Jerry and his crew made out wedding day incredible! They helped run the whole day, they got the guests seated, kept everything on schedule, and ensured that Ben and I didn't have to worry about anything. When our flowergirl got stage-fright right before walking down the aisle, Jerry swooped in to save the day and helped her find her mom. We initially didn't plan to do a grand entrance into the reception, but Jerry and the DJ (Megan from Music that Moves) made one happen last-minute so our flower girl could have a second shot ar throwing her petals. You're not just getting a venue at Parkway, you're getting a whole team who will make your event run smoothly. If we ever do a vow renewal or anniversary party, we will be back!

Our wedding at Meyer's Castle was nothing short of magical, and we owe so much of that to our incredible coordinator, Eva.

From day one, Eva was organized, thoughtful, and so genuinely caring. She made sure every detail was in place and that everything ran smoothly--not just behind the scenes, but for me personally as the bride. The day was beautiful, but hot, and Eva went above and beyond to make sure I stayed comfortable and calm. At one point when I was feeling overheated, she literally helped pin my hair up herself. That kind of kindness, grace, and hands-on support is something I'll never forget.

Meyer's Castle was the most stunning backdrop to our big day. The grounds are breathtaking, the atmosphere is so elegant, and our guests were completely blown away by the beauty of it all. Every part of the venue felt like it was straight out of a fairytale--from the ceremony setting to the castle charm that made the whole day feel surreal.

I truly can't imagine having done this without Eva by our side. She was a calm in the chaos, a true professional, and someone who genuinely cared about making our day perfect.

If you're thinking about booking Meyer's Castle--do it. And if you're lucky enough to have Eva as your coordinator, just know you're in the best hands. I'll be forever grateful for her and this dreamy venue that brought our love story to life.

Thank you, Eva & Meyer's Castle, for a day we'll cherish forever!

We hosted our small 35-person wedding reception at RLM Studio and it turned out to be the perfect space for our celebration. The open kitchen layout added a warm, communal feel that worked beautifully for our intimate gathering. It was exactly what we needed—comfortable, modern, and easy to make our own. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, we did experience a hiccup with the booking that made me a little nervous about how things would unfold. That said, Jordyn stepped in and handled the situation with care. She coordinated directly with our vendors to ensure everything ran smoothly on the day of the event, and I really appreciated that effort. Her involvement helped ease my nerves and allowed me to enjoy the day. Overall, the space was a great fit, and I would absolutely recommend it to others planning a small or medium-sized event. It struck the right balance between functional and beautiful, and with the right team in place, it made for a memorable and meaningful celebration.

Nestled right on a busy street, it’s easy to drive by without realizing the beauty that lies within—but once you step inside, you're transported to a space that is elegant and warm. I hosted my daughter’s quinceañera here, and it was nothing short of magical. From the first tour with John to the final goodbye, the staff at The Fountain Blue were incredible. John was always available to answer questions, and what I really appreciated was that he didn't use annoying sales tactics like other places that try to pressure you into booking a space; he provided me with the information I needed and then answered questions and provided adequate advice/feedback along the way. Additionally, the flexibility to find your own vendors to bring your event to life was what made me choose this place over others. Overall, every single team member went above and beyond to make sure the night was flawless. This review is long overdue! If you are looking for amazing food and service for your wedding, cocktail party, corporate event, or honestly, ANY event catering and service you need, you can’t go wrong with Lisa and her team at Kuma’s. One of the top three important items we wanted to concentrate on for our wedding was the catering (food and service). We have been big fans of Kuma’s for a long time which led me to look at them for our catering needs. We looked at a few places which we thought would work for our vibe, but after meeting with Lisa, we knew we had to have Kuma’s catering. Starting with the tasting, refining the menu before the day, as well as the actual day, Lisa was extremely responsive and communicative and really worked with us and our budget to make sure our day was memorable and special. Their sliders are exceptionally delicious (make sure to get the chicken Iron Maiden), and despite them being known for their burgers, Kuma’s has the capability to accommodate all sorts of dietary restrictions including vegans, vegetarians, those with gluten free and dairy allergies, and even the pickiest of kids! We had nine kids attending our wedding and I was concerned they would not enjoy the sliders as much as the adults. Lisa offered to provide a tray of chicken tenders with sauces for the kiddos to accommodate them to go along with the mac and cheese we had put on the menu. Moreover, everything is prepared fresh and never frozen, which is remarkable in today’s market. The basil vinaigrette used for the house salad was made fresh the day of and if I could, I’d buy a bottle every week. Furthermore, there are special items you can only get with catering, and we highly suggest ordering the buffalo chicken bites, jalapeno popper bites, and especially the artichoke dip. They were out of this world amazing. Everyone left extremely satisfied and we still get compliments on how amazingly delicious the food was, not to mention the exceptional level of service. Lisa was extremely attentive and beyond helpful with set up and clearing and made sure we didn’t have anything to worry about at the end of the night. Nick, our bartender, was super helpful with last-minute tasks before guests arrived, and made sure everyone had a drink and were taken well care of. As I said before, we were big fans of Kuma’s prior to our wedding and this experience just cemented our love for them even more. We will definitely use them for our catering needs in the future. If you are looking for something unique and special that will have everyone remembering your event in the best possible way, we highly recommend you book Kuma’s!

Review: If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind beautiful historic venue for an unique and special event in Chicago, the search is over. Book Stan Mansion now!!! We could not imagine or have chosen a better venue for our wedding. We live out of state but wanted to get married in Chicago for several reasons - after a trip we took just to look at several venues we had identified online it was such an easy choice for us to go with Stan Mansion. Cera Stan, the visionary owner, met with us and our families and told us all about her incredible story with the historic building - built in 1920s as a Masonic Lodge. The space is absolutely gorgeous and speaks for itself but we particularly loved how we were able to do everything onsite - getting ready, photos, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception - everything has a home at Stan Mansion and a beautiful, well-appointed one at that. We were impressed with their thoughtful and competitive pricing and the care and attention we were shown before we ever signed a contract - even sharing a list of favored vendors which was a guiding hand for us throughout our planning process. Cera gave us valuable advice at that first meeting about planning a wedding that rang in our ears throughout the entire year leading up to our big day. The other major appeal for us with SM was our incredible Wedding Coordinator, Aleya. We knew we wanted help with our planning process, but to have that be someone who works full time for the venue was invaluable. Aleya worked long distance with us for months via zoom, phone, and in-person meetings planned around our other travel to Chicago to assist in whatever way she could to help keep us on track. I plan events regularly as a part of my job and was excited to do the bulk of the planning of our wedding with my family, but Aleya’s knowledge of the venue and area, her strong relationship with vendors, her creative eye, passion for events, calming aura, and genuine love for her job shine through in everything she does. She is a gem and a huge part of why the venue is so phenomonal, but everyone we met who works there - Miguel, Monica, Cera’s husband Drago - warm, wonderful, lovely humans. At The Stan Mansion we were able to plan a bespoke, creative, seamless and well-run event that didn’t feel cookie-cutter or like any wedding we had been to before. Our guests were a mix of local Chicagoans and out-of-towners and they all raved about the venue - its beauty, its history, and just how special it felt. You can’t invent that about a space, it is inherent to the love poured into it and the care surrounding it. We will forever be so grateful to have found this special home in Logan Square! Thank you Stan Mansion! We will see you soon :)

Crystal, the event director at Parson’s, was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we started planning, she felt like so much more than an event coordinator—she was, for all intents and purposes, like having an incredibly skilled wedding planner by our side. She was thoughtful, intuitive, and completely in tune with the vibe we were going for—even when we couldn’t quite put it into words ourselves. On the big day, when we arrived for our surprise wedding, Crystal immediately picked up on our nerves and somehow knew exactly what we needed to feel calm and grounded. That kind of attentiveness is rare, and it meant everything to us. Her coordination was seamless, and her staff were equally incredible—warm, professional, and so clearly invested in making the day special. It’s honestly hard to put into words just how wonderful our wedding was at Parson’s. Thanks to Crystal, it felt effortless, joyful, and completely us. We will be forever grateful.

The staff was amazing and the food was so good. The manager and service staff made sure we always had a drink in our hand, gave us space to chat and connect with our families and made us feel right at home. My mom has a food allergy, but they made a single dish for every course that she could eat and warned her when there was a dish that might cause issues. They made sure all of our family felt taken care of, which was so special to me. The food is top notch. Lasagna and risotto are definite highlights, so don't miss those!

The Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club Chicago

5.0

Chicago, IL
  • Up to 300 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $25,000

Disco balls and shuffleboard? Count us in! Take an unconventional approach to celebrating love. Who needs the cha cha slide when you can have shuffleboard? Plus with a 500 person main floor capacity (plus 200 more on the rooftop) and tropical decor setting the vibe, your guests will be talking about this wedding for years to come!

Why you'll love this venue

  • All-inclusive venue packages
  • Both indoor and outdoor options
  • Provides lighting and sound

Venue considerations

  • No free parking
  • Does not allow pets
  • Not wheelchair accessible
Royal Palms has always held a special place in our hearts. At the beginning of our relationship, I joined a league with my now-husband’s best friends. Shuffleboard (and Shuffleboard Bobs) brought us together, and they welcomed me into the group. We were league regulars and made some great memories, even though we rarely won a game. When we got engaged, we knew we wanted an untraditional wedding experience and were so excited that Royal Palms was willing to host us - their first wedding! Their events coordinator, Taylor, was just as enthusiastic and worked closely with us to plan an incredible event. We walked down a shuffleboard aisle on the roof while the Blue Line passed behind us, making for some incredible photos. Captain Scott gave our guests tutorials while they ate Big Star tacos from a truck and drank amazing cocktails. The energy was incredible, and it meant the world to us to see our families and friends connecting over rounds of shuffleboard. Hosting was easy - the space is already so beautiful that we did not bring in any decorations! No flowers or linens needed. Catering from a food truck was fun and unique. The photo station was fully stocked with props. The AV equipment was ready for a DJ and we kept our custom playlist bumping all night. The bartenders kept energy high and drinks flowing all night (truly the best bar in the city, in my opinion!). We danced and ate and played for hours. Our guests still talk about this night to this day. It was a party to remember, which is exactly what we wanted. Even better than the wonderful memories, pictures, and stories is the fact that we can go back whenever we want to relive the night. Even after two kids, we still make a point of playing a round of shuffleboard every year on our anniversary - it will be 6 years this fall! We cannot thank the Royal Palms staff enough for working with us. They are high-energy and fun, and they are also professional and take their clients’ experience very seriously. You would never know ours was their first wedding - they had every single detail covered, resulting in a seamless night. I look back on that night with nothing but happy memories. I wouldn’t change a single thing!

Wildman BT

  • Starts at $10,000

Lofty. Posh. Perfect. Wildman BT is a special place for weddings. Unassuming on the outside, magnificent on the inside, your guests will be transfixed in the moments of your big day. The natural light streaming from double clerestory windows, the warmth of the century-old exposed brick, and the luxury in the details designed in the space provide an incredible surrounding for the day you both say, I do.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Space for a large guest list
  • Provides lighting and sound
  • Bridal suite on site

Venue considerations

  • No on-premises lodging options
  • Additional event staff required
  • Not wheelchair accessible
We had the most beautiful wedding at WildmanBT - Michelle was super easy to work with and we loved the optional and available upgrades. We had a group of approx. 210, large stage props, a band, 2 food trucks, and large dance floor. We were worried about finding a venue that'd be able to fit all our people and specs but WildmanBT more than surpassed our expectations. It's the perfect mix of industrial and chic - we had highly personalized touches and wanted to be in the weeds on most decisions, which WildmanBT and our coordinator graciously accommodated for. WildmanBT was also a top choice for it's more square than rectangle shape which meant more people could watch the dancing from their seats and the bridal suite was top notch. The location is ideal given it's close to Fulton Market where we had our rehearsal dinner and hotel block for guests.

I worked with LNF for over a year to plan my dream wedding. We knew we wanted to go a little unconventional from the standard type of venue and let me say it PAID OFF. From the planning perspective: I want to give all my kudos to Brianna from the events team for everything she did! She was in constant communication with me about everything from food selections to reception layout and was so kind throughout the entire process. She helped me feel empowered with the decisions we were making and helped with monthly touch bases to go over details to weekly once we got close to the wedding. She made sure I had everything I needed and helped make our vision come to life! From the venue/event perspective: Our guests are still raving about this wedding two weeks out. The family style entrees gave everyone more than enough food that was delicious and the bar staff was getting into the party with us as much as we were! Everyone was attended to in a timely manner and the entire staff played a huge role in making the night so welcoming and engaging. The layout worked perfectly for our group, too. The garden transformed into our dance floor that easily fit all of our guests together and the rooftop served as such a unique and beautiful setting for our ceremony. I truthfully don’t have enough positive things to say about the staff and the venue. Not to mention that the pricing for our event was all inclusive (bar, food, venue, DJ, decor, etc.) which made it super easy to keep track of everything and was also WAY more affordable than other venues within the area. Thank you, LNF, for the best experience I could’ve asked for going into my big day!

Bookclub is one of my favorite places to be at in the world. Its charm, spirit, and ethos resonates deeply with me. I could list many other things about the space that I love, but I think the one that should be highlighted the most is the staff and owners of the venue. They truly go above and beyond to make the space so incredibly warm and welcoming to everyone. Every time I have a nice chat with someone there, I leave feeling my soul nourished. Maybe I’m a sap, but I truly have had some of the most pleasant experiences at this space. If you were to ever be lucky to go there, tell them Wayne says hi! I’m sure they’d love to hear it :)

Colvin House is an extraordinary wedding venue featuring an inviting glamorous interior, large outdoor reception areas, beautiful gardens, beach access & unforgettable views of Lake Michigan. Designed in 1909 by visionary Prairie School architect, George W Maher, the mansion is a historic landmark and was a private residence before its current life as an events venue & coworking space. We pride ourselves on fostering inclusivity & we strive to reduce wedding waste by having almost everything needed onsite while also allowing couples vendor flexibility. Previous residents added details reflecting the styles of grand movie theaters and the glamorous neoclassical revival flair of the 1920’s and 1930’s, giving the house a relaxed but unified mix of architectural styles. From the majestic crystal chandelier escorting you down the grand staircase to the marble fireplaces, we invite you to imagine the house is yours for the day as you invite family and friends in to celebrate your union.

Why you'll love this venue

  • All-inclusive venue packages
  • Historic touches

Venue considerations

  • No on-premises lodging options
We were drawn to Colvin House because of the mansion's historic details, but believe it truly shines when paired with the talents of Pyrite Sun, their in-house planning, catering, rentals, and floral team. We met with Sarah (Colvin's Events Manager/Owner of Pyrite Sun) to tour the space and ended up hiring Pyrite Sun for our entire wedding at Colvin House. Not only was it convenient to have everything under one roof, but we had a personalized wedding experience like no other–complete with vintage furniture, plates, and coupes, the most incredible floral from Colvin's gardens, and a customized food menu that our guests still rave about. I also love that Sarah recommends great vendors they've worked with and happily coordinates whatever you need with any other vendors you'd like to hire, as well. Overall, an incredibly special experience you won't find anywhere else. Thank you, Colvin House and Pyrite Sun, for making our vintage glamour wedding dreams come true!
