My wife Brittany and I have had a fantastic and transformative experience dancing at Forever Dancing Ballroom! We found them at one of their open house events and immediately booked a package of lessons with Fabio for our wedding. Our dance lessons were always a fun break from wedding planning, and we left every dance lesson feeling better than we did when we walked in. It was exciting to learn new moves and choreography at every lesson. At first, we thought the techniques were difficult, but with practice and good coaching, we were able to learn the steps and perform a romantic and fun first dance at our wedding. It was thrilling to do our dance in front of such a supportive and enthusiastic crowd - we absolutely loved the magic moment of our first dance! My wife and I had a casual interest in dancing before we worked on the first dance with Fabio, but since then, we've become hooked and now we take group classes and have continued with private lessons as well. Jennifer Bonini manages the studio classes, billing, private lessons, events, and more. She is friendly, funny, and supportive, and very excellent at keeping everything organized. A talented dancer herself, Jennifer has also shared some excellent dance coaching with us from time to time. Other coaches at the studio are similarly personable and welcoming to all. The entire vibe at Forever Dancing is simply perfect for those looking for an approachable dance studio that will keep you smiling, moving, and have a blast dancing. I highly encourage you to visit Forever Dancing Ballroom as a studio: for wedding first dance lessons, group classes, cool workshops, and a fulfilling way to spend your time!

We were planning a small wedding from another country and felt overwhelming until we found Arlington Treehouse. Abby and Ed were incredibly responsive throughout the entire process, offering practical advice that saved us time and stress during planning. They went above and beyond by helping us. Abby has collections of silk flowers and decoration for you to choose from. She also help me with flowers and centerpiece arrangements, and their collection of bud vases gave us so many options to choose from. The venue itself is spacious enough for our intimate celebration, yet it felt like getting married at our own home without any of the work. On our wedding day, everything ran smoothly and we never felt rushed or stressed out about cleaning up—we were able to truly enjoy quality time with our loved ones. We honestly couldn't have pulled off our special day without Abby and Ed, and we're grateful for everything they did to make it perfect.

We knew The Tower Club Tysons would be our wedding venue the minute we stepped off the elevator! The vibe, the ambiance, the views, the food, and the team were just everything we wanted for an intimate, elegant wedding! From the get-go, our consultant Lindsay and her team made us feel welcome and heard and no matter what we asked for or wanted, they were super flexible and accommodating to our needs. For instance, we're Persian and for Persian weddings we have a traditional table layout called a sofreh. When we told Lindsay about it, she again was very accommodating and showed us the perfect setting for our sofreh. Additionally, our original wedding plans for a destination wedding ended up not working out and we had to switch to plan B and have our wedding locally, so we only had around 4 months until our wedding date (they also had availability for the exact date we requested in October) when we first visited the Tower Club and only about 3 months of solid planning after we signed our contract. Lindsay assured us that we would have plenty of time to plan and get everything together and that put our minds at ease right away. She was with us and guided us every step of the way and I can truly say that everything went as planned and was as stress-free as possible. Our wedding day/night was everything we imagined it would be and more -- the night couldn't have gone more wonderfully and smoothly, and a lot of the credit will have to go to the Tower Club's wonderful staff and team. Our guests all had a wonderful time and raved about the Tower Club's gorgeous space and views and the delicious food and drinks! Speaking of the view, you're on the 17th floor with lots of balconies and a beautiful, bird's eye view of the whole city. The sunset on our wedding day was DIVINE and something that not only our guests enjoyed during cocktail hour (we saw a bunch of them taking photos on the balcony during cocktail hour), but also something our photographer and videographer took advantage of for our photos. Lastly, the staff were helpful, accommodating, and all smiles until the very end of the night, which was something we truly appreciated. All in all, 10/10 we would recommend The Tower Club Tysons as the perfect, dreamy venue for the elegant wedding of your dreams!

The Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center was an exceptional choice for our wedding venue. From the very beginning, the communication with their team was outstanding. We had countless questions about everything from the catering to the day-of timeline, and they answered each one in detail through our extensive email threads. This allowed us to feel completely prepared and confident going into our big day. When we went to try the food, the Hyatt team made sure we got to meet the chef and staff, and they even let us take some samples home to think it over. On the wedding day, the meal was absolutely delicious - even though we barely had time to eat, all of our guests raved about it. The Hyatt Regency team is clearly highly experienced and professional, and I would highly recommend them to any couple looking for a formal hotel/conference style venue. They truly helped make our wedding day perfect.

Venue considerations

  • Large venue, not ideal for small guest lists

My husband and I got married in December '24 and had a great experience with the Sheraton Pentagon City. The hotel is really close to DCA so it was super easy for our guests to book AND the rate was AMAZING. Having a wedding so close to the holidays made travel much more expensive so having a hotel that was so reasonably priced was such a HUGE win. There was some construction in the surrounding area but none of our guests had anything negative to say about it, so if you see this don't be concerned. The stunning view from the ballroom spoke for itself! We worked most closely with John and Christian but the Sheraton team was huge and we met many different people responsible for our event. They are a well oiled machine so you don't need to worry about what happens if someone gets sick or is stuck in traffic on your big day! The rooms were lovely, with stunning views of all of DC! Overall I would HIGHLY recommend having your wedding here :)

The venue itself is a beautiful blank canvas to transform your event into whatever your aesthetic may be -- and it's a great value for the Georgetown area. We had our ceremony outside in the courtyard, followed immediately by cocktail hour and our first dance outside. Then we had a seated dinner in the front part of the space, followed by dancing under the skylight. Meg and Emily were so supportive and proactive throughout the planning process, expertly coordinating with our other vendors to ensure everything ran smoothly on the day. They went above and beyond to make our wedding day stress-free, and suggested ideas for how we could make the space work well for our guest count. I wouldn't change a thing.

We had a multi-day wedding event at the Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City, in February 2026. Picking this amazing team and venue was the greatest decision we made - the team was truly incredible. It all started with Katie Fabian, who made us the most comfortable during the venue discovery phase. She answered all of our questions with the utmost professionalism, was very attentive, and showed us that she really loves what she does. Even after we started to work with the rest of the team, she continued to check in to make sure everything was ok - she was great. Our wedding weekend was absolute bliss, and the team at the Ritz executed it perfectly. The team did everything to accommodate us, and we really appreciate it. In addition to Katie, we primarily worked with the Ritz’s special event manager, Allie Delgado, who was so thoughtful and flexible while working with us. Through the food tasting, countless planning emails, and all the coordination leading up to the weekend, the planning process felt seamless. Allie was patient, creative, and flexible as we worked through menu options to balance our budget and accommodate guest dietary restrictions. The team handled every change with care and professionalism. In the end, it's all about feeling comfortable and the attention to detail. Allie is a logistics extraordinaire - already predicting our asks and reserving for us additional storage spaces and getting ready rooms. Allie also cared for our family, who, alongside Samantha Boem, were very accommodating and assisted with the hotel room blocks, which we ended up doubling. Every guest we spoke with praised the front desk staff - this venue can clearly handle large guest events. The food was phenomenal as well - Chef Cesar is magic. Everyone was raving about the food, especially the risotto, fish tacos, mushroom ravioli, beet salad, and incredible appetizers, including the edamame potstickers, spicy tuna, bruschetta, and beggar’s purse. The late-night food and desserts passed out on the dance floor were also great. Allie, Katie, and the team at the Ritz also stood out for the unique touches. They created spot-on “his and her cocktails” (we didn’t adjust them at all from the tasting) and even designed the signage for them. There were many thoughtful gestures - from the room rates for the executive suites, to the gifts throughout the weekend that were in our room, and the biggest surprise was the layout of the bed in the honeymoon suite. If you are deciding whether to work with this team in the beautiful event spaces they provide, you should look no further. You will be in exceptional hands, and we would choose this venue and the team again in a heartbeat.

They transformed the ballroom into the perfect dance floor, served amazing food, and incorporated all the specific set-up I asked for. Our guests raved about the cocktail hour hors d'ourves. We loved the food & the tasting session they put together was amazing. We worked with Megan and Alexandra, who walked us through the different blueprints of how the entrance to our reception could be set up with our seating chart, guest book, and special memories display. It was even better than we imagined!

We had our son’s Wedding Reception in Andrew Mellon Auditorium in September, 2019. When we wanted to look at the venue, we contacted Jaime Ward of Event Emissary, who manages the venue, and she was so professional and helpful. She kindly agreed to be the event coordinator for our son’s Wedding Reception. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue! Having looked at a few hotel ballrooms, when we first looked at the Andrew Mellon Auditorium, we were awestruck! Even the pretty photos we had seen didn’t prepare us to visualize how magnificent it is! This venue is just magical. Not only are the inside of the venue, the exquisite foyers, and the great hall, also, the surroundings - a photographers’ dream. During the months leading up to the Reception, we were in contact with Jaime. She always answered our e-mails promptly and patiently answered our countless questions about logistics and such. Jaime’s supreme organizational skills took the stress out of everything! 0ur 450 plus guests were raving as to what a beautiful setting Andrew Mellon is. They were also all praise for the event itself – how thoughtfully organized and coordinated. Jaime was just brilliant at handling every aspect of the event, took care of every detail. Our son and daughter-in-law loved every second of their special event. It was so gratifying to see it all come together so beautifully on the day of the Reception. Our heartfelt and sincere thanks to Jaime for helping to make the wedding reception – the one to remember for our lifetime! Our advice to any bride and groom considering this venue – just do it and you will love it! Jaime and staff will go over and above to make sure your dream day will be a memorable one!

We had our wedding at Met Cafe on September 21, 2024, and I can honestly say it was everything Chris and I dreamed of and more. From the very beginning (from touring Met Cafe to the day of the wedding), the experience was seamless. Des So (venue owner) went above and beyond to help us coordinate every detail for our wedding of nearly 200 guests with my wedding coordinator (Jennette Le- Lilo Weddings). His care, professionalism, and attention to detail truly made the day unforgettable while making coordination between all vendors seamless. One of the most magical moments of the day was our first look on the rooftop, with the stunning view of the National Monument behind us. It was picture perfect, literally. We took some of our favorite wedding photos there, and it gave our day an elevated, iconic DC/urban city feel that we’ll treasure forever. The venue itself was beautifully set up to reflect the fusion of cultures (Chinese, Korean, Laotian) we hoped to celebrate. The layout, decor, and overall vibe perfectly captured that feeling of warmth, love, and unity. Throughout the day, our family/friends kept commenting on how well everything came together. It wasn’t just a wedding, it felt like an experience that brought everyone closer, which is exactly what we wanted. And the food, literally chefs kiss- amazing! The venue’s in-house catering absolutely blew everyone away. Multiple guests told us it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had (and we agree!). Every bite was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, from hors d'oeuvres to dessert. We are beyond thankful to Met Cafe and our vendors for making our wedding not just a special day, but a joyful, meaningful celebration of love, family, and community. If you’re looking for a venue that combines elegance, professionalism, and heart- look no further.

The Atrium at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens

Vienna, VA
  • Up to 230 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $15,000

The Atrium is perfectly nestled within Meadowlark Botanical Gardens and overlooks 95 acres of lush gardens, green hills, and perfectly manicured landscape. Voted as one of the premiere wedding venues in the Greater Washington area, The Atrium can accommodate up to 230 seated guests for a wedding reception and up to 300 standing guests.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Has a dance floor for celebration
  • Provides catering services
  • Picturesque garden backdrop

Venue considerations

  • No on-premises lodging options
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Additional event staff required
As soon as we took a tour of the Atrium, we knew this was the perfect spot to get married. The gardens are beautiful, and the inside the building the glass walls, plants, and little river give an airy and natural feel. I didn't worry about rain because you feel like you're outside even when you're in. When guests got too hot on the dance floor, they could go out and socialize on the patio overlooking the gardens in the cool night air. Given the meal prices for comparable venues, this venue is GREAT VALUE!! The food was great and the guests were happy. There were a couple small things that might be helpful to share, though. Our point of contact changed several times in the span of our engagement and there was sometimes a delay in communication. Also, the venue was marketed as a capacity of 200 people but it is better suited to weddings of 160-180 guests. When you go over 180, you have to choose some guests to seat in a room that feels divided by the little stream which is awkward. Also, there is no space for getting ready so brides and bridesmaids have to get ready off-site. Overall, I was overjoyed with having my wedding day here and I think for the price we still had an incredible experience. I don't regret it at all!!

The Whittemore House
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Washington, DC
  • Up to 200 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor

The Whittemore House is one of Washington’s most historic and elegant mansions. Designed as a private residence between 1892 and 1894 by architect Harvey Page for opera singer Sarah Adams Whittemore, the mansion is conveniently located in Dupont Circle. The immense charm of the irregularly shaped exterior is handsomely reflected in the interior room arrangement and open connecting spaces, making it an ideal gathering space for your next special event. The Woman’s National Democratic Club has occupied the mansion since 1927. The Whittemore House was listed on the National Register of Historical Places in 1973 and was granted museum status in 2000. Today, we celebrate this distinguished history and tradition by maintaining a noted collection of antiques, art, and political memorabilia.

The house team was very easy to work with and accustomed to the needs of video crews (our need). The overall space is large, well-maintained and offers multiple rooms with different looks and sizes, all with a classical, mansion home esthetic.

The most romantic day of your life should be historic! That's why the National Press Club in downtown DC is the perfect venue to celebrate your wedding and ensure your big day will go down in history! It's not just the place where news happens, it's where memories are made. Overlooking the White House at the top of the National Press Building, the Club has a wonderful atmosphere, terrific food, and excellent service.

Why you'll love this venue

  • All-inclusive venue packages
  • Multiple event spaces
  • Offers full-service amenities

Venue considerations

  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Best for events with big guest lists
  • Does not allow pets
What initially made us go with the National Press Club was that much of the most complicated aspects of putting a wedding together are available in-house. You deal with one person who asks the right questions up front, assesses your wants and needs and manages every detail from that point forward. If you’re planning your first wedding (like we were), it’s likely you’re already getting overwhelmed by the realization of how many critical details go into a successful wedding. However, at The Press Club: Reception Catering: Check. Cocktail hour catering: Check. Bar: Check. Tables / chairs / linens / etc. Check. Dance floor: Check. Audio Visual technician: Check. Alphabetizing your table place cards. Check. And so on and so on. All we needed to do was hire a deejay, a wedding photographer, a bakery for the wedding cake and the florist. And on the day of the wedding, the NPC staff took care of getting our vendors in and out and dealing with unexpected logistical issues, which there always are with any large events. The pricing was transparent and the estimate on the banquet order was what we paid. Ok, those are the practical reasons the NPC was a great choice. Now for the aesthetics. The Press Club is quintessential Washington, DC classy. They have multiple rooms that one can rent to customize your wedding experience. Our ceremony took place in the Holeman Lounge which flowed into the First Amendment Lounge, where we had our cocktail hour. The First Amendment Lounge offers stunning views of DC, including the Washington Monument and the east wing of the White House. Our reception took place in The Ballroom. We also had a room for our vendors to stage and a private space for us and the wedding party, which was such a nice touch. Many of our wedding guests were in awe of the NPC. It feels very exclusive and so many of them took the opportunity to take pictures of themselves at the Press Club podium and selfies with the luminaries and historical figures adorning the walls throughout. The service: This is where the National Press Club really stands out. We were blessed to have Renee managing the process from beginning to end. We can’t stress enough the amazing service she provided. She went through every detail with us. Twice just to make sure she captured everything correctly down to how we wanted the napkins folded. Two months before the wedding she put together the most beautiful food tasting experience for us. Before locking in our menu, we tasted a number of appetizers that would be served during cocktail hour as well as the dinner options and desserts. We also tasted a variety of wines. All in all, it was a preview of how fantastic our reception would be, with both the food and the service. The day of, Renee and David took fabulous care of us and our guests. Both really went above and beyond of what we could possibly imagine. During our rehearsal the day before, Renee noticed the wedding party was struggling a little to get the timing of the processional right and she jumped in and helped with our timing and ended up cueing us as to when to start walking the actual day. All of this combined to make our wedding a fabulous experience with zero stress. As positive as this review is, it falls hopelessly short of conveying just how wonderful our experience was.

As a wedding planner, I get the opportunity to work in many venues in Washington, D.C. But there's something truly special about one of D.C.'s newest hotels, Viceroy Washington DC. From the moment I first stepped through the hotel's front doors, I was impressed with the hotel's luxe, stylish and modern details that celebrate local artists and musicians. The photo ops are truly endless! But above all, what's most memorable about Viceroy Washington DC are the people. The events and food and beverage team go above and beyond to ensure that your event will be a success. We navigated numerous challenges due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Kate and the entire team made what could've been an incredibly stressful process, so easy! Due to local guidelines, we needed to move our indoor event outdoors. With Kate's help, we were able to seamlessly pivot to a beautiful event on the hotel's outdoor heated patio. The food and beverage program is outstanding and safety is considered every step of the way. Can't recommend Viceroy Washington DC highly enough!
