Owner

I’m Ryan, the filmmaker behind Gray Mustache Studios. After nearly a decade in weddings, I launched my own studio in 2023, blending documentary storytelling with a crafted, cinematic option for couples who want something more guided. I’m also a career firefighter in Howell, which taught me calm under pressure and the value of preserving meaningful moments. The studio is named in honor of my dad and his gray mustache — a reminder to capture moments before they pass.

Every couple deserves a wedding film that feels true to them. That’s why we offer two distinct approaches: a quiet, documentary style that captures your day naturally, and a bespoke, cinematic option for couples who want something more guided and artfully composed. No matter the style, your experience is tailored, personal, and stress‑free. And when it’s all done, your films are delivered on a keepsake USB and a premium video frame — a modern heirloom you can relive anytime without searching through files or devices.

    I honestly could not be happier with Ryan's work! He was able to accommodate my request of filling just our ceremony for an extremely affordable and appropriate price. He was very professional, we barely noticed he was there filming. Ryan returned our edited video back very timely and made quick edits for the perfect video.
