We’re Hungry Heart Films, a husband and wife wedding team in Chicago. We believe the best wedding films are unexpected and sincere, the kind of film that can transport you back to the feeling of that awesome day every time you watch it! Your vibe as a couple is unique and your wedding film should be too! We capture your day as it naturally unfolds, whether you're on the quiet side or throwing a rager to remember.

Our style is sincere and unembellished. We don't stage awkward poses or create moments that aren’t there. It’s our goal to capture the real connection between you, your partner, and your amazing family and friends.

We include everything you want from your wedding videography team like 8 hours of coverage and a beautiful, cinematic film of your day. Not only that, we’re also including a multi-camera, edited film of your entire ceremony with professional audio, a separate edited film of your toasts, all the raw footage from the day, and a nifty private online film gallery!

    We LOVE our wedding video!

    We LOVE our wedding video and we also loved working with Brian and Rebecca! Brian was so easy to communicate with during the planning and they were both so nice during our Zoom call! AND best of all, our videos are so much better than we even expected them to be, our main film is so beautiful. Thank so much again Brian and Rebecca!

    We highly recommend Hungry Heart Films!

    We're so happy we booked Brian and Rebecca of Hungry Heart!! They were both so open, honest, and answered all of questions before we even had a chance to ask them. We both don't love being in front of a camera and were worried about having both a photographer and videographer at the wedding, but Brian and Rebecca were so respectful of our space. They were the perfect combination of warm, approachable, and professional. Our final film is so beautiful, we've already watched it a million times. Thank you both so much!

We may be biased, but yes! After the vows have been exchanged and you’ve run out of steam on the dance floor, all that remains are the memories. While photography is crucial, it only captures single moments in time. A wedding film allows you to relive the emotions, sounds, and energy of a day that only happens once.
Our style is sincere and unembellished. We don't stage awkward poses or try to create moments that don't naturally exist. We document the real connection between you, your partner, and your amazing family and friends.
You'll always have both Brian and Rebecca, and over 10 years of film, photography, and design experience at your wedding as well as all of the high-end visual and audio equipment needed to produce an awesome film.
Our normal turnaround time is 12 weeks for all films. You can also add an expedited option which includes a super fast, 4-week turnaround. If you ordered the Instagram Teaser, you’ll receive that film within one week from the wedding date.
All of your films will be available on a nifty private online film gallery where you can watch, share, and download your films anytime. You’ll also receive a thank you package that includes hardcopies of all of your films, including all of your uncompressed raw footage, mailed to you on a custom USB drive.
Absolutely. The last thing we want is for your budget to prevent you from being able to relive such an important day! We typically require a 50% deposit after signing the contract with the remainder due 30 days prior to the wedding. However, we’re very easy to talk to and are open to customized and creative payment options.
Yes! Choosing the right music can make or break a film. Although wedding videographers are only legally permitted to use copyright-free music, we give you the opportunity to provide input on what songs, style and mood you’d prefer. This will allow us to choose the perfect music for you. This also ensures that we’re supporting the artist who’s music we’re using. We choose our music from several high-end sources, the same that professional TV and movie studios use. When you first speak with us, we'll talk to you about what mood/style you’d prefer for your wedding film.
You bet! We are allies of the LGBTQ+ community and we film and love all people regardless of gender or sexuality (and size, color, and nationality for that matter).
We get along with EVERYONE. We’re pretty darn likeable people. And yes, photographers tend to love us. We’re super respectful of photographers and excellent communicators. Once we know who your photographer is, we'll reach out to introduce ourselves and let them know our timeline for the day-of as a courtesy.
We record professional quality audio for all spoken portions of your wedding. This means using a very discreet "lav" mic on the groom and officiant for the vows, while capturing reception speeches from your DJ's soundboard. We also have backup options as needed to ensure there are always 2 sources of high quality audio being captured at any given time, just in case.
We hope so! If you have the time, we'd love get to know you more and go over the details of your wedding. We can meet in person, do a Zoom call, chat on the phone, or whatever works for you!
We carry $2 million in business liability insurance and can quickly provide a Certificate of Insurance for your venue as needed.
No, we feel that additional lighting for the indoor portions of your wedding has the potential to be intrusive, unnecessary, and dated. Because of that, we use high-end cameras with excellent low-light capabilities, preventing us from having to use any additional lighting.
