Hej, I’m Anders, originally from Denmark, I made the move to the United States in 2019 to marry my wonderful wife, Kristin. Photography has always been a passion of mine, and I've coupled that with my love for adventure. Whether it's traveling the world, scuba diving, hiking, or ultra running, I've always found ways to incorporate photography into these experiences. However, everything changed for me when I shot my first wedding. Being part of such a special day, filled with love and magic, made me realize that this is what I truly want to do.

I captured my first wedding in August of 2018, it was the day I fell head over heels in love with wedding photography. It's all about capturing the love story for me..the feels from beginning to end. When you book with AGS, you're signing on for an adventure. Your engagement session is a celebration full of us getting to know one another, lots of laughter, and having fun! As your wedding nears closer AGS will help with your timeline, connect with your vendors ( or introduce you to some of the best) and help plan out the perfect photo locations, along with any other needs to create the perfect day.

I work to craft images about connection - photographs that have warmth & tell a story about the love you share as a couple or as a family. I believe your wedding photos should stand the test of time. Shooting weddings is what brings me the most fulfillment and joy. It is pretty amazing when your passion can become your career. I have a lot to offer, and I do things differently than most other photographers. More than anything, I want to make sure I’m the perfect fit for your wedding. My style and approach is a generous mix of documentary and editorial-style portraiture. For the majority of the day, I stay very hands off, focusing 100% on the story. You won’t find me asking you or your friends to stage or recreate moments, but you will find me ready to capture those moments before they even happen. During portraits, it’s a little different. I give plenty of direction, working to bring creative ideas and poses to make images that are as unique as the people in them.

With a professional journey that began in high school, capturing memories for the yearbook, my career has since flourished to include some remarkable milestones. Hello! I am Mackenzie. I have been a photographer for over 10 years now and have loved every single second to of it. I live in Villa Park but shoot all over the Chicagoland area and have travelled all over the country for weddings and events! My husband is usually my second shooter and I feel so lucky I get to work with him. I am all about murder mystery novels, Harry Potter and Jurassic Park. I have tattoos and pink hair and love color which I think shows up pretty vibrant in my work!

I'm at peace in the mountains, or anywhere with a breeze on my face. But I also love sitting on the couch sandwiched between my husband, dog, and two cats.

I’ll start off by saying, I’m not nearly as intimidating as my name. In winter of 2017, I married my best friend & now we live in a sweet little suburb just an hour outside of Chicago enjoying the views & peacefulness of living a bit more rural. Our fuzzy puppies Willow & Watson, (Wheaten Terriers who think they're human) love it too! 13 years of wedding experience has prepared me to capture your most cherished moments and turn them into heirlooms.
