“We would highly recommend anyone that is considering working with Tomi. We first heard about him and his work through other online recommendations, and quickly enjoyed the ease of his website and clear offerings. His packages aligned well with our budget and he was so responsive from the start, we knew we were on the right track. We had an engagement photo shoot with him first, and had some rescheduling due to weather. He was so helpful keeping a close eye on the weather and communicating with us to make sure we were all on the same page (because we had a bit of a drive to the location). Day of the shoot, me and my fiancé made the call to keep on schedule, even though it was pretty windy. Little did we know that we would endure insane winds up on the mountain view we picked. We ended up laughing the whole time and having so much fun with it, I think a huge part due to the energy that Tomi brings and his creativity to make things work. We loved the pictures, and even laugh at our hair swirling around in some of the photos. We met with Tomi a few times virtually to talk through our plans, shot lists, wedding day timeline, etc. He led us the whole way, because of course we haven’t planned such an event before. While we did do our homework, he did a great job assigning to us what we needed to think about and plan so he could give us exactly what we wanted in the end. On the day of our wedding, Tomi was prompt and ready to go. He even snagged some images that we may have been in too much of a whirlwind to realize or remember on our own. Our pictures are just stunning, and we have SO many of them. We just loved the creativity, catching the perfect moments, and candid nature of our pictures. Even our guests were having a blast with him, and we’ve had many tell us how cool our photographer was. It was amazing to see our guests connect with him in this way, and I think it made for more awesome snaps as well. “My husband and I were beyond impressed with our entire experience with Debra Aslanidis Photography. From start to finish Debra made my experience as a bride so smooth and stress-free. Wedding planning can be a stressful process, but Debra provided excellent communication about what to expect leading up to the wedding and the day of, so we felt very at ease the entire time. When I ran into an unrelated issue (a problem with another vendor), Debra reached out and sent me recommendations and offered support while I dealt with the situation. It was unbelievably kind and not at all expected, but it really made me feel cared for and I appreciated Debra going above and beyond for me! On the day of our wedding, Debra and her partner Jeremy were absolutely phenomenal. For one, they worked so perfectly together. We had guests complimenting how well they worked and coordinated together! I seriously can’t thank them enough for not only being amazing photographers, but also helping with other tasks that they voluntarily did. I seriously felt like they assumed the role of our wedding coordinators at times, since we didn’t have one, by providing suggestions and opinions since they’re the experienced ones when it comes to weddings! I couldn’t be more thankful for their confidence and comfortability in doing so! Finally, I am seriously blown away by the fact that we got our photos about a month after our wedding day! Debra has worked weddings, engagement shoots, and other photoshoots every single weekend and has a family, yet still managed to bust her butt to finish our photos, and it was the best surprise to get our photos back right before celebrating one month of marriage. I am so in love with our photos and have looked at them every single day, multiple times a day, since getting them back. Photos are the one thing you keep from your wedding day (besides your memories!), and I am absolutely in love with the final photos! The editing is beautiful, and I’m so happy we prioritized finding a photographer who emphasizes the behind-the-scenes and candid moments. I love that our pictures are 100% in the moment and capture the real, raw emotions of everyone! There were several detailed shots of our venue and decor and I love those just as much as I love the ones of me, my husband, our families, and our friends! They’re all so stunning!! Our photos made me laugh, cry, audibly say “awww,” and smile the biggest, cheesy grin. “One of the most important wedding elements for me and my now husband was the photography. We were immediately drawn to Amy's natural but bold, candid and fun style, as well as her transparent pricing. She was great to communicate with from the very beginning, answering all of our very detailed questions almost a year before our wedding even took place. And on the day itself? She was incredible! My husband and the groomsmen got into an accident on their way to the venue, which obviously stressed him out on top of significantly delaying our first look. Amy helped calm him down to bring him back to the moment and found unplanned pockets of time during the wedding to take some more pictures of just us. We were so impressed with how much she covered without a second photographer—even our guests commented on how she seemed to be everywhere at once! She has such a knack for capturing the fleeting, special moments, and for making people feel comfortable right off the bat. Finally, we were also amazed at the turnaround on the pictures. Amy had sneak peaks ready for us only 2 days after our wedding, and we had the rest about 5 1/2 weeks later. We had many newlywed friends this year who were waiting much longer for any pictures at all. We can't recommend Amy enough!”
