“Justin and Jesse played at our wedding in Hudson, NY on 9/3/22. Justin and Jesse played live music during our ceremony, cocktails, and throughout diner. Justin then DJ'ed during the reception. In the months leading up to the wedding Justin was very responsive and kept in touch. He was very easy to work with. We sent him numerous playlists to work with and bounce ideas off of. He made sure to keep the music to songs and vibes we were going for during the reception, could not have asked for more. The live music was absolutely phenomenal. They learned all the songs we asked of them for the ceremony and then worked off of an inspiration playlist during cocktails and diner. The live music was so much fun and gave an amazing ambience to the evening. During diner they played an acoustic cover of Sweet Child O'Mine that was so great the entire reception could not help but watch and everyone ended up clapping which is amazingly rare to happen while people are playing background music. It was an incredible moment. We recommend Skylark Music to anyone who wants a classy, but not stuffy, and very fun live music. These guys are great!”

“We were notified about a month out that the DJ we initially booked through Perfect blend fell ill (still sending well wishes!) but not to worry, they had already taken care of everything and our new DJ Mace was ready to help us dance all night. “Naked Soul (led by Tony and Tom Perrone) absolutely ROCKED at our wedding! Tons of friends and family told us during and afterwards that they were the best wedding band they'd seen, and we might be biased, but we agree wholeheartedly. They were also pretty great to work with, and as a result music was one of the least stressful parts of planning and one of the best memories of the event. The planning process was extremely professional — we had a few calls with Tony to talk over the vibe we were going for in the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dance floor. They sent over a list of a couple hundred songs in their repertoire and we picked 20 or so to anchor their idea of what we were looking for and selected our processionals, recessional, first dance, and parent-child dances. Our first dance was not on their list but they learned it and killed it in their performance. Our venue was a little non-traditional (relatively small room for the dance floorband) and we weren't sure that a full band was going to work in the space, but Tony put us at ease and pulled it off amazingly. One of the points Tony made in the run-up was that the songs we were picking were recommendations, not a set list. The band was going to follow the vibe and play more of whatever style was working with the crowd. This made it so much easier for us to pick songs, and in the end they played a lot of stuff that wasn't in our pics but went over better than we could have dreamed. I never thought I'd say that the best songs at my wedding were from the Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, and Black Eyed Peas. They knew their audience and the place went wild when they played Everybody (Backstreet's Back). The range of songs that a 10-piece band with a full array of vocalists can pull off is wild. Anyway, 10/10, would book again. If you're in the New York area and looking for a party we can't recommend Perrone Bros/Naked Soul highly enough. Bonus, these pics were taken by Tony and posted to their Instagram after the event.”

We had an initial planning meeting, he set us up with our own timeline (an app that he created!), we had a follow-up meeting and then a week-of meeting! We felt so ready when the day came but were still so surprised about how much DJ Lou did for us. He was checking to see if we were okay, pulling us away to make sure we were eating, working with our other vendors so seamlessly- our ceremony musicians, our officiant, our family band, and our photographer! It made the reception a hit among all our guests! We can't recommend him enough!”
