“Skyview Golf Club was the PERFECT place to get married! My now husband and I had a blast at this venue and they made the process soo smooth. Hildegard was a huge help and basically held our hand along the way to make sure we checked everything needed to get done. Not to mention, we were planning a wedding across the country so her communication was essential to this process. I couldn't have asked for a better spot. It's also such a naturally beautiful venue that we didn't need to go overboard with the decoration as they already had a lot of stuff on site! I would 100% recommend this location to people and already have to some of my recently engaged friends! Additionally, their partnered vendors were everything we needed as well. Made it so much easier as they had recommendations already on lock. Thank you again Skyview for making our special night the most memorable.”

“Thank you Blenheim Hill Farm for helping orchestrate an absolutely magical wedding weekend for us. Our wedding was truly a fairytale dream come true. The venue itself is breathtaking. The whole farmland was ours for the weekend. I enjoyed morning runs, evening strolls, outdoor yoga, and quality time with the farm animals. There are so many beautiful spots for photos and spaces to find calm. The ceremony takes place with a pond view in the background. The reception is inside a rustic, inviting barn with plenty of space to dance the night away, which we did! The food is incredible. Everything is plated elegantly, like a Michelin star rated restaurant. Our guests enjoyed everything from the appetizers to the desserts. They are also great at catering to any and all dietary restrictions. We had a fully vegan/vegetarian wedding, and it was delicious even for the meat lovers! The staff is exceptional. We felt so cared for and supported throughout our wedding weekend. There was always someone there to answer our questions, and everything fell into place so smoothly. We truly felt the care that went into every moment, both big and small. Financially, it is an investment, and the small add-ons do add up. But honestly, at the end of the weekend, it all felt so completely worth it. We are so happy we chose to have our wedding at Blenheim Hill Farm. It is a beautiful place full of wonderful humans (and goats!).”

“Just had my wedding here and what a time we had :D Devin, the owner, was incredibly easy to work with when planning and was very patient in answering my endless questions. Our guests loved the venue, especially the easy access to the patio during the reception, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. If you want the full effect of the orchards in bloom for your photos, I would wait until later in the season, but we had excellent weather. Great bar selection and everyone got a kick out of the arcade area. 10/10, would recommend!”

“We absolutely loved having our wedding at Full Moon Resort. From the moment we arrived we were received with such warmth and welcome that we knew this was the place for our wedding. With enough place to stay on site for all of our guests we were able to have our dream wedding that felt like a two day adult campground. We loved being able to have people within walking distance of all the activities and not have to worry about transportation for our guests. The grounds are absolutely perfect for a wedding and the event team and the front desk run the whole place like a well oiled machine. Absolutely amazing that they have delicious catering on site and many different options for the wedding ceremony in case of bad weather so there is nothing for the bride to worry about on the day of her wedding. The event team and front desk were able to help us plan the whole wedding weekend and ensure that we did not have any issues coordinating with the venders on the actual day of the wedding which was such a relief or any issues with guest information. The vendor list was also extremely comprehensive and ensured that we only selected the best vendors for our wedding. Our guests didn't want to leave at the end of the weekend and they made us want to get married all over again. Thank you for such an amazing experience and helping us create the wedding weekend that we dreamed of :)”

“We recently held our daughters wedding in the NY Catskills, during the 2025 Fall Foliage season. Our daughter created a cohesive vision that would be embedded throughout all of the wedding events (Rehearsal Dinner; Welcome Party; Wedding Day Ceremony & Reception; After Party and finally the Farewell Brunch). Her goal was to strike that unique vibe and ensure that every guest walked away from the weekend with a long lasting memory that differentiated the experience from most traditional weddings. Coordinating a wedding in the Catskills takes a lot of planning and coordination to deliver that unique experience for guests traveling from all over the country, especially when the attention for detail is a priority. One of the best decisions we made, was to choose French Woods Farmhouse, to be the venue to start & end our wedding weekend. French Woods Farmhouse was the venue for our Welcome Party as well as for our Farewell Brunch. The Welcome Party & Farewell Brunch at French Woods Farmhouse, exceeded our expectations in kicking off the wedding weekend & wrapping it up. The property & layout was so conducive for our Welcome Party & Farewell Brunch goals, in getting our guests quickly immersed into a Catskills Wedding vibe. Some of the featured highlights included: - Full Cocktail Bar - Live Music - Curated Catered Food with Service - Random Gathering Spots for Mingling, Eating & Drinking (including tables, seating, as well as space within their newly renovated barn) - Spontaneous Lighting Elements (on driveway, pond, trees) - Continuous Video Clips, projected on to the side of the barn - Massive Fire Pits for chilling & watching the stars (this was a HUGE hit) And all showcased on a meticulously manicured property that provided our guests with epic views of clear skies, rolling hills, foliage changing landscapes & ponds, all in a secluded space from the rest of the world! All of this would not be possible without the continuous orchestration with the owners of French Woods Farmhouse (Bruce & Denise). Throughout the entire planning process, they were in constant contact with us, as well as coordinating several visits to fine tune all of the details including reviewing various property visuals, layouts & configurations. (They literally created backup layouts as well, in the event of bad weather) They also are well connected in the area, in terms of services, rentals & activities, so when it came time to finalize the many details, they made it SO easy & frictionless. It was incredibly helpful to have their help in coordinating various aspects (eg., rentals, catering, servers, restroom trailers, cleanup crews, parking). While we leveraged French Woods Farmhouse for the Welcome Party & Farewell Brunch, in hindsight we should have also considered the Rehearsal Dinner and After Party events at this venue as well! The space is very dynamic to setup differently for each event scenario. FYI… We also happen to rent the main house for 8 of us to stay for the entire weekend. The attention to detail shown throughout the entire property is impeccable & impressive. The house is WELL stocked with all your needs, anticipating all scenarios & questions one would encounter while staying at their gorgeous home & property. (We also loved the farmhouse décor) Overall cleanliness… the entire house was extremely clean upon stepping in on our first day. Its clear that they prioritize this, as if they were staying themselves.”

“Having our wedding at Handsome Hollow was an absolute dream. Kate and her team are professional, thorough, and beyond helpful before and on the day of the wedding. The location and grounds are stunning! We chose to have our ceremony in the fern forest a little ways up from the barn - it's like walking into a fairytale. The barn is a beautiful reception space that's open, inviting, and even more magical after sunset under the glowing string lights! We had a few guests including a couple of our family members who required assistance walking at certain times, but that was not a problem at all... The team communicates like special special forces to make sure everyone is comfortable and anyone requiring assistance gets shuttled swiftly by an off road buggy wherever they need to go! We also got shuttled as Bride & Groom does have it's privelages :) It was such a relief to know everyone was taken care of. Staying in the guest house was fantastic. The morning of the wedding I got ready upstairs in the barn loft, while my wife had the farmhouse the with hair/makeup and all of that. It's such a cute house, and was so nice to not have any traveling before our big day. Everything you would need is stocked at the farmhouse and help always seemed readily available if needed. It was just the relaxed easy going atmosphere we needed to chill out as much as possible before the wedding. There are so many great nooks and places for photo ops at Handsome Hollow! For a summer day it wasn't too hot at all, maybe the elevation helps a bit with that! It was warm before the ceremony when we took some photos in the sun, but we just cooled down in the farmhouse afterwards. The ceremony in the fern garden was under cover of trees so it was perfectly cool (both temperature and vibes!) The barn just seems to stay cool also, so that was no issue at all. We didn't get a chance to eat our desserts, so the team brought them up to the farmhouse for us to enjoy after the wedding was over. It's that level of hospitality, and so appreciated. My only regret is that I couldn't split myself into two people so I could not only get married, but also see the food buffet, see the s'mores by the campfire, watch our first dance (we nailed it!!). Luckily we had a phenomenal wedding planner (Lauren / Wild Blooms Bridal), and phenomenal photographer (Joshua Brown) to compliment the venue! It was truly an amazing day, and we can't thank you enough. You cannot go wrong with Handsome Hollow!!!”

“TLW was the absolute best venue for our wedding. They let us bring a bouncy house obstacle course onto the property, and even had a vendor recommendation. Throughout our literal hundreds of emails back-and-forth, they were professional, friendly, and prompt in their reply. Our guests had so much fun, and TLW did a fantastic job accommodating our guests' various dietary restrictions. TLW also did a great job communicating with our other vendors. It was a dream to work with TLW - the food was delicious, all of their staff were friendly and welcoming, and the venue itself cannot be beat. The kids (and adults) had a wonderful time enjoying the goats on site, the swimming pool, and the go-karts! The go-karts are an absolute must-have add-on to any wedding, it is all anyone could talk about afterwards. It was so much fun! I also caught my first fish during my wedding weekend, and had an absolute blast! Thank you so much Justin for being such a great communicator and venue partner!”

“Yes! CHOOSE THIS VENUE!! You’ve found the right place! We are finally getting around to posting our review about the most perfect wedding venue we could have imagined! We saw Maple Shade November ‘22 when we were ‘shopping’ for a wedding venue; choosing it was a no brainer. The barn itself is unique and different than any others we have seen and it comes with everything. Dining area upstairs, separate from the cocktail hour, dancing, downstairs bar, lounge area, game room (this place has it all!). Long farm tables are gorgeous within themselves and need minimal decorations. And with the venue having SO MUCH on site, there was no need for us to order and prepare any other decor items like we would have needed at some of the ‘Blank Canvas’ barns we initially considered. The barn sits on acres and acres of land, giving you the option of where to have your ceremony, we chose right in front of the pond where our wedding party had a grand entrance from the large barn doors. MAGICAL! Enough about the venue, although we hope this paints an accurate picture! Everything you could need is there!! More importantly, Jay and Abby Wilson (owners of Maple Shade) are absolute rockstars. From our first visit and follow up phone call, we knew working together would be a breeze. They were helpful in our initial planning stages, helping us plan different details, offering extremely helpful advice. Wedding day they were like conductors of an orchestra, making sure everyone and everything were in place and running according to plan. It was PERFECT! And when uncontrollable things don’t go to plan, they had us covered! On our wedding day in late July, there was a high percentage of rain expected only during the time of our ceremony; Jay and Abby made the call that morning to put up a tent and made all the adjustments needed without causing bride and groom any extra stress… THANK GOD they did - it literally monsooned during the ceremony, like nothing we've seen before at an outdoor wedding! (Just a fluke storm rolling though). They reminded us that as a bride and groom getting married at their venue, they make the same decisions for us and our guests that they would make for their own children. They are kind and caring and so fun, and certainly know how to run a wedding venue. We respected, trusted and appreciated all their knowledge and hard work. It’s definitely not their first rodeo! As we will continue to call this day "the best day ever," we are very grateful to Jay and Abby for all of their help, attention to detail, and their ability to see and understand our vision for the most perfect wedding we could have imagined. Ps- they made a few recommendations for supplementary vendors (catering, DJ, bartenders) and all their recommendations were also HOME RUNS! It was such a smooth operation.”

At The North Branch Inn, we see hospitality as a calling. Our approach is thoughtful, intentional, and sustainable. “My wife and I held our wedding weekend at The North Branch Inn this October and could not have had a better experience - we can't recommend The North Branch Inn enough! The grounds are stunning - with beautiful 7 acres to spread out in for different events including a tucked away creekside ceremony space, lovely gardens for the cocktail hour, and a huge space for a tented outdoor wedding, firepits, and more. The historic buildings are equally lovely. We loved having our family and close friends on site where we could all be together. The accommodations are excellent - the room we stayed in was huge and even came with an attached covered porch that we could use for our wedding storage (which was so great to have), and we loved soaking in the clawfoot tub the day after our wedding. The lounges in each building also are great - with lots of different spaces to congregate. The food is EXCEPTIONAL and was one of the top reasons we chose our venue. We knew Chef Jake would create a beautiful special menu for our wedding and for all of the other weekend events, and he did not disappoint. So many of our guests told us this was the best wedding food they had ever had, and the guests that stayed on site all also raved about the delicious breakfasts each morning. Most importantly, choosing to work with Caroline and Jake, who own the inn, we think was the best choice we made for our wedding. Caroline is so communicative, answered every email we sent quickly, and just went above and beyond on the details to make sure our event was seamless. All of the staff did a phenomenal job and you can really feel the love in this very special place. We'd give them 500 stars if Zola would let us.”

“My husband and I got married at The Arnold House on December 7, 2024, and it was truly the most perfect winter wedding weekend—we wouldn’t change a thing! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the venue, with many comparing it to something straight out of a Hallmark movie. The property is absolutely magical. From the moment we visited, we fell in love with The Arnold House and knew we couldn’t wait to share it with our loved ones. The food, the ambiance, the cozy spaces throughout the property, and the beautifully appointed rooms all contribute to making this venue one-of-a-kind in the Catskills. The entire staff was amazing—everyone, from the wonderful kitchen team to the bartenders (shoutout to Kyle!), the front desk crew, and all the behind-the-scenes staff—went above and beyond to make our day special. A huge thank you to Emily & Will, who were absolute rockstars! They helped bring our vision to life with their organizational skills and attention to detail, guiding us every step of the way from the minute we booked to the day after the wedding. Everyone made sure that everything was perfect! We stumbled upon The Arnold House through Instagram in February 2024, and after visiting for lunch at the tavern the very next day, we were sold. The winter vibe, the barn, the greenhouse, cozy indoor fires, and outdoor firepits were everything we had dreamed of for our wedding. We visited again in the summer and fall, and no matter the season, The Arnold House always leaves you eager to plan your next visit. If you’re searching for a beautiful, intimate wedding weekend with a team of experienced professionals who truly care about bringing your vision to life, The Arnold House is the place for you!”

“Our wedding weekend here was nothing short of perfect, and we owe so much of that to this incredible venue and their team. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely taken care of—stress-free, smiling ear to ear, and overwhelmingly grateful for the people making it all possible. Every detail was handled with such care—from coordination and organization to thoughtful touches throughout the weekend. The setting itself is stunning—the views left our guests in awe—and the food was absolutely fantastic. Having the chance to celebrate with our loved ones over an entire weekend, instead of just a few hours, was truly priceless. Goat yoga ended up being one of the most talked-about events, and our guests are still raving about it. The staff deserves the highest praise. Brandon, Katie, John, and Shelby went above and beyond to make us and our families feel welcome and supported. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made the entire experience seamless. Their list of trusted vendors also made planning so much easier, and we truly couldn’t have imagined a better fit for our celebration. Their help through the planning process was instrumental in planning a wedding weekend in just 5 months!! Our guests are still asking how we found such a magical place, and the truth is—we feel incredibly lucky. We are endlessly grateful to the entire team for making our wedding not just smooth, but truly the best weekend of our lives. If you’re looking for a venue that combines breathtaking views, amazing food, incredible accommodations, and a staff that makes you feel like family—look no further. “Choosing Beaverkill Valley Inn as our wedding venue was an absolute dream come true - it's not just one of the best decisions we've made for our wedding. The memories we created there, the truly exceptional hospitality of the staff, the meticulous attention to every tiny detail, and the cuisine were simply out of this world. Diana and Kaitlyn are more than just professionals; they're wedding day superheroes. Their unwavering calm and ingenious problem-solving skills are exactly what every couple needs, especially when facing unpredictable weather or guest-related challenges. They consistently went above and beyond our wildest expectations. Chef Tommy curated a delicious menu and our guests were absolutely gushing about how delicious the food was. It’s rare that wedding food feels restaurant quality but at BVI it is! Every dish was cooked to perfection and was full of flavor. The staff at BVI consistently exceeds expectations. Every time I encountered a staff member, they genuinely inquired about my well-being, offered assistance, and sought ways to alleviate any wedding day stress. It was a truly remarkable experience. Beaverkill Valley Inn's setting is perfect - an ideal location for gathering your guests for a weekend getaway. From the welcoming front porch to the cozy fireplaces and the expansive property complete with bonfires to conclude your evening, it offers everything you could want. Our guests were constantly amazed, often asking, "How did you find this incredible place?" Their admiration extended to the Inn's staff as well. Words can't fully capture the magic of this place, but I'm eternally grateful that we chose Beaverkill Valley Inn for our special day. “We are absolutely at a loss for words to describe how incredible our wedding at Plattekill Mountain was. From the moment we pulled up to the venue, we knew this place was something truly special. The breathtaking scenery alone sets the stage for a magical day, but what really makes Plattekill stand out is the incredible team behind it. Danielle, Autumn, Shannon, Bob, and every single person we interacted with went above and beyond in ways we couldn’t have imagined. This venue is gorgeous, but it’s the staff that truly makes it shine. They are so well-polished, so professional, and yet so warm and caring at the same time. It’s clear that they’re not just in the wedding business—they’re creating memories and crafting perfect experiences with love and intention. From day one, they made us feel like our wedding was just as important to them as it was to us. Every little detail was handled with such care, and every suggestion they gave us made our day that much more magical. There is something undeniably special happening at Plattekill Mountain, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have had our wedding there. Our friends and family are still telling us it was the best wedding they've ever been to, and we agree—it was the best weekend of our lives. If you're browsing venues and Plattekill has caught your eye, stop looking. This is the strongest recommendation I will ever give. Not only will you have no regrets, but it will be the most beautiful, joyful, and unforgettable day of your life.
