Anywhere near the ocean is where I like to be. I prefer historical places to modern venues, climbing stairs to elevators, and good puns over sounding sophisticated. Oh- and I usually make friends with the dog first. There is no destination too far or an idea too crazy—I have hung off the bow of sailboats, woke up at 3 am to film meteor showers and filmed backward on rollercoasters to document couples’ love stories.

After graduating from Parson's School of Art in Manhattan, I worked as a fine artist, my work involved photography and photo manipulation. I quickly discovered that I loved and excelled at photo retouching, and went on to work for some of the best photo retouching studios in New York. In 2009 I shot my first wedding, it was a dear friend of mine and the beautiful photos were featured in one of the biggest wedding magazines. I realized that I had found my calling and have been producing stunning wedding photographs with my amazing team and clients ever since.

Equipped with a BFA degree in photography and documentary production, a few cameras, and an old station wagon, I drove cross country from Utah to New York City in 2010. I went back to school for my MFA in photography at Hartford Art School and graduated in 2020.
