“Anf Hair & Makeup Designs did a wonderful job with my wedding party and my bridal look! I was nervous about getting the Asian bridal look right (I am Chinese/Japanese), as well as for my family and bridesmaids (who are mainly East Asian). But Ashley was professional and genuinely listened to what I wanted, making the whole planning process feel collaborative. She paid close attention to the photo references I provided and used them to inform her professional input.
I’m really glad I was able to do a makeup trial—we got to test the look and give feedback, and Ashley nailed it on the actual wedding day. She was also flexible about using specific makeup products I brought, which meant a lot to me since I had a particular glitter shade I wanted incorporated.
For future brides (especially fellow Asian brides!), I would strongly recommend scheduling a trial with all members if possible—it made a big difference in achieving the exact look I wanted. Unfortunately, due to international travel, my family and bridesmaids weren't able to do trials, and there were a few small details on the wedding day that needed adjusting ourselves (such as finishing touches like lashes and brows). That said, everything came together in the end.
The hair stylist was also absolutely amazing—she was efficient, attentive, and really brought everyone’s look together beautifully. My mom especially loved the blow-out look with her short hair. The elaborate work of my bridal bun was GORGEOUS. Overall, I was very happy with my bridal look and appreciated the team’s effort in making the day special! Thank you so much!”
