Prior to the wedding weekend, we walked the entire property together to discuss placement, flow and sound logistics since we had the ceremony and the toasts/dancing in two separate locations - both of which he covered seemlessly on the day of our wedding. Matt asked all the questions we hadn’t thought of yet ourselves :) even volunteering additional equipment to make logistics easier for the jazz band we hired. He took the time to build a thoughtful playlist that perfectly matched our preferred music styles and wove in song requests from our guests. The energy was fantastic, and the dance floor was always packed from moment we opened up the floor. My husband and I couldn’t find time to leave the dance floor because their compilations just flow from one to the next. They didn’t just entertain, they touched every heart in the room. Not only was he the most talented cello musician, he absolutely crushed the dance party and played non stop for 3:30 hours. Not one bad song or bad mix. It was absolutely incredible. But what truly sets him apart is how much heart he pours into what he does. Without us even knowing, he recorded our entire ceremony, our cocktail hour, our dance floor, and gifted us not just music, but memories. He allowed us to relive the most important day of our lives again and again. That level of thoughtfulness is beyond anything we could have imagined. Our wedding was perfect because of him. He exceeded every expectation and gave us more than we ever dreamed possible. He is, without question, the most talented, kind, and extraordinary musician and DJ we have ever met. If we could give him more than 5 stars, we would. To us, he isn’t just the best wedding DJ in the world, he’s someone we will forever be grateful for, someone who gave us the gift of a wedding day that truly felt like a dream. After the call, my fiancé said that musician you spoke with made you so happy you better just hurry up and hire her. I never even spoke to another musician…I knew none could even come close to Erica. I hired Erica in July for my December Disney wedding. I never felt rushed, overwhelmed or anything stressful. Erica is so kind, her voice is ethereal and she knows how to read a room. She even recommended an amazing officiant to me when I was struggling to find one. Erica was the hit of my wedding, when she started singing to open the ceremony a bird flew up to her, perched next to her and sang with her.
