My name is Abby, owner of Wren and Rose Photography! I am based in the western Chicago suburbs and I am all capturing authentic moments and good vibes. I like to say that I am the wedding photographer for the rad souls and the groovy lovers, but truly everyone is welcome here. When it comes to my approach to wedding photography, I am big on really getting to know you two, learning about your love story, understanding your vision, and working collaboratively to ensure your day is as stress free as possible. I may be your wedding photographer, but relationships are so important to me with each client I work with.

When it comes to my style and my approach, I am super inspired by the 1960's and 1970's with a modern twist. I have a documentary style where you are able to look back on your wedding photos and they tell your story about your wedding day. Each client gallery is unique to every couple I work with (because being like everyone else is totally overrated). To me, my couples come first always. Your day, your way...always!

Abby is amazing!!
We were so lucky to have Abby from Wren and Rose Photography capture our wedding day. She showed up genuinely excited to be there and jumped right into shooting, which set the tone for the whole event. What impressed us most was how she anticipated what we needed—even though we had a small wedding without a formal schedule, she knew exactly which moments to capture and how to position us to get the best shots. She nailed all the detail photos we wanted and was quick to make any adjustments we asked for. Abby was responsive throughout the entire process and her editing came back fast. THE BEST
Abby was absolutely wonderful every step of the process for our wedding! I loved her energy and excitement for us and the process from just getting to know us over the phone, to working together in person. We weren’t going to do an engagement shoot, but as time went on we started getting FOMO and asked Abby if she could accommodate it last minute. She made it happen and the pictures were amazing!! It got us so so pumped for the wedding day. She posed us when needed but also stepped away at just the right moments to capture sweet candid moments. Her and her team are considerate, polite, and skilled!!!! We are OBSESSED with our album. You cannot go wrong hiring Wren and Rose!

Engagement Photo Session
I actually came across Abby's portfolio during my wedding planning from her blog posts while I was in the early stages of planning. I came across her work and just thought WOW! Finally wedding/engagement photos that don't look like everyone elses, are beyond beautiful, and capture actual moments and emotions. I love that nothing looks overly staged and just looks so fun! I was a bit nervous like most who don't love their photos taken, and Abby took the time to chat with me before to come up with a quick game plan. I can't believe how many photos she was able to capture in an hour. She guided us so effortlessly through each pose and made us so comfortable! It could not have been easier and the photos came out amazing! We've had endless compliments and cannot wait to use Abby again for our next life milestone!

A Dream Photographer in Every Way
Abby was an absolute dream to work with and such a joy to be around. Not only did we love working with her, but our wedding party, family, and friends did too.
