He did an amazing job with following the schedule and making sure everything was prepared ahead of time. He did a great job reading the crowd and making sure everyone was having a great time! “The harpist and violinist were absolutely incredible — truly one of the most magical parts of our entire wedding day. “My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “Where do we even start! From the very first email, Colin was such a calming and supportive presence throughout the whole wedding planning process. Anytime I had a question or worry (which I had a few), he was right there with reassurance and quick answers - even when I’d email him late at night, he somehow would respond within minutes! That kind of responsiveness and care meant so much to us, especially in the week leading up to the wedding with things get hectic. He went above and beyond for our rehearsal, helping us run through every detail and setting up mics and speakers so efficiently that everything flowed seamlessly. It gave us such a peace of mind knowing he had everything under control. On the wedding day, Colin handled two complete sound setups - his wireless one for our outdoor ceremony and his main for the reception - and both were absolutely flawless! The sound quality was perfect the entire day; guests could hear every word of our ceremony and every speech crystal clear. There wasn’t a single hiccup. Then came one of the biggest surprises of the night - cold sparks! Colin and my husband had planned them without me knowing, and it was truly one of my favorite parts of the evening. It made our first dance feel straight out of a movie and the photos from that moment are unreal. If anyone is on the fence about adding cold sparks - DO IT! You won’t regret it. The Photo Booth was a huge hit with our guests! Colin recently upgraded with a printer which people were obsessed with being able to take home their photos (a little built in favor). It kept guests entertained all night long and added such a fun, interactive element to our reception. What really stood out though, was how Colin and his wife (who was his wonderful assistant that day) made everything so personal. They were professional yet warm, blending right into the crowd and truly feeling like family celebrating alongside us. Colin kept the energy flowing, a smooth timeline, and the dance floor full all night long. Looking back, we can’t imagine our day without Sound Love. Colin helped make everything easy, stress-free, and so much fun. “If you're looking for a DJ who goes above and beyond, Mike is your guy. From start to finish, he was the definition of professional. Responsive, organized, and genuinely invested in making the day perfect. Communication was excellent throughout the entire planning process. Mike made sure to walk through the venue with us ahead of time so that every logistical detail was locked in well before the big day. He handled all the traditional wedding DJ responsibilities flawlessly, but he also embraced our more unique requests without hesitation. We asked him to play video game lo-fi music during cocktail hour and dinner, and he absolutely nailed it. We're also huge fans of metal and rock, and we were initially worried that might not translate well to a wedding dance floor. He was able to mix those songs in live and keep the energy high all night. It turned out to be one of our favorite parts of the reception, and honestly something we weren't sure we'd get to experience. On top of everything else, our guests couldn't stop complimenting his work. He kept the floor packed and the vibe exactly right from beginning to end. “We booked through Steve upfront and he was so terrific to work with on initial arrangements. Our DJ, Drew, was absolutely fantastic! He handled both our ceremony and reception music, and everything was seamless from start to finish. The ceremony music was perfect, the timing was exactly right, and he helped create the exact feeling we wanted for the day. He used my Spotify playlists as inspiration for our pre-ceremony and cocktail hour music, so those moments felt completely like us and set the perfect vibe from the beginning. For the reception, he did an amazing job reading the room, keeping the energy going, and making sure everything flowed without us ever having to worry about what was happening next. “DJ Haze was THE perfect choice for our wedding day. From the very beginning, his communication style was detailed, VERY considerate, and he always put OUR wants and needs first. He was incredibly inclusive in making sure my Mexican side of the family got their Mexican music included lol I was so happy he did that without us asking for it, it made me so happy. The quality of his work was truly professional, fun, and lighthearted, creating a wholesome atmosphere that all our guests enjoyed. He’s a huge jokester so a lot of laughs were had when he’d speak on the mic. He went above and beyond, always checking in with US before doing anything to ensure it aligned with our vision. He was especially thoughtful, noting that our son has noise sensory issues due to autism, and immediately lowered the volume to a comfortable level to where my son was happy and all of the guests still danced their hearts out. He also recognized that I was experiencing foot pain and graciously allowed me to take breaks to sit down. When it came time for the father-daughter dance, he perfectly faded the music to accommodate my father's history of foot cancer knowing he needed to rest. DJ Haze was literally the best DJ we could have imagined for our wedding day, and we are so grateful for his exceptional service. I’d recommend him to anyone! From preplanning meetings to the wedding day, Mitch was extremely on top of everything to ensure our wedding day ran smoothly. He also communicated with our other vendors on the day of the wedding to ensure everyone was on the same page! When we had our live acoustic guitarist back out somewhat suddenly, we reached out to Mitch for references. To our surprise, he offered us an even better idea to have him play sax and a friend play guitar at the ceremony. All of our guests absolutely loved it and it brought a really special feel to the ceremony. On top of that, the energy he brings to MCing got our guests super excited and involved! Part of our package included having Mitch play Sax at the reception… JUST DO IT! It was so fun having him jump on the dance floor and interact with our guests! Mitch made our wedding a day to remember for all, and we cannot recommend him enough. Thank you DJ Mitch!”
