First and foremost, congratulations! This is an exciting time! Before I begin with all the details, I would like to do away with the formalities and keep it light. Technically speaking, I’m a photographer, but honestly, since establishing my business in 2014, I would consider myself a teammate through this process. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know couples, their families, their stories, and at the end of the day, becoming a good friend. If this vibes with you, we are off to a good start :) Answering questions, transparency in communication, and prompt responses are important to me and I hope that everything I share resonates.

Engagement and wedding photographers aren't usually something you need too many times in a lifetime. Sometimes you aren't sure where to begin or who to book, but you take your chances and hope for the best. That was me, pre meeting Justin Kunimoto. I found Justin through a google search. His website and portfolio were beautiful. His about me/philosophy page came through as warm and genuine, and I reached out to him via Instagram about an engagement shoot with the DC cherry blossoms. Justin responded quickly and professionally. Once we had a plan, he sent follow ups about construction and road closures near the tidal basin. He gave us suggestions on where to park and how long it would take to walk over. He arrived early that morning to do a walkthrough of the area. We had also arrived early, but he told us to stay in the car where it's warmer until it was closer to sunrise. Once we met up with him and were about to get started, I realized I never paid for parking. I tried paying for it on my phone, but naturally, it wasn't working. We didn't have our credit cards on us, so Justin offered to pay in order to save us a trip. I thought, "Whoa, this guy's really trusting. He's reaching for his wallet for us and we met him just five minutes ago." It turned out ParkMobile really was down, so my fiancé ended up running back to the car and paid at the meter. I apologized for the mix-up and he assured me it was okay. He said he's not in any rush and we have as long as we need. It made me feel at ease knowing he wasn't charging me for his time, but rather, the photoshoot/project as a whole. Justin did a great job planning and communicating ahead of the shoot. We felt loose and carefree the entire time. It was fun! Our photos turned out beautifully and for the ones that didn't, it was because of us as models and not his artistic composition. I could tell that he fixed up my stray hairs and removed some visible dress straps. He also brought us hand warmers to use. In so many ways, his thoughtfulness shined through and through. What a wonderful person, all around. It was a pleasure to meet him and to work with him.

I'm a wedding and elopement photographer based right in Baltimore, MD. Originally from Greece. There is nothing that makes me happier than capturing laughter, love, and connections. I believe that everything happens for a reason

Awarded Best of Zola
After meeting dozens of photographers, scrolling hundreds of portfolios, and feeling like all wedding photographers were the same, I saw Margarita at a wedding expo booth. Her display photos were nothing I had ever seen from a wedding photographer before...an artistic voice. Scroll her work and you'll be relieved to find someone who captures raw, real emotion and doesn't rely on 50 filters and over saturation in her work. Her prices were incredibly reasonable so we booked her immediately. After talking with us, she suggested we do our engagement shoot at a brewery/arcade which we had never been to and now we go every week! Props to her Baltimore city knowledge and ability to read us to find one of our favorite places that has significant meaning More importantly, when we got our photos back, we were floored. Neither my partner nor I really like our photos taken but we loved the photos and how we looked. She brought out the models in us with such ease because the whole time you work with her it feels like your with a friend who just happens to have a camera. It all felt natural and genuine and you can see it in the photos. The wedding was the same thing - just a laidback feeling between my spouse, Margarita, and me just hanging out. Yes, she can shoot a camera. Yes, she can edit photos. Yes, she can properly read light and stage photos. All necessary skills of a photographer but her real skill is making connections with her clients and capturing genuine emotions and moments. She'll set your mind at ease so you can be present with your partner to enjoy your day then she'll deliver you hundreds of breathtaking photos. Book her, you won't regret it.

Living Radiant Photography
Rating: 5.0 (14 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $6,500
  • Serves Gunpowder, MD

We’re Maggie and Patrick, the husband-and-wife team behind Living Radiant Photography. For over a decade, we’ve captured weddings across Maryland, DC, and beyond with a style that blends timeless portraits and joyful storytelling. Couples love how we make them feel at ease, photographing natural, radiant moments without forcing anything. We've been on weddingW*iRe + theK*not and are new to Zola! TONS of reviews over there! To us, photography isn’t just about pretty pictures—it’s about preserving the emotions and details that will matter for generations.

I truly cannot say enough good things about living radiant. They have photographed some of the most important moments of our lives—our wedding, multiple family sessions, Christmas photos, and even our baby’s first 48-hour photos. Every single time, the photos are absolutely amazing. On our wedding day they helped keep the day running smoothly by guiding us through the timeline and calming nerves when things felt hectic. They paid attention to small details—dress, rings, décor, candid emotions—that made our photos feel so personal. They have a gift for capturing real, beautiful moments, and they make you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. If you have an idea or a vision, they are all in and ready to bring it to life. We are so grateful to have found the best photographers that we can trust with our biggest milestones.

I want to make you feel absolutely magical.

Layla was a WONDERFUL photographer. We knew from our engagement shoot that she would bring the same positive, warm, and comforting vibe to the wedding day but she exceeded expectations. She brought a second photographer (per our request) that we hadn't met before but both of them connected with all of our wedding guests, captured the most beautiful, intimate, and representative moments. We were sad when they left but not for the lack of photography! It took about 6 weeks to get our photos and they were amazing - we got nearly a thousand edited shots from the day, meaning we'll get to relive the entire night for the rest of our lives.

We absolutley love Brenden! He did our engagement and wedding photos. From the first meeting he was friendly, warm, and professional. I appreciated his style, specifically his use of color (warm and cool colors), while my wife appreciated his ability to capture emotions and special moments. We also appreciated his ability to direct guests with a calm, confident, and friendly approach. A few of our guests even commented that they appreciated his direction--confident but polite and respectful, whereas other wedding photographers were "too type A" for them. Brenden made everyone feel at ease, which shows in the photos and our video. Bonus points because he recognized half the songs on our playlist! Overall, when looking for a photographer we learned that personality is as important as competence. With Brenden, you get both! We absolutely would recommend all of our friends to use his services.

Hi, I'm Lee. Dreamer, Romantic, Storyteller... Growing up I didn't get it, I can tell you there is more than one photo of me with a bored and anxious look on my face. I can still hear my dad, who has now passed, say "if you don't sit still we will be here all day". As an adult, I now get it. Not being able to talk with my dad everyday or ask for advice, I'm so thankful to have albums full of family photos to hold in my hands. Fast forward to today as a DC wedding photographer, I want this for you. Nothing gives me more pleasure than capturing wedding photos that you and your family will cherish for a lifetime.

Hey there, my name is Tia! I'm 27 years old and living in Baltimore, and I've been documenting love stories for the last 9 years. I truly believe I have the best job in the world. In addition to photog, my other loves include dancing, 70s + 80s rock, cooking, anything involving my family and friends, my cat Goose, and watching reality dating shows.

Awarded Best of Zola
Alison and I met Tia when she photographed our friends’ wedding in 2024. We were both in the wedding party, and right away we were blown away by how talented and professional she was. Not long after their wedding, the sneak peeks came out — and they were absolutely breathtaking. So when we got engaged later that year, there was no question who we wanted as our photographer. Even though we’ve only worked with Tia in a professional setting, she has a way of connecting with you on such a personal level that it feels like you’ve known her for years. She’s warm, genuine, and makes you feel completely at ease in front of the camera. I have a big family, and we were a little nervous about getting all the photos done before the ceremony. Tia showed up completely prepared — she had her shot list on her phone mounted to her camera — and somehow managed to keep everything organized and right on schedule. We love her shooting style. It’s natural, candid, and focused on capturing real moments rather than overly posed photos. Of course, we did a few of those, but the candid shots are what truly stand out — the ones where you forget the camera’s even there. Everyone says the photographer is one of the most important vendors for your wedding, and I couldn’t agree more. Tia was absolutely incredible, and we can’t recommend her enough. Thank you, Tia, for capturing our day so beautifully and for being such a joy to work with!

A dad, a son, a brother and a jack of all trades musician that loves to rock out any chance I get. I grew up in New York City. My inclination towards photography came from classic street photography and photojournalists from all over the world that told their stories through a lens. It made me pick up a camera and start shooting. Now, living in Maryland I shoot all sorts of stories and moments locally, domestically, and abroad. It's taken me a while to figure out what my "thing" is but I've come to figure out that I'm a milestone photographer. The moments your life that have proven to be meaningful -- I'll be there.

If you're looking for a wedding photographer that will go above and beyond, Sam is your man. He was so much more than a photographer. We cared most about the small, beautiful, candid moments people share with one another on a wedding day and Sam captured all of it. He has a magical way of capturing emotions and making everything seem like it is in motion. We had a small family wedding and Sam immersed himself into the day and our families. It was so wonderful. He did the work of three photographers and I'm still not sure how he accomplished it all! More than that, he was there for every little thing we needed. Extra bluetooth speaker? Sam was on it. Hep with boutonnieres? Sam was on it. The photos made us cry and captured the day perfectly. I am so grateful we were one of the few wedding Sam photographed in 2025. If he's available, book him right away!

I'm Barbara, an adventurer and passionate about life and the world we live in. I’ve lived in 4 different countries so far and I’m currently living in Maryland with Darrion, the love of my life. We met in 2008 in Prague. It was definitely one of those love-at-first-sight cliché stories. I’m such a romantic! I believe in fairy tales, love candle-lit dinners and dancing to Van Morrison under a starry sky.

We cannot say enough good things about Barbara and her photographs. From day one of my wedding planning process, Barbara was my top choice for a photographer. Her candid photos and gorgeous editing style drew me in immediately. Barbara took our engagement photos and photos of our wedding day. We had a micro wedding of only 21 people, so it had a very cozy feel which Barbara captured perfectly. Barbara fit right in with our family and friends. Everyone loved her. She captured the most intimate and lovely photos of our wedding day - we are so thrilled with the results. BOOK BARBARA!!

You can just feel how much she cares about your day and bringing your vision to life. She brought props for the detail photos that I would have forgotten about. Was on board for a last minute decision to do a photo race to get photos with all 220 of our guests. I explained a confetti photo I wanted to Brittany in our very first call and I am ecstatic how it turned out and how she really captured us throughout the day. I felt supported by her, knew what phase of the process we were at at all times (even with her having a baby a few months before my wedding) and her professionalism on the day of the wedding were exactly what you want and expect when hiring someone to capture your memories. Krystina was amazing to work with! She arrived early to the first location for shooting and acclimated herself with the area before getting started with photos. She did not need to be directed where to go, she knew where to go and what to do. She suggested and executed some great solo portraits and pictures with my mom and wedding party. At the wedding itself, she took excellent photos while at the same time not being in the way — my family commented how they didn’t even notice her taking pictures most of the time. The pictures we received were incredible, exactly captured our special day. I highly recommend her!

My work lives somewhere between fine art and documentary. I love sitting in quiet observation. Capturing the way clouds drift above a ceremony, the hush of a foggy morning, candlelight flickering after the sun has set. But it’s not just about the setting; it’s about the feeling. How you look at the people you love. The stillness in serene moments. The way the light falls as you hold each other, married and in love. I adore the small moments. Ones that feel personal and unposed. The kind of images that, years from now, take you right back to how it felt. I’m so glad you’ve found my work. I’d be honored to tell your story.

From the moment we booked Nessa K, she was a dream to work with. Her communication was quick, knowledgeable, and kind, putting us at ease throughout the entire wedding planning process. Hi hello, I'm Devon! My pronouns are they/them, I change my hair a lot, and I've been a full-time photographer since 2011. Behind the camera I craft images that show the heart and soul of the fabulous people, places, and things I’m working with. When not photographing you’ll find me swing dancing, road tripping, or curled up at home with a book in one hand and mug of tea in the other.

Devon was delightful to work with throughout our entire engagement and wedding processes. We loved working with Devon because of the way they took the time to get to know us, which allowed them to showcase our quirks and love for each other as a couple and the joy among our wedding guests in every photo. Devon is an excellent photographer for people who are shy in front of a camera. Rather than just posing us, Devon used a relaxed, conversational approach and creative tricks to help us naturally settle into smiles and body language that truly make our photos look like us. We could honestly feel Devon’s excitement to celebrate our love through their work. Devon was clear, supportive, and transparent throughout every step of the planning process, from pricing to developing a photo list and schedule of events for the day. They were responsive and easy to talk to, and they returned our photos promptly. We can’t recommend Devon enough, and we can’t wait for our next opportunity to work with them again!

I'm a Baltimore Wedding Photographer who loves people, love stories, wedding cake, and of course - taking magical images! I serve Maryland and surrounding areas including PA, VA, and DE. I will absolutely travel for destination weddings and elopements!

Awarded Best of Zola
From the introductory phone call to the delivery of our prints, a canvas, and a beautifully personalized thumb drive with all of our wedding photos, Kimberly absolutely exceeded all of our expectations. Our engagement shoot (which we were both incredibly nervous for) was a blast. Kimberly put us right at ease and her eye for finding a variety of backdrops was impressive! She was an integral part of the planning process, helping organize a timeline as well as a list of group shots. Kimberly was quick to respond to communications and helped talk us through planning for rain when our weather forecast was less than optimal. If you are considering including your dog in your day - Kimberly is the photographer for you. One of our favorite parts about working with Kimberly was the next day sneak peek- we got to relive our day right away!

Emma is a professional photographer based out of Baltimore County who has captured couples' big day since 2020. While she primarily serves Maryland and Pennsylvania, Emma is a huge travel bug and hopes to one day visit all 50 states!

From the moment we first discussed our wedding with Emma from Stay Subtle, we knew we had found our perfect photographer. Her collaborative and caring approach made us feel like our vision and priorities were her own. Emma's professionalism, experience, and confidence put us completely at ease, ensuring all the special moments were captured beautifully. The results exceeded our expectations. The shots are breathtaking, and we're still in awe of them years later. Emma's attention to detail and genuine pride in her work was felt throughout the entire day and in every photo she so thoughtfully delivered (which was so much sooner than we were expecting). She went the extra mile and did some really creative edits that we requested long after our big day, which was so appreciated. If you want to book a wedding photographer you can feel 100% confident in, look no further. We couldn't recommend Emma more highly.

Sawyer Shepard (he/him) is an award-winning wedding photographer with a passion for capturing authentic, emotionally rich moments. With over 100 weddings documented across diverse communities, Sawyer brings a documentary-style approach that blends artistic creativity with genuine storytelling.

Working with Sawyer was an amazing experience. We booked Only1shot for both our engagement shoot and wedding and Sawyer made the whole experience extremely personalized and special. He listened to all the details that were important to us and brought it out in our photos. He also gets amazing ideas for poses in the moment that created some of our favorite photos. My wife and I can’t rave enough about this vendor and would recommend Only1Shot to anyone!
