I'm Brian and I design atmospheres through curated music and light for my clients and their guests so that we may all engage in a shared energy. Weddings are better when all the senses are engaged. I do that through combining music and light to work with each other seamlessly. I say no to sh*tty DJ lighting of the past. Your wedding shouldn't look like your middle school dance. Musically I want to present you and your guests with a soundtrack that speaks to you shared history and further connects you in the this significant moment in your life.

I am in this business because I love music, production and light, and finding creative ways to use them to elicit the best response from the guests. I put intense thought into how to pull these elements together for each and every wedding, and I never want to do the same thing twice. How can we use light to highlight or distract from the space? Are we looking for high energy or a laid back vibe? How do we do that with the playlist? How do we do it with the light? I ask myself dozens of questions as I work through this part of the process.

    Brian is truly exceptional, and we cannot overstate how invaluable he was in making our wedding a success! Leading up to the event, he was extremely organized and made the planning process really easy. He offered so much of his time to meet as often as we wanted, put a ton of effort into understanding our vision, and was super helpful in offering advice when we needed. The day of, he was such an important partner in keeping the entire running smoothly, and made us feel so secure and well taken care of. And he throws an absolutely electric party! He did an incredible job of learning our styles, and blending together an awesome mix of our favorite music with great crowd pleasers he knew we’d like. Our dance floor was just wild for over four hours, and our guests kept raving about how great he was! Working with Brian was one of the absolute best decisions we made! He was a delight to work with, an incredible DJ to party with, and our wedding would not have been the same without him!

    We hired Brian for our September wedding and had a incredible experience. From the start, Brian was friendly, helpful, and fun to collaborate with. It's clear that he is a true professional and carefully works to curate the perfect wedding atmosphere. He was responsive and flexible, especially when we were unsure in some of our choices. Our family and friends could not stop talking about how great the music selection was throughout our reception but especially once the dance floor opened. His equipment was top notch and he was able to accommodate our family farm venue to allow for speakers, microphones, and music in multiple locations throughout the property. I would highly recommend Brian and EventSmith Boston to anyone looking for a wedding DJ in the area.

    Brian had great guidance, respected all of our choices, did a fantastic job playing the music we wanted to hear, and was able to keep the different parts of the reception flow seamlessly. He adjusted the music and tempo based on our guests' responses so that EVERONE had fun.
