We LOVED having our wedding at Stroudsmoor, and my husband and I are so grateful we chose them for our wedding day. We got married at Ridgecrest venue and had Malia as our coordinator. Not only was she SO helpful and communicative leading up to the big day, on our wedding day Malia ensured that the staff and other venders were coordinated and on schedule and managed all kitchen/food service as well. Every staff member at Stroudmoor demonstrated quality service, professional conduct, and incredible kindness and consideration for not only my husband and I but for our entire bridal party and guests. My guests were all raving about the hors d'oeuvres - many people telling me they're the best they have ever had, and can confirm they were all delicious. We cannot say enough great things about this venue. (also Ridgecrest was STUNNING, the landscape and setting is beautiful for photos)

I worked together with Olga at Mountain Pearl for a styled photoshoot we did together this fall. As a wedding photographer who has shot hundreds of weddings in the area and beyond, I highly recommend them. The venue is beautiful and modern inside- a blank canvas for many different wedding styles. The outdoor area is stunning with mountain views, gorgeous blooms in season, a pond, greenhouse and tons of picturesque spots for photos! My favorite area of the venue was the greenhouse which (I think) is very unique to the area and the perfect spot for a microwedding, a ceremony or even a cocktail hour area. Mountain Pearl is a family run venue and you can tell they go above and beyond for anyone who visits. Olga and her family treated every vendor on site with such care and kindness. I can’t wait to go back for another wedding in the future! 10/10 recommend!!!

We had a June wedding and it was absolutely amazing. The entire team is very attentive, professional, and make you feel like family. We had an unfortunate weather mishap and had a terrible downpour of rain just before our ceremony which meant we had to switch our ceremony to inside the barn instead of by the creek. I was so upset because they made it look so beautiful out there and I was really looking forward to our peaceful Creekside vows but Jessie handled everything so effortlessly and kept me at ease through the process. Everything went off without a hitch and to this day our guests all talk about how beautifully done everything was and how they really felt like it was very well put together. We stayed in the yurt on our wedding night and it was so peaceful and beautiful as well. We keep saying that we need to book it sometime so we can spend more time there. If you are thinking about booking your wedding here, do it. It is very well worth it. Maybe we will have a vow renewal one day here so I can do that by the Creek!

If you are looking for a blank slate to create your own dream reception/wedding experience in a vintage historical setting then the Sherwood Inn is the perfect place for you. Literally a beautiful classic venue with such potential to make any brides dream come true. We rented the entire hotel for our reception all 19 rooms and it was perfect for our guests. The bridal suite room is beautiful with a whirlpool tub and was perfect for my wedding party to get ready for the ceremony in. Our ceremony was elsewhere but I could see someone have everything right at the Sherwood and it being completely beautiful. Greg was absolutely wonderful to work with. There are 2 venues to choose from a formal venue room on the 1st floor and a basement bar venue which we rocked and danced our reception into the early morning hours. The photos are to die for trust me!! And, the town of Greene is wonderful and welcoming.

We recently held our daughters wedding in the NY Catskills, during the 2025 Fall Foliage season. Our daughter created a cohesive vision that would be embedded throughout all of the wedding events (Rehearsal Dinner; Welcome Party; Wedding Day Ceremony & Reception; After Party and finally the Farewell Brunch). Her goal was to strike that unique vibe and ensure that every guest walked away from the weekend with a long lasting memory that differentiated the experience from most traditional weddings. Coordinating a wedding in the Catskills takes a lot of planning and coordination to deliver that unique experience for guests traveling from all over the country, especially when the attention for detail is a priority. One of the best decisions we made, was to choose French Woods Farmhouse, to be the venue to start & end our wedding weekend. French Woods Farmhouse was the venue for our Welcome Party as well as for our Farewell Brunch. The Welcome Party & Farewell Brunch at French Woods Farmhouse, exceeded our expectations in kicking off the wedding weekend & wrapping it up. The property & layout was so conducive for our Welcome Party & Farewell Brunch goals, in getting our guests quickly immersed into a Catskills Wedding vibe. Some of the featured highlights included: - Full Cocktail Bar - Live Music - Curated Catered Food with Service - Random Gathering Spots for Mingling, Eating & Drinking (including tables, seating, as well as space within their newly renovated barn) - Spontaneous Lighting Elements (on driveway, pond, trees) - Continuous Video Clips, projected on to the side of the barn - Massive Fire Pits for chilling & watching the stars (this was a HUGE hit) And all showcased on a meticulously manicured property that provided our guests with epic views of clear skies, rolling hills, foliage changing landscapes & ponds, all in a secluded space from the rest of the world! All of this would not be possible without the continuous orchestration with the owners of French Woods Farmhouse (Bruce & Denise). Throughout the entire planning process, they were in constant contact with us, as well as coordinating several visits to fine tune all of the details including reviewing various property visuals, layouts & configurations. (They literally created backup layouts as well, in the event of bad weather) They also are well connected in the area, in terms of services, rentals & activities, so when it came time to finalize the many details, they made it SO easy & frictionless. It was incredibly helpful to have their help in coordinating various aspects (eg., rentals, catering, servers, restroom trailers, cleanup crews, parking). While we leveraged French Woods Farmhouse for the Welcome Party & Farewell Brunch, in hindsight we should have also considered the Rehearsal Dinner and After Party events at this venue as well! The space is very dynamic to setup differently for each event scenario. FYI… We also happen to rent the main house for 8 of us to stay for the entire weekend. The attention to detail shown throughout the entire property is impeccable & impressive. The house is WELL stocked with all your needs, anticipating all scenarios & questions one would encounter while staying at their gorgeous home & property. (We also loved the farmhouse décor) Overall cleanliness… the entire house was extremely clean upon stepping in on our first day. Its clear that they prioritize this, as if they were staying themselves.

Our wedding was originally planned for May of 2020. Pre-COVID, Ashley was very communicative and answer every question timely making us elated with our venue of choice. Once COVID hit we had to adjust our wedding timeline to July. Ashley went above and beyond to help us make all accommodation changes. She kept us informed of protocol and helped us ensure we could still have our wedding while following all safety measures needed for COVID. While our wedding had many bumps, none of them were because of the Anthracite Center and if we needed a redo, we would chose them over and over again.

Having our wedding at Handsome Hollow was an absolute dream. Kate and her team are professional, thorough, and beyond helpful before and on the day of the wedding. The location and grounds are stunning! We chose to have our ceremony in the fern forest a little ways up from the barn - it's like walking into a fairytale. The barn is a beautiful reception space that's open, inviting, and even more magical after sunset under the glowing string lights! We had a few guests including a couple of our family members who required assistance walking at certain times, but that was not a problem at all... The team communicates like special special forces to make sure everyone is comfortable and anyone requiring assistance gets shuttled swiftly by an off road buggy wherever they need to go! We also got shuttled as Bride & Groom does have it's privelages :) It was such a relief to know everyone was taken care of. Staying in the guest house was fantastic. The morning of the wedding I got ready upstairs in the barn loft, while my wife had the farmhouse the with hair/makeup and all of that. It's such a cute house, and was so nice to not have any traveling before our big day. Everything you would need is stocked at the farmhouse and help always seemed readily available if needed. It was just the relaxed easy going atmosphere we needed to chill out as much as possible before the wedding. There are so many great nooks and places for photo ops at Handsome Hollow! For a summer day it wasn't too hot at all, maybe the elevation helps a bit with that! It was warm before the ceremony when we took some photos in the sun, but we just cooled down in the farmhouse afterwards. The ceremony in the fern garden was under cover of trees so it was perfectly cool (both temperature and vibes!) The barn just seems to stay cool also, so that was no issue at all. We didn't get a chance to eat our desserts, so the team brought them up to the farmhouse for us to enjoy after the wedding was over. It's that level of hospitality, and so appreciated. My only regret is that I couldn't split myself into two people so I could not only get married, but also see the food buffet, see the s'mores by the campfire, watch our first dance (we nailed it!!). Luckily we had a phenomenal wedding planner (Lauren / Wild Blooms Bridal), and phenomenal photographer (Joshua Brown) to compliment the venue! It was truly an amazing day, and we can't thank you enough. You cannot go wrong with Handsome Hollow!!!

Wildflower on Watts is pure magic. Choosing this venue was THE best decision we made! Bethany, the truly one-of-a-kind owner, went above and beyond from start to finish to ensure Rob and I had our absolute dream wedding. Wildflower on Watts is pure magic. Bethany, the truly one-of-a-kind owner, went above and beyond from start to finish to ensure Rob and I had our absolute dream wedding. We thought it would just be “fun” to get married near our lake house, and we never expected the venue to feel this special to us! But it became so much more than we could have imagined. It beautifully combines rustic charm with modern touches and truly felt like the perfect mix of everything we wanted - almost as if it had been built just for us. The venue itself is perfect, but having Bethany with it makes the experience extraordinary. She made everything so easy and fun throughout the planning process up to the actual day. Bethany answered every single question with kindness, flexibility, and creativity, making sure no detail was overlooked. On the day itself, we felt completely at ease and able to soak in the pure bliss. Because of the gorgeous landscaping and size of the property, it feels like multiple venues in one. The spaces flow perfectly from ceremony to cocktail hour to dancing, giving every part of the day its own magic. Wildflower on Watts wowed every single one of our guests - they couldn’t stop raving about the stunning barn, the unique ceremony structure, and the way the flowers and natural surroundings created the most beautiful setting. Wildflower on Watts is simply our slice of heaven, and it was the most special backdrop to share with our closest people. If I could get married here a million times over, I would!!!

  • Space for a large guest list
  • Versatile for various event styles

Venue considerations

  • On-site parking not available
  • Lighting and sound are not included

The Villa Roma truly offers a fully customizable bridal package. We were allowed to bring our own decor as well as borrow some too. You have several choices on ceremony locations. The Villas are a bit outdated and we had some plumbing issues, however maintenance was quick to respond. The reception hall is very nice and large, you can fit 100 people no problem. Again, fully customizing settings, decor and table placements. Cheryl is the events coordinator for the entire resort. Since she is in charge of all the events, she definitely has a full plate. If you are looking for a day of coordinator that can walk you through each second of the day, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to hire outside the Villa. If you are a type A planner, it would be my recommendation that you frequently email and coordinator with the team at the Villa. Cheryl was very accommodating and even moved our ceremony location an hour before starting, due to concerns with the weather. Alicia, who is the head bartender, stepped in and helped decorate, helped direct staff during the wedding day and she made the best signature drinks ever! She even popped in at our after party for more congrats! If you’re organized and know what you want, the possibilities are endless here. The views are beautiful, the food fantastic and the wait staff very helpful. I would recommend this venue.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Unique barn setting

Venue considerations

  • Not for you if you are looking for something nontraditional
  • Does not allow pets
  • Venue feels large for events with small guest lists
I never would have thought about having my wedding here, at a "ski resort." We are not skiers. What drew me here was a picture!! The inside of the Tent (seasonal location) was breath taking!! We were scrolling and clicking on EVERY venue listed. NOTHING had that "oh la la" appeal. My FH went to bed and I kept looking. Then, I came upon GP. The next evening I showed him and he said, "If you want it then let's make an appointment!" So I reached out and left a message. The Wedding Events Coordinator (Chelsea) got back to me in a timely manner and we set up a meeting. She showed us around to their other locations on site. Then we went into the Tent. And it was ABSOULTELY BREATH TAKING when we were inside!! It was definitely LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!!!!! Chelsea talked to us about what GP has to offer, as far as wedding packages, etc. We booked GP by the end of 2021; and we just got married last month! In order to have your date, the venue and at the exact location on premises you want- you need to book ASAP!! Chelsea is an EXTREMELY busy woman with a lot on her plate!! I do think she needs an assistant especially around wedding season!! Lol!!! Chelsea does a wonderful job by herself, even though she does have a "team" that does wonders too!! She helped us through the whole process and gave some personal insight. She's very thorough with every single detail. She was AWESOME to talk to, deal with and plan with!!!! The food was AMAZING!!! Our guests couldn't stop raving about their appetizers during cocktail hour, the main meal for the reception (we picked out Country Side Glam Buffet), their cocktails, their rooms, and just the ATMOSPHERE itself is enough! The staff also plans meals for food allergies- a lot of other venues don't cater to this! Inside the Tent, it didn't feel like you were in a Tent. Don't judge a book by it's cover! Lol! We were the only wedding there on our day, so that definitely made it feel more special and enjoyable! We enjoyed working with Chelsea, the staff and Greek Peak!! The prices were extremely affordable! Some of my family and guests didn't REALLY want to travel 1.5 hours (minimum). After the wedding, they understood why we chose to have our wedding at Greek Peak. We, our families and friends, and other guests would HIGHLY RECOMMEND GREEK PEAK for a wedding, a getaway, a honeymoon. You name it!! Thank you so much Chelsea, Greek Peak's staff & Greek Peak!!!!! Our Wedding Day was PERFECT!!!!!!!!

The moment we stepped onto the property at Stonewall Estate, we knew instantly that it was where we wanted to get married. We had been searching for a venue that we could call our own for the entire weekend—somewhere our family and bridal party could stay together on-site—and Stonewall delivered this perfectly. The estate house and cottage created the ideal setting for a full wedding-weekend experience. Melanie and Steve have their venue down to a science. Their attentiveness, organization, and genuine care made our planning process smooth and stress-free. We never hired a wedding planner because we truly didn’t need one—Melanie was on top of every timeline and detail from start to finish. When we couldn’t get a hold of our caterer, she stepped in immediately and helped us navigate the situation without hesitation. On the wedding day, Melanie and Steve brought our vision to life flawlessly. Even when our buses ran behind schedule, Melanie remained calm, collected, and reassuring, making sure everything still stayed perfectly on track. There were moments when I needed something as simple as my jacket—and somehow it would just appear. Melanie anticipated every need for us, our families, and our bridal party, while Steve worked seamlessly behind the scenes to keep the entire event running beautifully. We were fortunate enough to experience Stonewall Estate as guests before our own wedding, and even then, Melanie and Steve were incredibly attentive. Knowing that this level of care carries through for every event made us even more confident in our choice. Our wedding day was truly perfect, and we owe so much of that to Stonewall Estate. We cannot recommend this venue—and Melanie and Steve—highly enough. It is a magical place run by exceptional people, and we feel so grateful to have celebrated our day there.

My husband and I got married at The Arnold House on December 7, 2024, and it was truly the most perfect winter wedding weekend—we wouldn’t change a thing! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the venue, with many comparing it to something straight out of a Hallmark movie. The property is absolutely magical. From the moment we visited, we fell in love with The Arnold House and knew we couldn’t wait to share it with our loved ones. The food, the ambiance, the cozy spaces throughout the property, and the beautifully appointed rooms all contribute to making this venue one-of-a-kind in the Catskills. The entire staff was amazing—everyone, from the wonderful kitchen team to the bartenders (shoutout to Kyle!), the front desk crew, and all the behind-the-scenes staff—went above and beyond to make our day special. A huge thank you to Emily & Will, who were absolute rockstars! They helped bring our vision to life with their organizational skills and attention to detail, guiding us every step of the way from the minute we booked to the day after the wedding. Everyone made sure that everything was perfect! We stumbled upon The Arnold House through Instagram in February 2024, and after visiting for lunch at the tavern the very next day, we were sold. The winter vibe, the barn, the greenhouse, cozy indoor fires, and outdoor firepits were everything we had dreamed of for our wedding. We visited again in the summer and fall, and no matter the season, The Arnold House always leaves you eager to plan your next visit. TLW was the absolute best venue for our wedding. They let us bring a bouncy house obstacle course onto the property, and even had a vendor recommendation. Throughout our literal hundreds of emails back-and-forth, they were professional, friendly, and prompt in their reply. Our guests had so much fun, and TLW did a fantastic job accommodating our guests' various dietary restrictions. TLW also did a great job communicating with our other vendors. It was a dream to work with TLW - the food was delicious, all of their staff were friendly and welcoming, and the venue itself cannot be beat. The kids (and adults) had a wonderful time enjoying the goats on site, the swimming pool, and the go-karts! The go-karts are an absolute must-have add-on to any wedding, it is all anyone could talk about afterwards. It was so much fun! I also caught my first fish during my wedding weekend, and had an absolute blast! Thank you so much Justin for being such a great communicator and venue partner!
