I absolutely love my job, and I enjoy every aspect of being a wedding DJ/MC. In my job, I get to work from home all week and spend time with my family. I started my DJ career in 1994 in College Station, Texas in Northgate. I have over 10 years of experience as a DJ and Master of Ceremonies. Lover of all things music... I fell in love with music when I first heard The Roots -"What They Do! " It captivated me and the beat had me hooked. I started making my own mixtapes and always wanted the music to never end. I continued to play for family and friends and zone out. Until one night with my brother, we spent hours playing classic hip hop and rap hits. I told myself that If i can do this off memory than mixing it together with a database of music would be simple.

Unfaded Brass Band is comprised of 10 members from New Orleans and surrounding areas that have assembled together to incorporate elements of hip-hop, jazz, soul, and pop music and added the brass band framework to it. . The band has members from Mississippi, but most were born and raised in New Orleans. After being displaced by Hurricane Katrina in 2005, members of the band fled to Dallas and planted their roots within the city. In 2014, our founder, Jermaine Devezin saw the need to bring the brass band culture to the Dallas area based on the growing number of fellow New Orleanians who along with the band now calls Dallas home. sband/
