Joe and I had our wedding/25 years together celebration at Hudson Prime with 70 of our closest friends and family. I was looking for a place overlooking the Hudson that was reasonably priced. Floria was fantastic guiding us through the process, choosing the menu; helping find a DJ, even matching the printed party menu to our invitations. Gino, Arif and the restaurant staff were so attentive and supportive while setting up and throughout the event. Everyone had a wonderful time! The dance floor area was just the right size and the DJ played a fantastic mix. The food... exceptional; the high praise that friends and family shared for all the dishes they ate went on for weeks. I say, try the bacon! My only bummer was that the sunset was hiding behind the rain clouds. We did go back a couple weeks later and had dinner enjoying the sunset views. Highly recommend! Definitely made the right choice. We will be back for dinners in the future. Maybe even on an anniversary or two.

The 76 House is America’s oldest tavern. This document stands as one of America’s first declarations of independence and is often given as the reason we celebrate July 4. The ‘76 accommodates up to 150 guests in 3 distinctly styled dining rooms, each one graced with a glowing fireplace. Whether you’re planning a corporate luncheon for two dozen guests, a family celebration for fifty or a glamorous wedding, personal assistance from our experienced events staff ensures a flawlessly executed occasion to be remembered for years to come. Our vision for our wedding was for all our favorite people having a night out at a bar and the 76 house more than delivered! We loved the historical aspect of the restaurant and they even had little pamphlets our guests could take that shared the history of the venue. This is a bit of an untraditional wedding venue (as it is a restaurant) but that didn’t stop anyone from dancing and having a great time. From the moment we started working with Elisa (our “wedding planner” aka the woman who runs the show) she was detail oriented while willing to work with us throughout the whole process. Whether it was from payment, table arrangements, food, getting the vendors set up, etc. anything we needed, she helped. The food tasting she set up for us was amazing allowing us to try various options for the dinner. We are both laid back people so we let the chef go with any appetizers he wanted. You are able to request anything you want and they will likely be able to do it for you. The chef did not disappoint, ALL of the apps were incredible. We had one guest mention he ate 20 meatballs they were so good. There was chicken, steak skewers, lamb chops, meatballs, hummus/veggie spread (that wasn’t even all that was served). We had eaten at the restaurant a few times so we knew the food was good. However, having to serve 120 people and still make it delicious is tough but they did it well (we went with the chateaubriand, amish chicken, mahi mahi, and vegetable risotto). We requested no pork or nuts for the whole wedding. We had a wedding cake through a bakery they recommended and they also put plates of small desserts out on the tables. Aside from the food, the service was amazing. All the waiters and waitresses were attentive and extremely professional. For us, we constantly had our champagne filled and asked whether we needed something. They were on top of water refills, drink requests, clean up, etc. We really appreciated the service given to us and our guests. We heard so many times during cocktail hour that every time someone turned around they had a food option. While we did not have to go up to the bar, our guests said the bartenders were awesome, quick, and generous! Elisa worked great with our other vendors as well, making sure they had everything they needed and that things were kept on schedule (food, dances, cake, etc). We had a completely stress free evening which allowed us to have the time of our lives. She ensured that our tables were set with the centerpieces, the florals were set up, and she created a menu for us (which is great to have something taken off our plate). Elisa also, set up our various signs and ensured everything was where we had discussed. We were able to drop everything off ahead of time and not have anything to worry about the day of. Our biggest concern going to this venue was the fact that the front room was partially separated from the rest of the restaurant. We decided to sit people there who we knew would be a bit rowdier and on the dance floor so it wasn’t an issue for us at all. It did get pretty toasty in there but we were dancing the whole time and it’s an older building. The air tried its best and while sitting for dinner it was more than comfortable! We are a crazy group so I’m not surprised we were sweating lol. This was the best day and a HUGE part of that is thanks to Elisa and her whole team at the 76 house. Food, service, people are TOP NOTCH. We could go on and on but ran out of space :)

Their attention to detail and commitment to making our day perfect was evident in everything they did. I wish I had more time to give each of them a hug for their incredible work! The food and drinks were simply amazing — to say they were delicious would be an understatement. What truly set this venue apart was Cindy’s dedication to ensuring everything ran smoothly. From the moment we saw the back rooms at Arte Cafe, we knew it would be the perfect venue for our wedding. The staff were incredibly open to our wishes and flexible in working with us to make our vision a reality. The skylight and garden rooms looked absolutely beautiful, with the natural light and greenery creating a magical, airy atmosphere, and hanging lights and chandeliers brought elegance once the sun set. The cocktails, passed appetizers, and dinner buffet were all delicious, and the staff - from the servers and bartenders to the manager - were extremely attentive and prompt. Alexis, the venue coordinator, was very helpful in managing communications with the restaurant and coordinating the kitchen. She could be a bit hard to get in touch with at times and was not at the venue the day-of the wedding, but the management staff took over and the event got set up the way we wanted (although this took some prompting / follow up from us) and flowed seamlessly. We ended up with exactly the wedding we had hoped for. We highly recommend Arte Cafe for any couple looking for a stunning, flexible venue that will truly make your special day feel like a dream come true. You might have to put a bit more of your own time into making sure you get what you asked for, but if you are willing to put in some of the extra effort it is well worth it.

Also of course the space is beautiful, the decorations perfect, the views amazing, and the food absolutely delicious. We got many rave reviews from our guests of the food! They easily had an open bar, live piano, and cocktail hour with activities after dinner. They were very accommodating and helped us with table set up, activities, cake cutting, a screen for photos, and house music. Athena also filled us in on all the details regarding a wedding there. She was nothing but attentive, responsive, and easy-to-work-with during the entire process. The venue itself exceeded our expectations - the huge dance floor, 2 full bars inside the main ballroom and the rooftop cocktail hour were all key in bringing the party together! The food is top notch, which was our absolute number 1 priority. Everything went so smoothly, from scheduling our first visit, to picking up the leftover cake and other items we left behind after the wedding. The personal attention given to the couple throughout the reception was greatly appreciated. My husband Dustin held our reception at Albert's Bar in April. My goodness I cannot begin to say enough about how picture perfect this venue is! Not only is the space itself beautiful and unbeatable, the team behind Albert's Bar are among the nicest and most helpful I've ever worked with. Their events lead Jenn was with us every step of the way, the manager Pete made us feel so seen & heard, and a massive thank you also to Abby for executing every detail for us on the day of the big event! The bar tenders and wait staff completed enamored my family & friends (and how kind were they to humor us in our excessive enthusiasm!) There are so many areas of our experience to rave about... Quite honestly, my family and friends are *still* waxing poetic about their big night out in midtown. This venue absolutely elevated the experience of everyone who attended. We had several high profile attendees from out of town who mentioned more than once that they were "completely blown away by Albert's". My guests who were local were equally impressed. This venue made us look as cool as we think we are ;) Run, don't walk, to secure your wedding space with Albert's. It's the most hidden gem of an option in New York that exists in today's landscape, I can assure you of that. 0% chance you won't have the best day & night of your life if you take this route, as we did! 3 Kate & Dustin

Awarded Best of Zola
This past August, my daughter Sheraden chose to get married in the vibrant city of New York. For us, it was a destination wedding, as we live just outside another great city, Toronto, Canada. After visiting several venues, we decided on Bryant Park Grill—a special place for our family, as it was a memorable stop during our first trip to NYC when Sheraden was just 11 years old. Clearly, the city left a lasting impression, as it has become a favorite destination for her over the years. Planning a wedding from a distance is no small feat, especially for us, as we have a background in event decorating and are typically very hands-on. From our very first meeting with Kristi Ohlin, the Catering Sales Manager, we knew we were in good hands. The team at Bryant Park Grill has an incredible depth of experience in hosting events, which became evident throughout the entire process. To say they are experienced is an understatement. Kristi and her team kept us on track from start to finish and recommended outstanding vendors, many of whom we chose to work with. While we brought our own creative touches—including some sizable props—we entrusted the team at Bryant Park Grill to execute our vision seamlessly. Coordinating wedding décor and logistics in a bustling city like New York is no easy task, but Kristi and her colleague, Diane Giovannone, went above and beyond to ensure everything came together perfectly. Their ability to understand and bring our ideas to life, even without our direct involvement on the day, was nothing short of extraordinary. The result? A wedding that exceeded our expectations in every way. The venue’s attention to detail, professionalism, and dedication to creating a flawless experience made for a truly magical day. Bryant Park Grill is a 5-star, white-glove service establishment that operates like a well-oiled machine. And the food—oh, the food! It was exceptional, surpassing our high expectations and delighting all of our guests. We cannot thank Kristi, Diane, and the entire Bryant Park Grill team enough for making our daughter’s wedding the most epic and memorable event of our lives. Many of our family and friends remarked that it was one of the best weddings they had ever attended. With heartfelt appreciation and love, Tanja & Dean Link, Angie & Beni Colalillo, and the Bride & Groom, Sheraden & Alessio

This was the most amazing experience ever! We had our wedding at Threes Brewing at their Greenpoint location and from start to finish, Angie was exceptional and so, so, SO kind and helpful to us. She was extremely responsive to all our questions and concerns, and always made the effort to respond as soon as possible. The wedding industry and wedding planning process is so tough and stressful, but Angie went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of and she accommodated every concern and change we had. Not to mention, the food & drinks were amazing! Our guests still rave about the food and cocktails they were served, and every person says that the food and drinks were the best they've ever had at a wedding, which is super high praise! We could not have done this without Angie and the team at Threes Brewing, and would really suggest either of their locations as a perfect wedding venue for a couple looking for something that's intimate and cozy, and have amazing food and drinks!

First and foremost, the owner Brenton is one of the nicest, coolest guys you will ever meet. He is so accommodating and so willing to go the extra mile to make sure we had a good experience. He was extremely flexible and easy and fun to work with, and his great energy really made our event feel so special. We built our space to be unique and original in many ways but also very minimalist and interchangeable. Our tasting room is 1,000 sf with 2 concrete bars. Large windows open onto the sidewalk. One small bar is good for the DJ set up or serving food! Lights are all dimmable to create different moods. The main feature of the space is the large circular bar with 40 taps behind it and a big circular window that overlooks our production space. On tap we have a large selection of our cocktails (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), local beers, spirits and wine. There are 2 restrooms. There is plenty of seating, bar seats, custom bench and circular tables, all can be moved or removed. We also offer full packages including coordinating catering, djs and florals with additional add ons such as fun booths or photographers. Send us a message if you want to see more!

As life long NYC-ers, my wife and I were getting concerned with the BORING options out there for our wedding reception. There were tons of places that felt like "just another bar". Or there were incredibly expensive indoor/outdoor rooftop venues with reams of red tape and complicated rules (must use our DJ, must buy XYZ food package). We just wanted to have a party! The Wandering Barman had EXACTLY what we wanted. First, the space itself is incredible and GORGEOUS. The look is unique, the room is spacious, and the light wall looks stunning (you can light it up any color you want!). It really is as fantastic in real life as it appears in photos. The super high ceilings give the space room to breath, and the outdoor picnic tables were perfect for guests taking a break between dance sessions. Plus, since they bottle their own cocktails in the factory on-site, they have everything on tap! No waiting for your bartender to make a drink, it's as simple as pouring one of their delicious cocktails (they have like 15 options, something for everyone, plus wine/beer). It really kept the party moving. Second, Roxane and the team are flexible and easy to work with. We ended up doing a Taco Truck a cash bar. This ended up being an incredibly affordable option for us, and Roxane helped us find a DJ and made sure we were able to get security for the night (so no random NYC party go-ers crashed our reception). If you're looking to have a more modest sized reception or event of any kind you cannot do better than the Wandering Barman!!
