When we figured out a new venue he did everything he could to become familiar with the new space and the owner. The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. “Overall, we had a good experience with our DJ. He arrived on time, was professional throughout the evening, and kept our guests on the dance floor for most of the night. The music flowed well, and everyone seemed to have a great time. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

He made everything so easy we met him in person he explained how their company works and showed us the portal where we would provide all of the details for the DJ. A month before our wedding we got assigned our DJ, Jonathan, and he couldn’t of been a better DJ. He did an intro call with me and discussed all of my concerns and my schedule and was very detailed in going over my timeline and added extras I wanted. “Bill and John did a wonderful job for mine and my Husbands special day. From the very first phone call, Bill was very informative and reassuring that they would get the job done to fit our vision. They even came to the rehearsal (small extra cost) to make sure all music cues were exactly how I wanted them which was great as many DJs had told me “no.” It really helped ease my nerves knowing things were well executed and ran through the day before. “Jenny was a wonderful pianist at the ceremony. She was able to play all the songs we requested even some Spanish ones. The guests really enjoyed how she played she is very talented. The process to hire her was very easy and she responded the same day that I inquired for pricing. We were able to set up an initial meeting and she answered all of my questions. She uses an online template to allow you to set up the songs for each section it was very organized. If there was not a song on the list, I was able to ask her about them and she added them.”

“Soundwave DJs know how to make the party happen!! I am not usually one to dance at a wedding, but I never left that dance floor! Brian was incredible. I was pretty specific (like creating playlists of the songs I wanted played) and he was all over it! He was supportive and followed everything we wanted with grace and excellence! Originally we spoke to a few DJs who all told us that we shouldn’t make playlists and it should depend on the crowd, which we just aren’t that couple. We wanted certain music played because we knew our guests and what would keep them on the dance floor. When we shared our past interview experiences with Brian, he said, “I don’t roll that way. It’s about you.” He made us feel so validated and comfortable and excited for the day! He was great about communicating with us on the day and making sure that what we wanted happened! He had people packed on the dance floor until the very last minute. He was jamming out with us as he was DJing.
