My name is Mary Brunson, and I am a violinist with over 30 years of playing experience and 12 years in the business. I love bringing joy to others through my music! My repertoire spans everything from traditional classical music to Bollywood ballads, Mexican mariachi, pop, jazz, and global folk traditions. I can offer flexible, customized wedding music—perfect for unique requests or nontraditional selections. I play for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, receptions, proposals, anniversary celebrations, corporate events, and more. I provide all of my own sound equipment and have audio samples on my website. I would love to work with you and create amazing music for your event!

I love the violin. I love being able to express myself on it and produce a beautiful sound. And there is little that is more rewarding than adding a touch of beauty and elegance to a couple’s wedding ceremony. Leading up to each wedding, I work closely with each client, being receptive to their desires and tailoring their wedding music accordingly. My rates are affordable, and I provide a customer service experience that makes the process of selecting wedding music easy and fun!

    Wedding music

    We hired Mary to play during our ceremony and cocktail hour, and she was absolutely fantastic! From our first conversation all the way through the wedding day, she communicated with us quickly and stayed consistent with every detail we discussed. Her playing was beautiful and really set the right tone for our celebration. She came prepared and organized, making sure everything ran smoothly without us having to worry about a thing. What stood out most was how sincere she was about making our day special—she genuinely cared about getting it right.     Professional and Gracious

    I reached out to Mary after a quick search on Google for a local violinist. We didn’t have much time to the event day and Mary was one of the first to respond, quickly. Thank God for that because she was amazing! She sent her list of music, stayed in constant communication, showed up dressed perfectly for the event, played so beautifully and was so gracious to us. We are grateful to her for being with us for our special night, a surprise proposal. We will be using Mary again for the big day!

Absolutely! If there’s a song you know and love that has a recording (and preferably sheet music), I will take it upon myself to learn it!
My attire typically consists of a long black dress or skirt + blouse, but I will happily vary it up based on a client’s preference!
I come 1-1.5 hours early to set up and meet with coordinators and others assisting with the wedding as necessary.
Absolutely! I am happy to learn music from any region and have extensive experience playing music from all over the world!
