Hey! I'm Mackenzie - mom, photographer, wife and book + latte obsessed! Ideal day starts with a latte and a bagel sandwich (because going out for breakfast is the BEST) and ends with a good book. Throw in a photoshoot or wedding in the middle and I'm set!! I have been a professional photographer for 14 years now focusing on couples, families and small businesses. I am not a fan of super stiff posing so I use prompts and play games to capture your personalties and relationships. For weddings, most of your gallery will consist of candid shots of your day helping to tell your story. I'd love to chat with you more!!

Recently I have been thinking that I am creating photos with feeling. That I capture how your day felt, who you are in this moment, what your relationship truly looks like with your partner. I want you to look back on your gallery and go "this is so us" or be surprised by all the other special moments I captured that you didn't even know were going on!

    Mackenzie is perfect and worth it!

    Mackenzie and her team were so amazing to work with! They made us all feel so comfortable, they were on top of lists of photos we wanted and could recall them from memory. We had such a fun time taking our pictures with them, they really got us laughing and feeling nice and chill in front of the camera and allowed for our photos to come out so perfect! Would recommend Mackenzie to absolutely anyone and everyone!

    AMAZING photographer. INCREDIBLE photos and videos

    Saying Mackenzie is amazing does not do her justice! I worked with Mackenzie for my engagement photos and my wedding day, and both rounds of photos and videos were breath taking. Mackenzie is so personable and her hard work shows in every aspect of her service. She worked with my husband and I to plan out a whole day of schedule for my wedding, just so we could be sure to get all the photos and moments we wanted. On our wedding day Mackenzie made photos so much fun for us, our wedding party, family, and guests. She was so knowledgeable and even timed out the most perfect golden hour portraits for us! I’m consistently blown away by her work and highly recommend her to anyone and everyone looking for a wedding photographer and videographer. I will cherish our photos and our wedding video montage forever! She’s simply the best!!

    Amazing Photographer!

    Both my husband and I are fairly shy people, and we were worried about going into our engagement session. Within minutes Mackenzie had us at ease and laughing. Mackenzie is such a kind and welcoming person. More than that though, her work is stunning. We were blown away with our engagement sessions and have been loving all the photos from our wedding. I highly recommend using Mackenzie, and I know I will continue using her for all future events!

You can expect about 60 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
Definitely. All final images in you gallery will be hand edited by me to match the editing style you see in my portfolio!
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
Couples book with me anywhere from 6 months to 2 years in advance. I always recommend that if you know your date and your venue, book your photographer as soon as you can. I am usually filling up my calendar a year out.
Heck yes! I travel all over Illinois for weddings and shoots as well as other states! Any place that is over an hour from Villa Park, IL will have a travel fee and possibly an hotel/flight fee.

In my 14 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
