“Madison photographed my destination wedding in Antigua in June of 2024 and I could not have asked for a better photographer! We had a unique request for only candid photos throughout our three nights of events (we wanted the only posed photos to be quick group shots with family and friends right after our ceremony). She was so excited by the idea and over-delivered on all our wishes. She captured so many candid moments of my husband and me, of us celebrating with our dearest friends and family, and special moments of our guests that we hadn't gotten to see. The photos came out so beautifully, it's hard to believe they were truly candid and unplanned. It was such a gift to have these memories preserved; going through our wedding albums was like re-living all three days because she captured us in the middle of the memories as we made them. She has such an incredible talent and ability to capture the essence of each person she photographs. Mallory’s Gallery

“One of the best decisions we made was hiring Mallory. We are "so-so" with the camera (not entirely shy but also "what do I do with my hands"- kind of people). Mallory was awesome to show some styles that she was thinking of and looked at some inspiration photos that we picked out (this was done way before engagement shoot and before our wedding day). She made our engagement session super relaxed and fun - her ability to capture "moments" of our relationship left us in awe. She would let us do our thing and then gently guide/direct us, which was exactly what we needed (some guidance with no "stiff" or "don't move" photos). Fast forward to wedding planning, we shared a brief list of "mandatory family photos" and she created a timeline (with our wedding coordinator's timeline) and we gave her full reign on creativity! Again, she excelled! She captured some beautiful moments and looking back - we could FEEL and remember those moments she captured. We are forever in awe of her talent and ability to capture our day. During our wedding day, we unfortunately had a nor'easter come through (some would say good luck) - so lots of rain. Mallory was beyond prepared. She brought us umbrellas (I had also gotten some) and she was quick to make changes as needed. We received SO many compliments on Mallory's work and how well she worked with our other vendors. Additionally, I appreciate that she never "stopped" our day - as in, interrupt what was happening to get a particular photo. Rather, she flowed with our wedding planner and found opportunities to capture literally so many beautiful moments! “Meaghan and Evan photographed our Halloween wedding and we couldn't imagine having anyone else! We met Meaghan and Evan last October when they shot our engagement photos. They were more than willing to trudge through our favorite park and stop at all our favorite spots to get some beautiful photos we used for our save the date. We got to get to know them a little more over at our favorite little ramen restaurant after the session and of course we were instantly sold! Meaghan was super communicative and responded to every email I sent her pretty much right away every single time. As we got closer to the wedding day, she sent an incredibly detailed questionnaire. It covered everything from our most important shots to what weird family dynamics she should be conscious of; we sincerely appreciated this level of care, especially as a queer couple with some iffy family things. When I was hiring vendors, it was extremely important to me to find vendors who were queer/queer friendly and body positive, and Meaghan checked off both boxes in spades. My wife and I both have huge body insecurities and are deeply self-conscious of photos-but Meaghan made us both feel so beautiful. I was never even aware of the parts of myself I am usually hyper aware of because Meaghan and Evan both made us feel so comfortable. We were able to laugh and feel every emotion without once worrying about how we would look in the photos. On the day of, Meaghan kept us right on track without rushing us or making us feel stressed. We were definitely running behind at points but Meaghan handled it all with grace and helped me keep my head above water the whole time. “If you’re considering booking Polar Square Designs, just do it! Kate was so responsive, professional, helpful and flexible. Neither my husband nor I love having our photos taken (especially in public) but Kate made us feel totally comfortable on our engagement shoot at the beach and we ended up with some incredible shots. The turnaround time to get our whole gallery back was so quick. Leading up to our wedding, Kate’s questionnaire helped us nail down what shots we really wanted and the timeline she came up with was very helpful! On our wedding day, Kate and the second shooter Allison worked together so well and made sure we got all the shots we wanted!
