“Julian at Limelight and DJ Rashaun were absolutely perfect for us. We knew the vibe we wanted — and, frankly, it was a little off the beaten path since we wanted a bit of a 1930s feeling. We thought we were doomed, though, because we're terrible at selecting exact songs and had no sense of how the music fit into the overall schedule of the night. We hadn't thought past our ceremony! Julian kept things positive, steered us when we had no idea what to do, but gave us space to put our stamp on our evening when he could sense we had ideas burbling. He was helpful, positive and always prompt without ever being pushy, and so many of our favorite moments came out of the things he got us to think about. Rashaun was awesome too. He took our weird list of preferred songs and turned it into an amazing night of love, dining, and dancing. It felt like he'd known for years, always hitting the right classic hit, the right remix, the right memory moments. He was such a kind and lovely man too. We'd hire them again in a heartbeat!”

The DJ kept the party going all night with a good song selection, though they did play 3 Taylor Swift songs in a row at the start, which we would have preferred more variety. The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. “My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! The photo booth package he has available is a MUST! Guests were raving about the printouts and the quality of the photos! Attached is an example of what the printouts look like. These also can be sent to your phone and will be emailed to you the next day. We were beyond happy to with the energy, music selections, effort, and work Ryan put out for our wedding! From the very first meeting, he was an absolute pleasure to work with: professional, easygoing, and genuinely passionate about creating an unforgettable experience. The dance party was one of the parts of our wedding I was most looking forward to (besides actually getting married, of course), and Chris completely delivered. We built out our song preferences for each part of the night using the Vibo app, which made the process fun and incredibly easy. Chris has just about every song imaginable in his library. And if he doesn’t, he’ll find it. He was even able to edit songs to fit perfectly for our parent dances, which was such a thoughtful touch. He also handled the ceremony sound setup for a small additional (and very fair) charge, and everything sounded flawless from start to finish.
