I am a lover of all things music... I fell in love with music when I first heard The Roots - "What They Do! " It captivated me and the beat had me hooked. I started making my own mixtapes and always wanted the music to never end. I continued to play for family and friends and zone out. Until one night with my brother, we spent hours playing classic hip hop and rap hits. I told myself that If i can do this off memory than mixing it together with a database of music would be simple.

I specialize in blended weddings. While being raised in and around the city of St. Louis, the music was plentiful from both the East, and West coast along with some Southern influence. DJ Tone was one of the best bookings that we made for our wedding. Beyond everything he did to elevate our experience and that of our guests, it was his availability, attentiveness, and friendliness in the weeks and months leading up to the day of that really set him apart. He was always quick to pick up the phone for a friendly conversation, and at every point, we felt like we were having a meaningful dialogue that helped shape our dream event. At no point did it ever feel like he was pushing additional services that were unwarranted. Furthermore, he respected all of our decisions for what songs we wanted played and which ones we didn't, without ever feeling any judgment. Also, if you're having an indoor reception, we cannot recommend the lighting package enough! It took the room, and therefore the entire party, to the next level! Most importantly, he's just a kind, fun, and cool dude to work with!

DJ Tone was absolutely fantastic to work with for our wedding! Yes! Only if the bride and groom say so. There could be some requests outside the night's scope, but I listen to the couple and work it in if it's in the vibe.

Suited and booted at all times and dressed to the 9's. I prefer to be dressed as if I'm at the wedding. I like to blend in, heard but not seen.

Lover of all people. I've worked with Doorman to the CEO. Everyone has a "That's my Jam" song. And I don't discriminate, I play all genres of music and blend them to perfection.

I normally arrive at least 2-3 hours before any event to ensure any kinks that need to be addressed are taken care of prior to the start time.

I stay Litt!. Lighting can bring a lot of fun to your special day. Highlight your wedding in the color that you want. Get your dance floor jumping and blind the sun if need be. I also provide photo booths, dancing on the cloud, cold sparks (for entrance or exits), custom monograms, and much more!

I'm am located in the DFW-Metroplex. I travel all around. I also do destination weddings and out-of-state events as well. Those fees are addressed on a case-by-case basis.

Yes, I sure can. I can be set up for each event phase and ready to start on time without interfering with your guests.

Do your research, there's plenty of DJ's but none that play all the music you like! Sometimes for us as DJ's we try and play it all, but it helps when we know what lane to drive in. This is so we can set the vibe.

We start with a consultation about what it is you are wanting and make the necessary decisions on day One. Before we book anything, I make sure we are on the same page as for what your event is about, color scheme, wedding length, don't listen to Aunt Pat when she ask for the Microphone, etc. This can make a world of a difference in how your event can go. I try to have no Surprises!!!
