I am originally from Richardson, Texas and began playing violin at the age of eight after being inspired by a concert with a solo violinist on TV (many thanks, Mom, for getting me that first violin!) I continued to study classical music throughout most of my school and college years. Saroj James Hyoju, got into DJ industry upon walking into Latin club in Dallas, Texas in 2015. Coming from band background, he was surprised to see how people were moved by “Gasolina”, a reggaeton song. Observing how DJ was controlling the crowd’s energy while enjoying himself, this made him curious about club music genres, besides metal and rock. Following immediately, he hosted a Bring Your Own Beer (BYOB) house party, where 50 people showed up.
