We established our farm in 1981. Over the years, we have had the pleasure of providing our family and friends a beautiful scenic space for unforgettable celebrations. Valley Run Farm has hosted weddings, anniversaries, retirement parties, farm-themed birthdays, company and charitable events, and farm festivals. With all that Valley Run Farm has to offer, we couldn’t just keep it to ourselves, and decided to open our event venue to the community in 2020 so others may enjoy our setting. The 1764 Mohler House offers the ideal setting for your micro-wedding celebration. Lovingly restored by our family, this historic sandstone farmhouse combines its timeless character with modern conveniences. Step back in time as you and your guests enjoy the charm of exposed beam ceilings, aged wood floors, and antique furnishings that create a uniquely beautiful backdrop. Our micro-wedding packages include access to the first floor of the house, the rustic cellar basement, an adorable log house, a tent-covered outdoor area, and the picturesque grounds—from 10 AM to 10 PM. Bridal suites and a professional bartender are also included to enhance your experience. For out-of-town family and friends, we offer a three-day package accommodating up to 10 guests to stay at the Mohler House the night before and the night of your special day. Here at Pleasant View Farm we do weddings a bit different than some venues. Here you get a wedding weekend and a B&B experience! After all we are a bed and breakfast inn. The property is yours for 3 days. The day before your wedding to set up and decorate just how you like and then time for your rehearsal. We ask that everything is cleared up and out the day after your wedding by 3PM. This allows you your wedding day to enjoy and get ready and have fun with your family and friends. Included in the wedding weekend are 3 outdoor ceremony sites, 2 barns one for your reception and one for in case your outdoor ceremony needs to move indoor, 2 patios for cocktail hour, tables and chairs, and our guest cottage with overnight accommodations for 6 guests for both nights plus breakfast.
