“We booked Spike Events for our October wedding and Spenser was absolutely amazing! We had several meetings beforehand and he was on top of every concern we had. We had a wedding at a private residence outside, so electrical needs were tricky. Spenser was thorough in what he needed supplied from us and we were able to get the right electrical needs for both his sound system and the two arcade tables we rented. He also was such a fun personality to have around and added so much to the party! We have so many great photos of everyone up and dancing due to his skill of keeping things fun! He did a great job following our timeline and was very helpful in adding to it as needed when we weren't sure how to schedule things such as first dance, cake cutting and parental dances. We had aunts and uncles that I've NEVER seen dance, out on the floor tearing it up!You would not regret hiring this company! “Brian is one of the best wedding DJs in the business. In the past two years I’ve been to eight different weddings. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. He is an east coast DJ, but he spun tracks at both of my sister-in-laws’ weddings and as we were searching for a DJ for our own wedding we reached out just to see what he would charge for a wedding in Chicago. Turns out the price was right. Brian traveled to Chicago, MC’d our entire wedding, brought all of the equipment necessary and made our day exceptional in every way. I think there are a few things that really set Brian apart from other wedding DJs. Anyone can stand there and run through a playlist, but Brian went off book a few times to match and capture the energy of the guests. As we were in the midst of the planning process he added zero stress, and just calmly walked us through the process of selecting songs. He had suggestions and recommendations along the way. He even brought an extra speaker so that we could plug our digital piano in and the pianist would be able to play loudly enough. Overall, we can’t recommend Brian highly enough. You will not regret choosing him to DJ at your wedding, party, event. Whatever it is, Brian is a huge value add and a pleasure to work with.”

Sounds Buono is a boutique, modern DJ collective. Our company is based in the New England area, with a focus on unique weddings and events throughout the region. We’ve grown our outfit and are now comprised of a talented group of hand-selected artists, all special in their own right. We strive to surpass the typical DJ experience by combining vast musical knowledge, personality and style into one-of-a-kind yet inclusive performances. And you won’t find corny tunes, line-dancing or laser shows here (we’re sorry!) We want to offer something that’s a little different from the norm but still connects with you and all of your guests.

Since 2000, I’ve been lucky enough to work with some of the most amazing clients in Rhode Island on events both large and small. This experience and my passion for music has helped me evolve into one of the most skilled spinners around. DJ Náná was born in Cape Verde in the early 80s and migrated to the area in the late 90s. Náná started his DJ career in 1995, when he started performing for friends and family at parties and events.
