They were communicative, professional, and had a platform that made choosing songs and getting organized a breeze. It was affordable as far as wedding add-ons goes and classed up the wedding, our guests were all excited and impressed. Our violinist was incredibly talented and added an incredible flair. We chose a hip hop theme he nailed it (classy but also super fun and energetic). My only regret is that we were so busy that we didn't get to stop and truly appreciate it as much as we should have. “My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! Carlos made contact with us regularly, walked us through how to use the Vibo app, worked with our venue coordinators at Crystal Ballroom at the Rice (Alexis Kent), worked with our planners at Whimsical Creative (Jen Molina), had a week-of call to finalize details and asked us all the right questions, listened to all our needs, and gave great suggestions for things that made our night special that never would have even occurred to us! Oh… and the lighting he provided in the ballroom was spectacular! Our venue and planner are even adding him to their preferred vendor list, which makes me so happy to know. I really can’t praise Carlos and Sofia enough! They read the crowd with perfect accuracy. The dance floor was never empty, and the photo booth was in constant use. Our guests had an absolute blast! I'm Austin Perez and I'm the owner of Party Ever After. I started DJing in college around 2017 doing house parties and eventually a residency at Buckshot Saloon in Galveston. From there I have played at multiple venues across Houston doing EDM & Hip-Hop events, Birthdays, Weddings and others. I'm currently partnered with DJ Isaac Entertainment and Artofficial Live Entertainment.
