    Subpar Communication

    I booked the one-on-one makeup lesson July 20, 2026 because I don’t know anything about makeup and it advertised that an e-booklet would be included afterward so I could have something to look back on at home. The lesson itself was helpful, but the experience afterward was very disappointing. I was initially told the e-booklet would be sent within 24 to 48 hours. I waited until Wednesday the 22nd to reach out by text asking when I’ll receive the e-booklet. I never got an asking when I’ll receive the e-booklet. I never got a response. So I reached out by email on the 23rd. I didn’t get a response. She finally responds on Friday the 24th saying how she’s sustained chemical burns on her hands on that same Monday we had the lesson (she mentioned working at dominoes on the side). which I understood, and I responded with well wishes. My frustration came from the lack of communication and follow-through. After explaining the delay, I still was not given the promised e-booklet. I was later told it would be completed with the help of her husband and that I would receive a partial refund, but as of the date of this review, (July 31, 2026) I still have not received the e-booklet. I understand that emergencies happen, but keeping paying customers informed and delivering what was promised is an important part of running a business. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet those expectations.

    Best of the Best!

    I cannot recommend Alana with Bella Vita Artistry enough. She truly is the best of the best. She listened carefully to what I wanted and absolutely nailed it. I still looked like me, just elevated and glowing. I felt so beautiful while still feeling like myself, which was exactly what I hoped for. My makeup lasted all day and photographed perfectly. Beyond her talent, Alana was incredibly professional. She was responsive throughout the entire planning process and was punctual on my wedding day.

    Amazing makeup artist!

    Alana is an amazing makeup artist! She made me, my wedding party, and my mom feel beautiful on my wedding day. We were all very happy with our makeup and didn't need any adjustments. I didn't even have a makeup trial with her and she made me look exactly how I envisioned on my wedding day. Our makeup even lasted 10 hours in 90 degree weather! In addition, Alana is very sweet, reliable, and excellent at communicating. I would recommend Bella Vita Artistry to anyone :)
