He took requests from guests if they fit the vibe and was totally okay saying no too which is exactly what we wanted. We even had some guests asking for his playlist before the night was over. He brought tons of speakers and lights, and even some wireless speakers to play the same music in multiple rooms, including outside on the deck for cocktail hour. Everything went off without a hitch. “Not only are Josh and Tom amazing business owners, but they're fantastic people and extremely talented in their craft. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “Everything about Fusion Function was great. Sidney gave us personalized attention in our initial planning meeting and selected the perfect DJ (DJ Lavish) for our event. They use a comprehensive planning tool where you can link or input all the songs you want to play, but more importantly to us, DJ Lavish listened to what kind of vibes we wanted at each stage of the wedding and made sure to achieve it. Our guests had the best time on the dance floor! We also added on the 360 photo video, as well as a more classic open-air photo booth, both of which everyone loved. The dance floor was packed for the entire evening. Lauren and Marlon are a dynamite lead-singing duo, and the instrumentalists are each incredibly talented. Justin was very responsive and easy to connect with leading up to the day, and accommodated all of our requests and needs with ease. They were also very helpful with recommendations based on extensive experience, and even allowed the bride's sister to play their keyboard for the ceremony, which was an over-and-above request they did not have to agree to. Overall can't recommend this group enough!”

But Champagne Casanova is not your typical “wedding band.” They are just a straight up talented group of incredible musicians. We hired them to do music through our ceremony, perform at cocktail hour, and perform for our reception. They surpassed any expectations I may have had for our wedding. “Brian is one of the best wedding DJs in the business. In the past two years I’ve been to eight different weddings. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. He is an east coast DJ, but he spun tracks at both of my sister-in-laws’ weddings and as we were searching for a DJ for our own wedding we reached out just to see what he would charge for a wedding in Chicago. Turns out the price was right. Brian traveled to Chicago, MC’d our entire wedding, brought all of the equipment necessary and made our day exceptional in every way. I think there are a few things that really set Brian apart from other wedding DJs. Anyone can stand there and run through a playlist, but Brian went off book a few times to match and capture the energy of the guests. As we were in the midst of the planning process he added zero stress, and just calmly walked us through the process of selecting songs. He had suggestions and recommendations along the way. He even brought an extra speaker so that we could plug our digital piano in and the pianist would be able to play loudly enough. Overall, we can’t recommend Brian highly enough. You will not regret choosing him to DJ at your wedding, party, event. Whatever it is, Brian is a huge value add and a pleasure to work with.”
