“Anica is fantastic. Her work is beautiful and she helped me and my bridal party to feel confident and pampered on the day of the wedding. I chose to do a trial before the wedding on Anica's recommendation, and I am so glad that I did! I did not realize my skin would have sensitivity issues to some of the products so it was great to find that out BEFORE it was my wedding day. Anica work around these sensitivities and created a look I am still so in love with. The pictures I attached are intentionally spaced throughout the day to show that the makeup application held up throughout photos, ceremony, and the after party. Not only is Anica talented, but she was able to provide council on what type of makeup to choose based on my/other recipient's desires and complexion needs. She was even willing to apply false lashes to one of my bridesmaids, last minute, who did not choose to book a makeup application! I cannot recommend Be Pretty enough!”

I don’t wear a lot of foundation and she was cognizant that I liked a lighter coverage look. She was incredibly detail-oriented and professional, as well as kind and understanding. She also did the makeup for all seven of my bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother-in-law. I was also just so impressed with how efficient she was in applying everyone’s makeup so flawlessly. Everyone truly looked beautiful. No one looked cakey or not like themselves - I felt like Alyssa knew how to use the perfect amount of makeup, which is so important because I feel like some makeup artists (based on pictures I've seen and experiences I've heard about) go a little too over-the-top. “Working with True Vermont Beauty was wonderful from start to finish. Liesel was communicative and professional in her response to my initial inquiry, and the survey/questionnaire that was sent to me helped me and my bridesmaids start thinking about what we wanted style-wise. Andrea and Karla did both my bridal trial and were our day of artists – and they were both truly wonderful. For the trial – I was offered a variety of options and I really felt like the look I ended up with was something that was truly me and that would last all day (I'm an easy crier). The team also provided great logistics info like start times and when to be ready so that we had a realistic timeline to get everything done for a first look at 2PM. They also worked really well with my florist – who was providing a floral hairpiece, and worked the floral arrival time into the timeline. Day of – Andrea and Karla were wonderful. They moved through 7 hair services and 5 makeup services, they even ran early, and everyone looked so beautiful! They were also super fun, and we had a great time chatting throughout the morning. The mood was great to say the least. My hair stayed in place until the end of the night when I took it out around midnight, and the same thing with my makeup. Everything stayed exactly as it was, no movement, no running, no smearing – which was just incredible because not only did I walk around in some light rain but it was also quite warm AND I cried several times. So – absolute kudos to this team, I can’t recommend them highly enough!”
