“We hired Bunn DJ Company Virginia to DJ our 150-guest wedding. Frank was our DJ, and he did a wonderful job all day helping us to curate several different vibes for different parts of the evening. The online tools from Bunn DJ made curating and sharing a playlist of our favorite songs as well as what songs to use where (first dance, wedding party introductions, last dance, etc) a breeze as well as very user friendly. Frank was a great MC, and got 150 guests wrangled to several different rooms throughout the night between cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing (all in different parts of our venue)! He did a great job balancing songs for different age groups as well as when to let songs play out longer or mix into the next song more quickly if the crowd was not into it. He is a big reason our dance floor was packed all night long! We were very happy with Bunn DJ Company Virginia’s services and specifically Frank’s skill as a DJ. Also, if it is within your budget, get the club cannons. Firing those off on our dancefloor was pure electricity for the energy on the dancefloor!”

“As the Event Planner for a recent wedding, I had the complete joy and honor of working with Mo for several months. His attention to detail and everything regarding the music, sound and lighting was top tier!! He was very professional and well organized. He showed up on time and had plenty of time to get all of his equipment in place for the ceremony and reception. At one point during the planning process, he went above and beyond to meet with the Fire Marshall regarding the cold sparks because the Fire Marshall had questions about the venue. Mo became familiar with the couple and learned about them and their style of music that they loved and what their guest would enjoy. Once the party started, he kept the dance floor packed and read the room well. The Photo Booth was very modern, sleek and well ran by the attendant. It was aesthetically pleasing to the eye as to not take away from the other decor in the room. If you are trying to decide between Mo/Wanjama productions and another DJ, choose Mo!! You will not be disappointed and he will make the planning process and your life much easier!!”

“I was so thrilled to have found DJ Kash to help make our Sangeet a memorable experience for everyone! I found him through instagram, as one of the premier South Asian DJ's in the triangle area, and after listening to his sets, I knew he would be the perfect fit for our event. We reached out, and within a few weeks, we had a signed contract, he had added at my request, a Dholi and I felt that he would deliver even though we'd booked him over a year in advance. Kashif is professional, fun, and can read a crowd and vibe incredibly well. He blended western music with Bollywood hits and for our Sangeet he played a live, mixed set which was DOPE. Everyone loved the music and would not get off the dance floor. Additionally, he was incredibly flexible- I had literally no direction for him (mostly because I trusted him) and he was able to accommodate last minute requests without complaints. And thank you Kashif, for encouraging me to keep the Dholi, because between the two of you, the event was more memorable than I could have imagined. Kashif made the space beautiful with his uplighting, which was a welcome addition to his standard cost, and set up and tore down with no issue in a very busy downtown Raleigh venue. I would 100% use him again if I ever needed to. The music was phenomenal, bangers all night- and the talent was immense and clear. Thank you so much for making my wedding weekend so memorable!”

“I am writing this review about Sarah. First of all, she was so great at being responsive which right off the bat was a big deal for me. Planning a wedding is stressful but during our first initial meet through Zoom I was immediately put at ease. Second, booking her was extremely easy and fairly priced. Thirdly, she was on time and I balled my eyes out walking down the aisle to beauty and the beast. I've never heard the harp in person and it was an experience I will never forget. She made my event elegant and elevated in all the right ways. “It was meant to be for us to have Sam be the DJ at our nerdy chic wedding. On a sheer whim, we emailed him when it was clear our original plan of "oh we'll just make a few playlists" was absolutely not going to happen. Only 6 weeks out, and he was free on our date *and* had played the venue before! Fast-tracked our consult meetings, worked with us on our timeline for our very short ceremony and reception and overall had great tips and tricks. There were one or two moments during the wedding that were maybe hiccups (including me kicking the plugs out!) but he rolled with it, we rolled with it. He's so personable, everyone loved him - we're all transplants from NJ/ NY and turns out he's practically related to at least one of my family. For sure, would recommend him!”

“My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “DJ Motiv was extraordinary. I was so impressed by his professionalism, communication, and willingness to make sure our night was perfect. I was skeptical at first with some reviews mentioning that the DJ’s weren’t playing the songs they chose. I immediately reached out and that was informed that it would not be an issue. ALL of our chosen music was played, with some song requests of guests (with bride’s approval, per DJ motiv - loved that). DJ Motiv checked in with us constantly, even to make sure our food was at our table, if we needed drinks, if the music was going well, and if there was anything he could do. He was going above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. I even threw in special requests during my wedding, including him stopping my parent dance half way (on purpose) as if the music turned off, to take the mic and give a short speech. He did it phenomenally. I had a game request, with him being the commentator and director of, and he took that role and ran with it. The wedding guests LOVED him. I have nothing negative to say about his services. Even the photobooth was done great! I also had a custom sign made, with our new last name, and it was perfect! Such a great item to be able keep, and you get a year warranty on it. Anyway, I highly recommend this DJ!! He MADE our wedding perfect. Everyone loved him.”

“I was blown away by the talent of the musicians, they really take their craft seriously. I requested a Roaring Twenties theme from Louis Pettinelli and they went above and beyond to make it happen. The singer Karlea was phenomenal and did an amazing job of keeping our guests engaged and entertained. The musicians were all courteous, professional, and exceptionally talented. They dressed appropriately for our wedding theme and many of the guests at the Hawthorne Hotel wanted to take pictures with Karlea in her Twenties attire. In addition to being a wonderful experience, they were also a great value for the price. These are top quality musicians and we paid a reasonable price for the band. I highly recommend this group for your wedding.”
