The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. Our guests told us that they absolutely “loved our DJ” and we couldn’t agree more!! My main wish was to have everyone on the dance floor all night and thanks to Brendan’s playlist, our guests were dancing all night long. My dad worked with Brendan to come up with a mashup of songs that meant a lot to us from my childhood for the father/bride dance. The mashup had smooth transitions and it was very specially made. Brendan was conscious of our song requests and made our vision come to life from walkout songs to parent dances, group dances, cake cutting song, to final song of the night. The phone app that Brendan uses to organize your night is easy to use and allows you to personalize your night to absolute perfection as you prepare for the day. We selected the photo-booth package as well and the pictures came out phenomenal. The photos were of the highest quality and it is something we’ll have forever to cherish the night and our guests. From day 1 he was so easy to work with and very personable. We had a phone call with him to start and it felt like talking to a friend. He is such an outgoing and great dude. He takes the initiative and always follows up on emails and confirming everything is perfect. We highly recommend visiting him at his office for the second meeting instead of a call/virtual. We had a great time chatting and joking while listening to music with him in person. He gave recommendations on mom/son dance, first dance, father/daughter dance etc. We listened to a ton of music and just hung out for awhile. He performed at Lakeview Pavillion and had a beautiful setup in the corner of the smaller sized ball room and was very professional. His 2 staff members were great as well. He mc’ed the event and knocked it out of the park… Ask Jon to do the towel/guests dancing around the chairs game and thank me later! It’s been 4 months and guests are still saying how much fun they had at our wedding and that the music was dead on ALL night! Jon is the man for your wedding. “We could rave about DJ Thrilla all day long, but in the words of our wedding guests: “Best dance floor we’ve seen in a long time!” It’s been weeks since our wedding and our guests can’t stop talking about how great the music was. Arthur did a great job with the ceremony and cocktail hour, and managed a tricky parent dance section (multiple sets of parents & timing!) We requested a Taylor Swift mashup and he exceeded expectations and made it the highlight of our night. The dance floor was always packed, and Arthur did a great job of taking into account our requests while playing music everyone would enjoy. We opted to use uplighting as well, which looked beautiful during dinner (we chose a warm lighting) and was so fun for the dance floor with flashing lights. By the end of the night, he even had guests asking him to travel to Texas to DJ their wedding! Booking DJ Thrilla was one of the best vendor decisions we made for our wedding and we could not recommend him more!”

“We booked Collins Entertainment for our October wedding at the Interlaken Inn in Lakeville, CT. We had an unbelievably amazing experience with this company from the top to the bottom. Our DJ, Jared, was exceptional with music selection, a master emcee, was accommodating and seemed to be everywhere at once. My guests left saying he was the best DJ they've ever seen at a wedding for how many hits he put out. He was able to read the crowd really well, and knew how to get everyone on the dance floor. Jared had battery-powered setups for both the ceremony and reception, so we didn't have to worry about outlets in a remote area outdoors, which was very nice. Our planning sessions with Jim, Mitch, and Jared were comprehensive and they gave us all the tools we needed to succeed. The package price was very reasonable too, and was a leading factor for why we chose them as well. We used their mirror photo booth as well, which was very fun. The mirror booth even came with a long red carpet! The operator, Randall, was very accommodating and helpful with guests, making it fun and easy for everyone. We highly recommend Collins Entertainment!”
