I highly recommend the Berkshires Black Abbey as a venue for your next special event. I recently attended a relative’s wedding there, and it was truly unforgettable. This beautifully restored church blends historic charm with modern elegance. The moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere took my breath away. We held our wedding at Vanderbilt Lakeside and cannot recommend it enough. Our whole wedding party was able to stay at the Guesthouse with us, which was so special. The rooms are cozy and have everything you might need for a short stay. The grounds are lovely and feel so private and tucked away even though the venue is in downtown Philmont. The event staff are fantastic--Henrietta helped make our vision come to life and was so responsive throughout the wedding planning process, Matt's food was incredible, and all of the staff were so lovely and helpful throughout. It was a dream, and we would recommend it to anyone and everyone! We're already dreaming of hosting another event there one day.

We had the pleasure of holding our wedding at Mr Milandou Badila's aka Mr Paris dope spot in Hudson and we couldn't be happier with the service. The venue looks really amazing, stunning architecture and lush greenery created the perfect backdrop for our special day. My favorite part of working with them was the hospitality and doing the most to make sure our guests were good. Whole staff was a pleasure to work with ensuring that every detail was taken care of. We really had the wedding of our dreams and his team made sure everything ran smoothly on the day. Our immediate family also stayed on site at the Stonehouse and Caretakers Cottage, which made the weekend feel intimate, immersive, and unforgettable. Carol and her team pour their heart and soul into every celebration. From the moment we began planning, it was clear how deeply invested they are in making your day perfect. The stunning landscaping, thoughtful flow of each space, and impeccable guest experience reflected their vision and attention to detail at every turn. Dee, the bar manager, ran an exceptional operation: no lines, seamless service, and truly delicious specialty cocktails that guests are still talking about. Overflowing with history and curated with such intention, The Ruins is unlike any place we’ve ever encountered. With sweeping views of the Berkshires and a setting that feels both magical and deeply personal, we feel incredibly lucky to have celebrated such a meaningful weekend here. Constructed soon after the Great Fire of 1902, The United Bank Building was built to house two banks whose previous buildings had been destroyed, New Milford Savings Bank and the New Milford First National Bank. The two banks immediately organized to rebuild, quickly agreeing in principal to build a joint facility on the site of the New England House, a locally well known tavern and inn located at the corner of Bank and Main Street. For most of its life, the building had been used in some form of a bank, but had been largely under-used in recent decades, and had fallen into disrepair. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and taken over by Village Green Investments in 2015. After 9 months of renovations, the building became 19Main. Throughout renovations, we strived for modern amenities with historic elegance; three vaults remain from the building’s former bank days.

We are so pleased and happy with 19Main's venue and team, for us, it was Kylie. We decided to have our October 2025 wedding at 19Main due to it's unique building - the vaults, mezzanine, and large bridal and groom suites sealed the deal as well as being right on the beautiful New Milford town square. We reserved the venue in early January 2025 and worked with Kylie who guided us through site tours and being our main point of contact in general. We opted to rent the entire building and have a day-of coordinator (Kylie) and access to place settings (glassware, silverware, china). We are thankful we went with the 'expanded wedding package.' On the weeks leading up to the wedding, we had multiple vendor meetings and Kylie served as the linchpin for everything and she was incredibly organized. On the day, we had guests moving between the two large spaces (ceremony to cocktail hour to reception) with plenty of space to explore. The guests were thrilled to see an old bank be converted to such a beautiful venue. 19Main really left an impression on us and our guests - we couldn't be happier to have had the pleasure of getting married there and working alongside Kylie.

My husband and I are so glad that we chose to have our wedding at Rokeby. Marina was an absolute delight to work with and helped us create our perfect day. Rokeby allows for so much flexibility- we could choose where to have the ceremony, where to have the reception, whether or not to stay overnight in the mansion. We could structure our day however we wanted knowing that we had no restrictions other than what time the reception had to end. Marina's love and attachment to Rokeby shone through and transferred to us. The view cannot be beat, the grounds are gorgeous and the porch is the perfect location for cocktail hour.

We were so lucky to celebrate our wedding at A Private Estate, and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. When we were searching for a venue, we visited A Private Estate in the depth of winter during a snowstorm, but even then, we immediately knew it was the perfect place for us. Ripley, the owner, was friendly and direct, and it was clear she genuinely cared about making sure people had an amazing experience. The property was beautifully maintained, and the convenience of having the Carriage House accommodation along with the barn for the reception made it a much better value than most other venues we considered. We chose to have our ceremony outside, overlooking the Hudson River, which created a breathtaking and peaceful setting for our vows. The manor house made for a stunning backdrop for our family photos, adding a touch of elegance to the day. We held our reception in the barn, which we highly recommend to other couples. The rustic charm of the space, combined with the elegance of the estate, created the perfect atmosphere for our celebration. Our mid-August wedding was made even more memorable by the beauty and ambiance of the setting. The property manager, Jack, went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. Not only did he assist us with practical matters, like putting up blinds in the Carriage House to help our family members' kids sleep, but he also saved the day when a special bottle of wine we had intended to keep was accidentally thrown out by the caterers. Jack took it upon himself to dig it up and return it to us—an act of kindness we won’t forget. We are incredibly grateful for the hospitality and attention to detail from both Jack and Ripley. An absolute dream of a wedding venue! I recently got married at FVM in early September and could not recommend more. So many positive things to say… see below! First and foremost, the venue is tucked away in the most charming area of the Hudson Valley, surrounded by beautiful greenery and very well-kept grounds. Our guests not only raved about how gorgeous the space was, but also how fantastic the food was (s/o to the King, Chef Charlie), how the drinks were superb (a wedding essential), and how the staff was super helpful and friendly (thank you FVM team)! However, the true gem behind it all is Kerri—the amazing owner of the venue who also becomes your planner/coordinator and helps make the magic happen! Kerri is the most passionate, hardworking gal in the business. She will LITERALLY do anything and everything to make her couples wedding day a dream. As someone who recently relocated to the west coast and was planning our wedding from afar, Kerri went above and beyond to help make our planning experience seamless. She was super cost-conscious and accommodating, helping customize every element of our day and reflect our true vision. Even when the weather was looking not so good and I was stressing (emphasis on the stress), the FVM team had plans A-Z to ensure the day went on perfectly no matter what. And of course Kerri did everything and more to shuffle some things around so that the whole experience and day of remained seamless. What can’t this woman do?? An extra special shout out to her husband Frank who is the man behind the scenes keeping the space perfectly manicured and gorgeous! And of course kudos to my queen Mia (my personal bridal attendant for the day) who kept me dry from the weather, well fed, and took care of us all night! Final comment: this venue is unlike any venue we toured. It is not only a unique and charming space, but also so personable. In fact, through our venue touring process, FVM stood out as the only one to be so focused and dedicated to your event (vs just being another wedding on their list, booking couples back-to-back-to-back, etc.). Kerri, Frank, and the FVM staff truly have the best hearts and complete emotional ownership to your day, making your wedding experience like no other. Black Walnut Farm is an unbelievable venue that far exceeded our expectations for our wedding. Beyond the incredible property, the owners are excellent to work with from your first tour to even after your event. To start, the barn and the surrounding grounds look incredible and are so beautifully manicured. So many of our guests complimented the venue. The staff also blended very seamlessly with our caterer. We used Bridge Creek Catering, who were unbelievably on top of it, and between the venue and the caterers there wasn’t a single hiccup. Sarah’s day-of coordination definitely tied everything together and gave us a ton of confidence that event would run smoothly. We rented a tent for our reception and had it placed on the main lawn. The scene behind us, wild grass and a line of trees, is absolutely stunning in our photos. And the ceremony space in the woods is honestly magical. The farmhouse on the property, where the wedding party can stay for the duration of their weekend, is so comfortable and classic. The MASSIVE fireplace in the parlor is so amazing. And who doesn’t love a hot tub? We can’t say enough good things about Black Walnut.

The moment we walked through the door and got to talking and touring with Myles, we knew The Boylston Rooms had to be our venue! From there, the planning process was so enjoyable! Not a lot of venues offer such careful, personalized attention along with a HUGE room of decor to help your day come to life. They were happy to let us visit whenever we wanted to take another look at their decor and all our emails and questions were answered promptly. When the wedding week finally came, we honestly weren’t even worried about things going wrong because Myles and Erin had everything under control! My wife and I both almost never feel that way, so thanks to them we were able to have fun, enjoy our day, and just be in love with being in love!!! My women's education and networking group, the Women's Professional Network (WPN) held an event at Revel 32 on the evening of June 29. The venue is simply amazing! Beautiful, well laid out for any type of event. On the first floor there is a greeting/social area. When you climb to the top of the beautiful stairway, there is a small area that leads to a larger meeting room. There is a beautiful bar between these 2 rooms. There is also a larger room with a lovely stage. On the third floor there is another room and an exquisite balcony overlooking the second floor. The venue layout was very conducive to a networking event like ours. The hostess ( Judy Hannon) and her team were so hospitable and warm. Parking is readily available next to the building or in the public parking lot across the street. I would highly recommend Revel 32 as a venue for any type of event. We had an exceptional experience with The Delany House for our wedding! The Delany House was one of the first choices on our list, however we weren't sure we could make it work after Covid hit, and then we had several other circumstances that took us away from planning for a while. Then in August of 2022, we decided to make an appointment with Nicole at the Delany House because through all of our searching, we kept coming back to this beautiful place as our #1. Nicole was a wonderful coordinator and listened to all of our needs and concerns, as we had a very small amount of people and weren't sure if family would make it from different parts of the country. She was always communicating with us and made sure we had everything we needed to plan our special day, and in a short time frame as well because we married on May 12th 2023, less than a year from when we started planning! Nicole is a rock star! When we finally checked in, and got ready for our rehearsal dinner, we had one last meeting with Nicole and she took care of everything for us. The day of our wedding we had a legit TEAM of people helping us with everything we needed, from timing, to communicating with vendors, to our own waiter for the day bringing us diet cokes while we all got ready and later was right by our side with drinks through the night!- (Thanks Josiah!) The staff made sure we had everyone where they needed to be at the right time, and as the night went on they checked on us and made our guests feel so comfortable. The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD! All of our guests kept raving about how delicious everything was. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to get married and celebrate. We recommend The Delany House to anyone who we know that is getting married and wants a great place at a great price and wonderful staff! We can't wait to celebrate our one year anniversary there and see everyone again!

Please read—our experience was nothing short of amazing! We got married at Liberty View Farm this past Saturday, and The Wedding Foundry made our day absolutely unforgettable. Billiam and Erica truly have a gift and such a special thing going. Our day ran seamlessly, and we couldn’t have been happier. From a touching ceremony that had our guests in tears, to AMAZING food that people are still talking about (definitely not your typical “wedding food”), to the abundance of gorgeous florals that Ivan brought to life even more beautifully than I dreamed—it was all perfection. Cathy went above and beyond setting up our personal décor exactly how I envisioned and created a tablescape that looked like it came straight out of a fairytale. The planning process was also so smooth—they made it easy to choose menus, drinks, and all the little details, and they were always quick to respond to any questions, which gave us so much peace of mind. We also loved how this is such an “all-inclusive” venue, which relieved so much of the stress of finding vendors. You can tell everyone they use works together all the time, which makes the whole experience seamless. For anything not included, Billiam provided excellent recommendations (music, Airbnbs, hair & makeup), which made everything so easy. Throughout it all, Erica and Billiam were patient, reassuring, and accommodating—even when I asked to change our ceremony spot last minute! They welcomed me back to pick a new space and made me feel completely confident. I was also nervous about florals matching with my bridesmaids’ dresses and family colors, and they kept promising me I would love it. They were right—it was beyond perfect. This is the most unique, special farm and venue I’ve ever seen, and it felt exactly like “us.” The entire team—Erica, Billiam, Ivan, Cathy, and everyone involved—are so talented, kind, and detail-oriented. They truly care about making each wedding magical, and it shows in every moment. We could not have asked for more, and we will forever be grateful for the memories they created for us.

I cannot speak highly enough about our experience hosting our wedding at The Curtis House by Gloriosa & Co. My husband and I got married a couple of weeks ago (September 2024) and our wedding was truly one the happiest, best days of our lives thanks to the love and personalization that Gloria and Emma put into planning and executing our day. We were drawn to so many things about the venue, including the charming setting of Ashfield, the rustic but modernized aesthetic of the barn, the beautiful gardens and greenhouse, and the house being an available space to get ready. We were also drawn to the convenience and uniqueness of being able to provide our floral arrangements from Gloria’s greenhouse and gardens on-site, and having all of the food and beverages taken care of through the venue’s catering and bar team. But what made us decide to book this venue for our special day was the attention that Gloria and Emma give each couple. This venue is not your typical wedding factory that puts on weddings multiple times a week, every week of the year; Gloria and Emma host between 12-15 weddings per year and consequently each couple they work with gets full access to the venue the weekend of their wedding and so much guidance during the planning process. We were able to cultivate a vegetarian menu consisting of so many of our favorite foods plus a number of signature dishes of the venue, such as a butternut squash galette that was a crowd favorite. Sustainability is also incredibly important to us as a couple, and Gloria and Emma are committed to sourcing only local, seasonal ingredients for the food and florals and minimizing waste, which meant so much to us. In terms of decor and furnishings, the venue has so much available for couples to use, such as tables, chairs, ceremony benches, several wedding arches to choose from, displays for food or guest favors, tableware, candles, string lights, and more. We did not have to rent or coordinate anything other than the few DIY projects we made, which Gloria and Emma effortlessly integrated into the set up for us. Being able to take care of practically everything through Gloria and Emma made planning so much simpler. On the wedding day, Gloria, Emma, and their team handled the venue set up in a few hours, which happened like a choreographed dance that required practically no work from us or our wedding parties other than providing input and approval along the way. Everything went extremely smoothly and we were able to be fully present. After our ceremony, my husband and I returned to the house, where Gloria had set up champagne and a spread of our hors d'oeuvres for us to enjoy over a few minutes of privacy, which is something she had recommended we do as we took in the moment together. Our guests have had nothing but positive things to say about our wedding and it was clear the day of how much fun everyone had. We have received so many compliments about how beautiful and authentic the venue was, how exquisite Gloria’s floral arrangements were, how delicious all of the food was (even the heavy meat-eaters loved the vegetarian menu), and how this will be a wedding they will always remember. Gloria made us feel like part of her family and we were so happy to be able to support her business. We truly could not have asked for a more memorable, personalized, loving, and beautiful wedding, and hope that many other couples have the pleasure of getting married at this special place.

I cannot recommend this venue more! Not only is it beautiful on the inside but Bryce and Courtney who help run the show put in so much time, effort, and energy into making it the best day you could imagine! After our initial meeting with Bryce it was a no-brainer to go with Novella’s. They were the only venue that said yes to all of our requests and let us make the wedding more catered to us as a couple (DIY stirrers, signage, centerpieces, etc.). They only do 1 wedding a day so you are their main focus for the duration of your day. He will answer your emails, texts, and set up meetings with you if you ask! He also added some ideas we wouldn’t have thought of and walked us through the timeline and process with our goals in mind. Our family/friend’s raved about the food during cocktail hour and dinner. Good portions and great quality! As the bride, I felt they ran a tight ship with no hiccups in sight and were easy to find if I had any questions. My guests said it was a true hidden gem that they didn’t know about but loved! They also have a deal with the local Pastry Garden to give you a custom cake included in the venue cost! The venue is within walking feet of a local hotel who are fabulous to work with and Bryce also let us use the outdoor patio for an amazing after party! Truly just good people to work with and SO easy to trust!

Weeks later, we're still absolutely gushing over the Mansion! It was the perfect venue for our wedding. They had it all, from phenomenal staff to luxurious facilities, not to mention the stunning views. We had the pleasure of working with Alexandra(Alex) we could not have asked for a better person! Alex knew all of our family members and bridal party’s names, and was extremely personable. She went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of all night. She brought me a snack before the ceremony and continuously brought me my water all day and night (without me asking)They truly make you feel like a VIP throughout your entire day and their top notch team(along with our caterer David Alan) ensured that everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. In the early stages of planning we worked with Jessica Hess and she is extremely helpful and communicative. The mansion truly felt like home for the day. We hosted our ceremony on the vista , cocktail hour was on the terrace, and we had dinner in the East ballroom. Guests were in awe of the estate (we also lucked out with absolutely perfect weather), and how every detail was perfectly executed. Our special day was truly a dream and felt like it was out of a movie! We could not recommend the Wadsworth Mansion enough, and can't wait to return for future celebrations. It's definitely well-worth the investment and would 10/10 recommend hosting your special day here!
