He performed at Lakeview Pavillion and had a beautiful setup in the corner of the smaller sized ball room and was very professional. His 2 staff members were great as well. “Brian is one of the best wedding DJs in the business. In the past two years I’ve been to eight different weddings. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. He is an east coast DJ, but he spun tracks at both of my sister-in-laws’ weddings and as we were searching for a DJ for our own wedding we reached out just to see what he would charge for a wedding in Chicago. Turns out the price was right. Brian traveled to Chicago, MC’d our entire wedding, brought all of the equipment necessary and made our day exceptional in every way. I think there are a few things that really set Brian apart from other wedding DJs. Anyone can stand there and run through a playlist, but Brian went off book a few times to match and capture the energy of the guests. As we were in the midst of the planning process he added zero stress, and just calmly walked us through the process of selecting songs. He had suggestions and recommendations along the way. He even brought an extra speaker so that we could plug our digital piano in and the pianist would be able to play loudly enough. Overall, we can’t recommend Brian highly enough. You will not regret choosing him to DJ at your wedding, party, event. Whatever it is, Brian is a huge value add and a pleasure to work with.”

He was extremely easy to work with, is very experienced, organized, personable and makes everyone feel special. Most importantly, Graeme is fun! He realizes the importance of weddings, despite how many he's done - and he took extra care in making ours special, memorable and personalized. There is no doubt he knows what he's doing, and he makes sure everyone is happy and having a great time. Not only does he take care of absolutely everything - he goes FAR above and beyond. We had my now sister-in-law and her husband sing our first dance song (they traveled from out of town) and Graeme was able to arrange a guitar to make it extra special and perfect - convenience for everyone! I also didn't know what my first dance song would be with my dad, because my dad was adamant about surprising me and ended up creating a "mash-up" of special songs from my childhood, and was only able to do this because of Graeme and his willingness to go above and beyond (and the "mash-up" was under 2 minutes, which I am SURE Graeme also helped direct ;) ) - Our wedding day simply would not have been the same without him. If you are looking for a DJ for your wedding, look NO further. From before the ceremony to "shutting the place down" he managed it flawlessly every step of the way and we are so thankful for him. Arthur did a great job with the ceremony and cocktail hour, and managed a tricky parent dance section (multiple sets of parents & timing!) We requested a Taylor Swift mashup and he exceeded expectations and made it the highlight of our night. The dance floor was always packed, and Arthur did a great job of taking into account our requests while playing music everyone would enjoy. We opted to use uplighting as well, which looked beautiful during dinner (we chose a warm lighting) and was so fun for the dance floor with flashing lights. By the end of the night, he even had guests asking him to travel to Texas to DJ their wedding! Booking DJ Thrilla was one of the best vendor decisions we made for our wedding and we could not recommend him more!”

With so much you have to pay for on this day it’s nice paying someone and feeling like your money is actually going to be used well with him. They arrived hours before the ceremony to set up. The hotel loved the company too and how polite they were. Josh came prepared with all the music we requested to hear that day. From the minute we walked down the isle to when everyone left. Josh kept playing amazing music. All night I wasn’t let down once by the song choice. In some areas the venue messed up on a few things. Example the cake cutting and first dance. The hotel really didn’t nail timing so josh Took complete control of the wedding and saved it truly. He made sure my cake cutting and first dance were memorable because the hotel slipped with this. Nothing like a DJ who saves the day too. The best part of it all while DJing Josh found time to take so many photos. He wasn’t asked or required to do so. He took it upon himself to take more professional photos for us. That’s what I call above and beyond. Couldn’t believe he went that far out of his way for us. Thank You josh and all of d and J entertainment. You made the Soares wedding the biggest success. We will never forget you or your amazing spirit and drive to make others day unforgettable.”

“The Hook Club was by far the coolest musicians I was able to find in terms of having an NYC night out vibe, and not a typical "wedding" vibe. We had a bass and guitar duo for our cocktail hour. They were super nice and awesome musicians. It started raining an hour into our cocktails so we had to move inside, and the bassist switched to playing a piano so that we could continue the music inside. Everyone was so impressed by how multi-talented they were!! Loved them and wish we had them play music for more of our reception. Dan, the founder, as well as the rest of their staff were incredibly organized and attentive throughout the planning process. Highly recommend!!”
