I've been passionate about beauty ever since I could remember. I grew up with extremely sensitive skin and, thanks to my mother who was religious about her morning and evening skin care routines, understood the importance of quality skin and makeup products. I found that the communications and business skills acquired from my undergraduate studies would carry over when building my own business. From there, I shadowed and assisted numerous makeup artists in upstate New York, NYC and Boston and went out on my own in 2011. In May 2018, I graduated from the 600-hour Advanced Esthetics program from Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics.

As a licensed esthetician I approach makeup with a wholistic approach- working 1:1 with my clients to make sure their skin is ready for their big day! I also understand and practice diligent sanitation.

A date isn't held without an executed contract and retainer. The sooner you know your date, the better. On average, I book about six months to one year out, however there are dates more popular than others (peak season is May-October). Also note that COVID-19 has elevated the amount of inquiries coming in so many popular dates may book out 1.5-2 years out. Once you have secured a venue and date, I advise that you should book hair and makeup shortly after.
With a network of extremely skilled makeup artists (who just so happen to be my friends), I am able to build a team of as many artists as needed to accommodate your party and will be in charge of paying them out.
There is a minimum of 3 for on-location bridal services , however I can accommodate the bride only if requested- additional fees will apply.
As a licensed esthetician, I am fully insured through ASCP and can provide a Certificate of Insurance upon request.
Yes! I highly recommend a trial-run or bridal preview and don't mind if you want to "try before you buy" to make sure you are 100% satisfied with your makeup before you sign a contract, however the only way to lock in your event date is with a fully executed contract and 50% retainer. The trial takes about 2 hours and allows us to work together to develop your desired look. I recommend you book a trial 6 months prior to your event date. I hold the bridal trials typically on Thursdays and Fridays at my home studio space in North Reading, MA. On-location trials will incur additional fees.

    The perfect vendor!

    I highly recommend working with Veronica! After an allergy test showed reactions to fragrances and other common topical ingredients, I was overwhelmed with analyzing ingredient labels and how to restart my routine in preparation for my wedding. I tried, and threw away, countless products. Luckily, I came across Veronica's website and was comforted by her personal experience with sensitive skin and her esthetician background. I also loved how her portfolio featured all different types of skin and face shapes. I started with a 1:1 makeup lesson with Veronica and it changed everything. It was amazing to talk to an expert and pick her brain about products, tools, and application techniques. By the end of our session, I had a list of safe-for-me products and a detailed skincare and makeup application routine. I felt pretty. My confidence in makeup application soared and I knew Veronica was the right person to help me on my wedding day. Veronica is the definition of professionalism. She had all the details locked down and I never had to worry. I was in good hands! For the bridal trial, we had a constructive discussion about my desired bridal makeup style and it turned out better than I could've imagined. She is truly an artist. The day-of was also executed perfectly. Again, zero stress because Veronica is incredibly professional and calm. I was so happy with my wedding makeup -- it lasted through a warm July day filled with lots of dancing and hugging. It was perfect.

    Veronica is great!

    Veronica was amazing at my wedding. She did lovely, light, natural-looking makeup for me as well as my bridal party. She was very patient and understanding in working with me after I wanted to adjust a few things after my trial. I also paid for touch up services up until the ceremony and I'm so glad I did. The makeup touch-ups were nice but she was so helpful wrangling my dress and veil and getting last minute things and generally being a calm and useful presence amongst all the things going on.

    Amazing!

    I’m so glad I chose Veronica for my wedding makeup! She was incredibly easy, professional, and fun to work with from start to finish. Throughout the entire process, she was so accommodating — from welcoming my mom to join me for my trial, to being flexible the morning of the wedding when one of my bridesmaids couldn’t make it and we had to quickly adjust the schedule. Veronica made the entire morning feel calm and stress-free, and I could feel any nerves disappear as soon as I sat down in her chair. I absolutely loved how my makeup turned out and how confident and beautiful it made me feel. Best of all, my makeup literally did not budge all night! I would recommend Veronica without hesitation to any bride looking for a talented, kind, and reliable makeup artist.

    Makeup perfection on the most important day!!

    As someone who wears minimal makeup on the day to day and was traumatized by the last time I got my makeup professionally done as an Asian woman - I cannot reccomend Veronica enough! From her communications leading up to my trial and the big day she made sure I felt comfortable with the process and made sure I felt my best on the day. There were concerns I had going in of wanting to look natural but my best and my eyemakeup in particular - she did a FANTASTIC job at getting my look down to perfection. We had 8 people total (myself, MOB, MOG, 4 bridesmaids and 1 jr bridesmaid) and Veronica & Shannon arrived right on schedule and got through all of us with time to spare. I cannot thank her enough for making me feel my best on one of the most important days of my life !

    Hire Veronica—You Won't Regret It!

    Veronica was an absolute delight to work with!! As a gay couple, it was important to us to find inclusive and diverse vendors for our wedding, and Veronica always made us feel comfortable and seen. We hired her services for our moms and ourselves, and she approached the whole process with care, enthusiasm, calm, and expertise. Her understanding of skincare and health was as important as her artistry—she didn't just make us look good, but she paid attention to each of our unique needs and chose products that left us feeling as good as we looked. None of our party normally wears makeup, so we wanted to just look natural but elevated, and Veronica did that exceptionally well. Makeup doesn't just need to be for young brides! If you're a man or mature woman questioning whether to hire Veronica—do it!! All of us were thrilled with her and would work with her again in a heartbeat.
