I’ve been running Ridiculous Entertainment as my main business for 14 years. I picked up DJing as a hobby when I was in high school, falling in love with hip-hop and learning to scratch records. “Aran DJ’ed our wedding at a farm in November. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Before the wedding: He communicated clearly and responded quickly to all of our inquiries, usually responding within an hour to emails! He asked really clear and simple questions that helped us clarify our goals and needs. We gave him murky instructions since we were overwhelmed with all of the choices we had to make for the wedding, and he translated our vague thoughts into a straightforward timeline, plan for equipment, and playlists. He communicated with our other vendors efficiently to make sure everyone was on the same page. He even helped us figure out how one of our friends could play guitar on an amp while walking between the locations. At the wedding: Aran went above and beyond. He showed up early and DJed our outdoor cocktail hour as a bonus. He DJed our outdoor chilly ceremony and stepped in to fix last minute microphone and lighting problems. I heard from everyone that the audio was clear and at a good volume, which I was worried about because we had hard of hearing guests. At our reception, at our request he helped orchestrate an EPIC hora dance, one of the best ever. He then emcee’d the night’s flow, calling up each person to give a speech, calling tables to the buffet, etc, in a way that was subtle and efficient. And then the dance party… the dance party!!! It was so epic. Aran brought a cool multi-color light, and played all the hits, took requests, asked me (the bride) like one or two questions when he needed to, and was just really fun and lively and down for whatever the crowd wanted. Aran, we are so grateful to you for helping to make our special night so wonderful!!! Thank you!!!”

Our wedding DJ was Sean Markland and he was just phenomenal to work with. Prior to our wedding we had a lengthy call with Sean; my husband and I were very picky with our wedding playlist and had a rule of absolutely no traditional wedding reception songs or line-dances. We love electronic dance music (EDM) and wanted our wedding to be "festival/show vibes". We pretty much curated our own playlist of EDM, country, hip-hop, folk and I really wasn't sure how our guests would respond (and we really didn't care because it was our wedding), but the way Sean mixed and transitioned the songs and hyped up the dance floor kept the vibes going all night! We used Summit Events for our up lighting too - highly recommend as it was a great way to turn the room from a classy dinner reception to a dance party in one click! The sound quality was great for both speeches and music; we wanted to make sure guests could hear speeches clearly and we had no issues at all even though it was a large room. I also appreciated the Vibo app that we used to plan out our ceremony, entrances, first dances and our playlist for the night - it was a great tool that kept songs and notes in one place. We would definitely use Sean and Summit Events again and highly recommend them for the best night of your life!”

The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. “We had the pleasure of working with DJ Wong from MyDeejay. A quick review of MyDeejay: They were excellent to work with. They paired us with DJ Wong after we filled out a quick survey about the vibe we wanted for our wedding, and it was smooth sailing from there. It's clear from working DJ Wong that MyDeejay vets their DJs very well and ensures they're all professional and great to work with. Now for DJ Wong: He's got all of the main things you want in a vendor--professionalism, responsiveness, expertise, etc.), but he goes well above and beyond those standards. He provided ceremony music, background music, reception music, and uplighting, but that's just the starting point of everything he did for us. We were PICKY and we had A LOT of requests, and he accommodated them all flawlessly and eagerly. We requested he alter versions of some of our selected songs to adjust for timing, blending parts of songs together, and very particular transitions between songs. He made everything sound amazing! We had not 1, not 2, but FIVE choreographed dances throughout the evening, and he executed the timing of everything perfectly. The sound was incredible! In addition to that, because we were completely over-the-top for our wedding, DJ Wong so graciously and excitedly fulfilled our request to have KARAOKE at our reception. It was SO MUCH FUN!!! We had a very particular vibe in mind from our wedding--we wanted our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner to be classy and jazzy, and then for the reception dancing we wanted a mix of Pop anthems from the past 3 decades--DJ Wong understood the assignment perfectly! We were also at a very large venue and he had to provide sound across many different areas throughout the evening, but he came fully prepared and did an excellent job. We received so many compliments about the ambience for the entire evening, and we attribute that to him! On top of everything else, DJ Wong is an excellent MC and can read a room flawlessly. He kept the vibes up the entire evening, and struck the perfect balance of engaging with the audience and letting the music do the work. We are so grateful we had him for our special day!”

They were great Emcess and they even added some special non-traditional reception activities for us. “Jeff and his team (dalton and charleigh) were absolutely amazing!! I truly believe Jeff is setting up white rose to be different than any other DJ company out there. The whole process was so easy and straight forward. There were no questions because Jeff always made sure to go in great depth and detail. I had a song my parents used to sing to my brother and I and it was their own remix of 2 song and Jeff remixed it so they could have their reception entrance to the song. He also did a custom mix for the bridesmaids entrance. It was amazing!!! A little back story, my husband and I had booked a differnt DJ company (who I will not name) and the whole process felt very quick. There was no explanation, we never even got to talk to the DJ themselves to see if it was a good fit and I was so stressed. I work at a venue in the area and met Jeff and instantly fell in love with his whole process and how hands on he truly is. I joked about wishing I booked him and he was like hey I’m still available for your wedding date. So we got out of our old contract and signed a new one with jeff and we are so so glad we did! White rose productions is easily unlike any DJ company period. You actually get to know your DJ and team before the process really starts. They aren’t pushy and salesy trying to force you into a contract. Jeff actually encourages you to weigh out all your options. With a previous sales background I loveddddd that because it shows he truly only wants couples who see his vision and align well with him and his company. I would give them 100000/5 stars if I could. I wish I could get married all over again and have Jeff DJ. We got endless compliments and everyone loved the monogram projection and the photo booth he had. It truly added so much to the space. The cold sparks are amazing!! Jeff has top of the line cold sparks that won’t harm any guests so it was so nice not having to worry about guests possibly being injured by the cold sparks since I really wanted them!!! Every guest we talked to said they never heard a DJ that good and that we had the best music playing. THANK YOU WHITE ROSE PRODUCTIONS!!!! Ps. If you’re like me and had a specific point in a song that you want to walk out to and have it all timed perfectly, jed is amazing and making that happened. Happened at my own wedding and every wedding we’ve worked together, at the venue I work at!!”

He listened to every request we had leading up and I truly didn't think about a thing during the wedding day - he had our timeline completely under control and kept us on track (and if we were running behind I still have no idea because he's that good!!). The band is INCREDIBLE and had our guests on the dance floor all night!! I realized at the end of the night I never even changed out of my heels into my white sneakers because that would have meant leaving the dance floor. Our guests are still telling us how amazing the band was and several of them even got their card for their own events! Having Experience was the best decision we made!!
