Matt Bell is an event DJ operating out of South Whidbey Island. He serves the event needs of surrounding local communities, but is primarily committed to providing quality sound and lighting experiences for those who live on or visit Whidbey Island. Serving both outdoor and indoor venues, he cultivates an aural landscape that honors your authentic taste and cares for the musical needs of the moment on your special day. Matt has a diverse range of musical taste and believes in allowing the needs of each event to dictate a uniquely-appropriate sonic atmosphere.

Matthew has years of customer service experience; has multiple music degrees; and is a teacher with extensive group management skills. He excels both at song choice and experience facilitation as well as a vast knowledge of what maximizes attendee enjoyment.

Basic Package

Price$1,600

Description

I charge 1,000$ flat for gear rental plus 100$ per hour for my services. I consider 6 hours to be the minimum time I am usually on site. If you need a second setup location for the ceremony I charge another 200$ for all of the necessary gear and prep time.

    DJ Matt Bell was the highlight of our wedding celebration. From our first interaction, he was straightforward, receptive, and honest, quickly putting us at ease with his friendly and funny communication style. On the day of, he was professional, prompt, and easy to work with - a true pro who kept the dance floor packed all night. Our older guests loved him, and my millennial friends thought he was great as well. Matt was also really charming and supportive to my husband, who was a bit nervous, which we really appreciated. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ to help make our special day so memorable. Well that was weird. The AI thing. The DJ is great though. I would recommend him to anyone!

    From the moment we met Dj Matt Bell, we knew he was going to be a perfect fit for our wedding. His communication style is funny, caring, and straightforward, which put us at ease right away. The quality of his work is really, really good - he is professional, respectful, and extremely effective at keeping the dance floor packed all night long. Matt asked us great questions that helped fix problems we didn't even know about, and he did an amazing remix of our first dance song that he seamlessly mixed in at the end of the night. My mom loved Matt too and said he "saved" our wedding - we couldn't agree more! We highly recommend Dj Matt Bell to any couple looking for an amazing DJ who will make their special day unforgettable. This AI thing is weird, but I do think it said what I wanted to better than I would have. Hire Matt, he is great.

    DJ Matt Bell was an incredible addition to our wedding day. From the very first conversation, he was responsive, direct, kind, and deeply invested in helping us have the best celebration possible. Matt served as a great facilitator, an amazing MC, and put on an impressive DJ performance that kept our dance floor packed all night long. He made everything run like clockwork and went above and beyond to help in any way he could, even before the big day.     We hired matt for our wedding. Matt was very easy to work with and very communicative. We met prior to our event and discussed the specifics of what we wanted. (Mostly unnoticeable with a mix that would appease our younger friends and later generation parents.) We had a great time, and didn’t need to manage or discuss anything during our event. He handled requests from our guests appropriately and kept everyone dancing.
