We have hosted a few different types of corporate events at Defiance Hall, and they have all gone over very well. Everything from the planning phases to the event execution itself were seamless. Their attention to detail is fantastic and they do everything they can to make sure that all needs are met. The facility itself is immaculate and gorgeous, pairing that with their tasty food and beverages and accommodating staff and management team, you can't go wrong! Highly recommend.

When I asked my photographer if there was anything I should know about working with Mountain Top Resort, she said, “Oh, you’ve struck gold with them.” At the time, I thought it was just vendors being kind to one another. Now, I know that we really did strike gold. From start to finish, Mountain Top Resort wanted to accommodate us. Before touring, I asked if their catering team would be open to an all-vegetarian wedding. They confirmed that it wouldn’t be a problem and even welcomed us to add additional meal options to their list so that we could incorporate our favorite meals into our day. The team was excited to take on a new task to help make the event feel like us. Leading up to the big day, email correspondence was quick and helpful. We asked a ton of questions, and we were never made to feel like a burden. In the 2 weeks leading up to our wedding, our coordinator Zoey let us know that our day-of coordinator would be Elizabeth. We were both a little nervous to switch from one coordinator to another, but it’s clear the team is just that: a team. Elizabeth picked up all the details and connected with us to make sure she had our vision clear in her mind. Right from the start of the ceremony rehearsal, it was clear she’d studied our choices! She cared about the details, and made sure our day was full of fun, joy, and support. When we forgot to bring our printed thank-you speech to reception, she said, “No problem, email it to me and I’ll print it right now.” When we weren’t able to finish our dinners, she packaged them up and sent them along to the house we were staying at. Elizabeth supported us without ever being overbearing. We both knew that the whole day was handled without us needing to worry about a thing, so we could focus on each other and our guests. Staff all around is the best staff you can ask for. Chef Dave, I will never stop craving his tenderloin! He truly has a passion of making the best food for each wedding. Our guest still text me about all his food. Brittany was amazing. I had last minute changes out of my control and she always found the best way to make things work! Tim the Banquet manager was always around ready to make sure it all ran smoothly. Ryan the lift operations manager kept Brittany updated on the weather day of and when it didn’t look good at the bottom he drove up to make sure he truly had say no to us going to the summit (it was 30 degrees with 45 kt winds) he and his crew opened the lift for 2 hours the next day so we could still get our summit pictures and they all had smiles on their faces. Truly every staff member had an impact in making our day more than we could of dreamed for! Overall, Hunter Mountain Resort provided an exceptional experience and incredible value, and I would highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding

We are a small family farm located in Central New York. We have created several spaces on our farm for ceremonies, and a very nice, intimate space for a reception. We have a licensed kitchen, therefore we can cater your wedding, or you can hire an outside caterer. We are working farm, and as such need to limit the number of seated guests to 30 or fewer, 50 or fewer for an hours d’oeuvres only reception. Booking our venue also includes officiant services. Everything about The Barn on Hyder Creek was perfect. Jackie and her team were friendly and welcoming. They helped with the set up for the outdoor ceremony, they moved cocktail tables to the porch, her crew was there maintaining the grounds the day before our wedding making everything look beautiful. The barn is decorated so nicely, the bridal suite is the perfect spot to get ready with your bridal party.

We had our wedding at The Rosemary At Spano Lake on October 4th and it was everything we could have asked for and more! The owners, Jackie and Danny, were amazing to work with and helped make our wedding visions come true by going above and beyond our expectations. The bridal suite was beautiful and had amazing lighting for hair and makeup! The tent was able to accommodate our guests of about 125, it had beautiful lights, tables, bar service, and so much more! Outside of the tent there was yard games and a fire pit! We had our ceremony on the lake facing out to the water by the rock and it looked just like a scene out of a movie! The pictures show just a small portion of how beautiful and amazing the venue was!

When looking for a venue, we did not a barn. Then we stumbled upon the Heritage barn and met the Dunham family and instantly knew this is where we wanted to have our wedding. It truly was the best weekend of our lives and we had so much fun! Every single detail was exactly how we wanted it thanks to Allie and Ken and the rest of the crew. They worked with our vendors to make sure our day was perfect. If we could host another event there we totally would. We booked the venue for the entire weekend so we were able to stay on property Friday and Saturday night with all of our best friends. My husband and I had the honeymoon cottage for the night of our wedding and it was so cute! Best weekend ever.

The Grove was the perfect location for our special day. The staff was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. The location was perfect for us. It was easy to get to but still felt like we were off the beaten path in our own little world for the day. The facility itself is beautiful and did not require lots of decorating, which was a huge plus! I would highly recommend The Grove to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue!

Our wedding was in August 2020 during the pandemic. There were many questions as to what we could do, things opening and closing, and confusion all around. Katrina and Russell kept us informed, made suggestions, and made our day perfect! They had open lines of communication and helped us through an already stressful time. Our wedding was perfect, even during a pandemic. With there help it was as close to a normal wedding as one could have. I am so thoroughly impressed and my breath taken away by the beauty of this venue. Magdalena is a helping hand from touring, to booking, to finding vendors and answering any possible questions you may have. Bonus she’s your on-site day-of coordinator and does everything she can to make sure your day runs smoothly and you can just enjoy yourself. Her husband Doug does the catering and my guests raved about how good the food was!!! There was plenty to go around and everyone was able to stuff themselves full. I will find some way to come back to this venue, it is just THAT amazing!!! PS. Photo booth, audio guestbook, uplighting, indoor/outdoor ceremony set-up, firepit ALL INCLUDED! They also have accommodations on site now for a very reasonable price!!

My partner Sky and I had the dream summer wedding we envisioned at Seven Ponds. For our wedding we wanted to emulate these weekend trips we do upstate with a close group of friends and just make it bigger to include our family. Seven Ponds farm provided our two requirements of what we were looking for - a big house that could fit all our friends and a swimming pond right on the property. We also really appreciated that we didn't need to hire a wedding planner and could utilize the venues resources for all the planning aspects. We really appreciated how the Seven Ponds staff let us do our own thing throughout the weekend for a really relaxed environment, but then whenever we needed them they were right there helping with things like doing a practice run of the ceremony and answering specific questions about the house etc. It was also so wonderful that the staff were able to handle things like setting up the tables and the candles for us for the wedding dinner. Overall the forms and calls for the planning process were really helpful. We did have a little frustration at the wedding tasting as we thought it was an opportunity to ask questions about the food and overall found out that they really don't want you asking many questions and would prefer you to just read the written packet they provide without interacting in person with questions. I would also recommend being well versed on the packet you purchased as they won't be able to answer questions about what packet you bought. This was a bit different than we expected and knowing what I know now I might recommend not bringing family or friends to the tasting or otherwise just preparing them to just fill out the paperwork quietly as us not realizing this made for a more difficult tasting experience. There was also one staff member at the tasting who was a bit rude to our family members and I was so worried that this negative energy would be reflected at our wedding so I asked for a different wedding coordinator to lead our wedding. Overall the impersonal nature of the tasting also just made me really worried that the wedding would have the same feel and so I wanted to include this to note that while the tasting process wasn't as personal this was not the case at the wedding and the wedding atmosphere was really lovely. After the tasting I asked for Rosie to be our lead wedding coordinator as she had a much warmer energy and I can't recommend Rosie enough. She truly made our wedding experience. If you're looking for a wedding coordinator who has a graceful upbeat energy, stays calm and is easy to communicate with definitely ask for Rosie. There was a big storm on the day of our wedding and Rosie was so helpful staying calm and telling me to not loose hope about doing the ceremony outside. Morten was also really great with a specific weather device he had that allowed us to see when we had a good window to do the ceremony outside and very happy to say it all worked out and we got our dream outdoor ceremony. Overall I really got the wedding I dreamed of and we had such a relaxed and personal atmosphere. We really appreciated all the work the staff did to set up the wedding which allowed us to really just have fun, enjoy and not worry about logistical details. We so appreciated the flower package the venue provided for setting up the flowers and the bonfire packages. Overall we loved our wedding so much and are so happy we went with Seven Ponds! :)

One of the sweetest moments was when they poured apple juice into champagne glasses for the kids during the toasts, just one of many thoughtful touches that made the whole day feel magical.
