Original Weddings was incredible from start to finish. Andre and Sean were great to work with. They were super easygoing, professional, and made us feel comfortable the entire time. They captured our wedding beautifully and didn’t miss a single moment that mattered. We also really appreciated that they were able to accommodate an engagement session in LA even though our wedding was in the Bay Area. That flexibility meant a lot to us and made the whole experience feel seamless. On top of that, their turnaround time was amazing. We received our full gallery in just a week and a half, which honestly exceeded all expectations. Couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out, highly recommend!

"We had first met with Chris in person for a meet and greet, which I would have never thought to play such an integral role in the process. He demonstrated so much passion for the trade and was so invested in making sure he was exactly the photographer we were looking for so we could truly get the most out of our day. " - Steph

Every experience we had with Chris was incredible. On the intro call, we immediately knew Chris was the one for us. He's calm, confident, entertaining, and thoughtful. Although we had cheaper quotes, we knew Chris would be the one to capture the moments for us to cherish for the rest of our lives. And in looking at the photos he captured of our wedding, we were 100% correct. Chris has an incredible eye for wedding magic. He makes everyone feel comfortable in his presence, and we love how candid his photography is. He's wonderful at capturing quiet moments as well as the motion of dance (see his awesome action shots below!). He doesn't just focus on us as a couple - he captured beautiful portraits of our friends and family that immediate bring us back to the moments. Chris's photography is a work of art, a vignette of the most magical days of our lives, and we are so grateful to have chosen Chris as our photographer. If you're looking for an artist to transport you to your most magical day when you look at his photographs, run - don't walk. He books up fast!

We had the pleasure of working with QH Concept LLC for our elopement photoshoot in Singapore, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience and the results! As a professional photographer myself, I (An) am naturally quite particular about quality, creativity, and equipment. QH Concept exceeded every expectation! First and foremost, their creativity is unparalleled. Hayley and Daniel approached our photoshoot with fresh, artistic ideas that perfectly captured our personalities and the emotions of the day. They have an incredible ability to turn any setting into a stunning work of art and also fun photos that we want. Their friendly and approachable method made the entire experience truly enjoyable. From the very start, they helped us feel at ease in front of the camera, which is no small feat considering how nerve-wracking it can sometimes be. Their warm and professional approach made it easy for us to relax and just be ourselves, and it really shows in the photos. Another standout aspect is their top-of-the-line equipment. As someone who understands the importance of good gear, I was genuinely impressed with the level of investment QH Concept has made in their tools. This, combined with their outstanding technical skills, ensured that every shot was crisp, vibrant, and beautifully composed. We can’t recommend QH Concept LLC highly enough! If you’re looking for a team that combines creativity, professionalism, and a friendly touch to deliver incredible results, they are the ones to call. Thank you, Hayley and Daniel, for making our special day so unforgettable!

Yes, the pictures were beautiful. They perfectly captured everything I asked for, I look at them ALL the time, and that’s important. But what sets her above the rest was how easy and fun she was to work with!! We planned a destination micro wedding in a city we had only been to once, which should have been so stressful but she made sure everything was thought of and planned out for us without even an ounce of worry. I cannot speak highly enough of her and her services, she MADE my wedding what it was. Worth every. Single. Penny.

Hello there new friend! My name is Jo and it is SO great to meet you! I am a wedding, elopement... and pretty much all things love- photographer based in the incredible city of Boston, Massachusetts! I'm a hopeless romantic at heart! And if there's one thing in this life that I absolutely adore, it's a GOOD love story. If I had to pick a second thing, it would be working with couples that are authentic, joyful, and unapologetically themselves. So as you can imagine, weddings and elopements are my absolute FAVORITE! Joining along on the happiest day of your life is a dream, and I adore all the moments I get to share with my couples!

Awarded Best of Zola
Words can't actually fully describe how grateful my husband and I were to be able to work with Jo for our September 2024 wedding (and our engagement session before that). First of all, Jo traveled from Boston to a farm in VT, and not only did she and her wonderful assistant Janah keep our big families ahead of schedule with the family photos ahead of the ceremony, but they used their expertise to help direct us in the moment in a clear and fun way that made the experience a complete delight. Our guests couldn't stop raving about their professionalism and ability to pivot quickly and capture any moment. Jo shared the finished gallery with us much faster than anticipated, which was a wonderful surprise. She also has a really intuitive way of grouping the photos together so it makes it easy to look through, find your favorites, and share with others. Looking back on our gallery, we have hundreds of gorgeous photos spanning unforgettable candids to formals with families, all of which we will cherish for the rest of our lives. If you have the opportunity to work with Jo - don't think twice! You won't regret it.

Summer St Films
Rating: 5.0 (16 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Serves Dorchester, MA

Summer St Films is a Boston-based wedding photography and videography studio rooted in a cinematic documentary approach. We focus on real moments as they naturally unfold — the quiet anticipation, the in-between glances, the subtle gestures that often go unnoticed. Our work is less about directing and more about observing, allowing space for the day to move honestly. The goal is simple: to create images and films that feel timeless, atmospheric, and true to how it actually felt to be there.

Awarded Best of Zola
Summer St Films was the perfect choice for our wedding photography. From our very first interaction, their communication style was inspiring, encouraging and warm, which immediately put us at ease. The quality of their work was truly professional, precise and excellent - they captured all the special moments of our day beautifully. They were very skilled at navigating the city hall setting, and had a knack for finding unique and creative angles to photograph us. Their passion and new ideas for capturing the day were so refreshing, going beyond the typical template shots. I would highly recommend Summer St Films to any couple looking for an exceptional wedding photography experience.

We chose to work with Aaron because he brings something different to the table. He doesn’t just capture the usual wedding photos of family members uncomfortably standing arm to arm with painfully forced smiles on. Instead, he carefully finds beautiful geometries in the buildings or light poking through a forgotten window. His photos are thoughtful, well-planned, and artistic. His subject and backgrounds blend together in a perfect unity that captures special moments in ways you didn’t think were possible. Aaron is incredibly easy to work with and will keep you laughing throughout the day. You won’t regret working with him.

My work is inspired by romantic minimalism, modern elegance, and non-traditional perspectives. From stolen glances to joyous celebrations, I strive to capture what is at the heart of your relationship, weaving together a narrative that is uniquely yours. I blend a unique mix of documentary and editorial style photography in my craft: the documentary style to capture the events of your day in close detail, and the editorial style to provide copious amounts of posing guidance so you and your loved ones feel confident that you look like your absolute best in your photos.

Sravya did an amazing job with our wedding photos- we’re thrilled with them. Neither my husband or I would describe ourselves as photogenic, but Sravya found a way! She was creative and thoughtful with our family photos, portraits, and was able to capture so many aspects of the night. She was so easy to communicate with before the date and did a great job listening to how we wanted our wedding day captured. Can’t say enough great things- I highly recommend Sravya to anyone!!

Authentic moments and real love stories. Wedding photos that feel like you. For me, the most important part of your wedding day is that you enjoy it. I have 10+ years and 200+ weddings of experience, and I genuinely love my job. Queer/LGBTQ+ friendly - always.

Awarded Best of Zola
I feel so passionately about recommending Sasha I don't even know where to begin! My fiancee and I, as well as several members of our wedding party, have not stopped talking about how great she was since our wedding a couple weeks ago. Sasha did our photos for both our engagement shoot and our wedding. When we started wedding planning, it was important to us to hire vendors who not only aligned with a product we wanted and our price range, but also who were kind, good people we'd want to spend our wedding day with. Some vendors fell short, but Sasha made up for it and then some. First of all, Sasha is EXTREMELY talented. She really captures your essence in her work and several people commented to me that they could "feel" our wedding and emotions through our photos. Her photos are not cheesy or contrived, which was something we knew we wanted when hiring a photographer, and her values aligned with what we were looking for. She is very talented at working with lighting in special and artistic ways. She will "yes and" every single one of your ideas and suggestions for your photos, and really listens to your requests and preferences. Beyond all of this, even if I hated the photos (which is far from the case, I love them so much), I would hire her again and again. Your photographer is someone you spend a LOT of time with on your wedding day. Having someone with good, calm, kind energy who you vibe with is really important. I had a somewhat rough start to my day, getting a bit overwhelmed and behind schedule. Sasha was exactly the person I needed to be with to help ground and calm the energy of everything when it otherwise felt chaotic. She is cool as a cucumber under pressure, kind to every single person she meets, carries such a positive energy, and is a true professional at pivoting/troubleshooting when something goes wrong. She's also a quiet leader who will help keep your wedding running smoothly, pay attention to your timeline, etc. We had a giant wedding party and she somehow corralled people very quickly to get all the group shots we requested, so that I never had to think about it. On the wedding day, as others have said, she was somehow everywhere, but in the least obstructive way possible. I didn't even notice her during the reception or ceremony yet somehow she captured amazing pictures from lots of amazing angles. Leading up to the wedding, Sasha was a delight to work with. She was VERY responsive and willing to meet with us both over the phone and in person. She took the time to do a walk-through of our venue with us, which put me at ease to scope out where we'd take pictures. She even hopped on a Zoom call with us while on her vacation the week before our wedding. Last but not least, Sasha got us our engagement pictures AND our wedding gallery preview much faster than anticipated! If I sound slightly crazed in my obsession for Sasha, it's because I am lol. Sasha's beautiful spirit matches her the high level of talent and artistry in her work. This is your sign to hire her!

Brooke Seminick Photography
Rating: 5.0 (8 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Dorchester, MA

Hi, I'm Brooke (she/they) I'm a Massachusetts based wedding & elopement photographer. A client once told me that I captured things in their wedding photos that until then they had only ever felt. I saw this as the ultimate compliment. My goal in every session is to do just that: Turn an intangible feeling into a tangible image that will make your heart soar every time you see it. But what does love look like?

Awarded Best of Zola
When I say that Brooke went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect, I truly mean it. When my wife and I decided to get married, one of our biggest concerns as a T4T couple was finding a photographer who was someone that could make us both feel comfortable showing up as our authentic selves. I’ve known Brooke for over 10 years and have always known they were an amazing human being inside and out, so when I discovered that she was diving into wedding photography (this was back in 2019) I knew exactly who to go to. When it comes to our trans identities, unlike many wedding vendors who just treat that like some major issue or something they need to be like “stepping on glass” to deal with, Brooke handled our wedding with nothing but the uttermost respect, dignity, ease and kindness. In addition to being queer friendly, she also is just so amazing at making you feel good behind the camera. My wife and I are extremely awkward picture takers and I was so worried that’s what you would get from our photos. But that was NOT even remotely the case. We adored the outcome of our photos because we just look so naturally happy and in love. The photos still, even now, bring so much joy to my heart when I look at them. They will probably be my forever background photos on my phone so I can always see them for that reason. I will forever be grateful for choosing Brooke to work with, and any photo needs that I have in the future will always be in Brooke’s hands, as now I trust no one else to make us look as good. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would!!!!

Whiting Photography
Rating: 5.0 (9 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style

I'm not a stand-in-the-corner photographer. I love being welcomed in as part of the family. Most of all, I want to you be comfortable with me at your wedding so you can just enjoy your day. It’s just one less thing to worry about knowing that you have a friend there to capture all of the candid, emotional, hysterical and real moments that will happen throughout your day.

When we got engaged and planned a winter wedding we knew we wanted a photographer who would be able to capture the romance of the season through light and color. The galleries on the Whiting Photography website did just that! Stephen has an incredible way of making photos feel personal regardless of whether you know the couple/family or not. When we got to meet Stephen through Zoom my husband and I both agreed that he would not only do a great job capturing the love and happiness we share, but also be an awesome person to hangout with on the most important day of our lives. We weren’t able to do an engagement session with him, but got to meet in person a year before our wedding and scope out picture locations. Our first impressions from Zoom were absolutely correct. Stephen was professional, talented, and friendly. We knew he would get along great with our family and friends. Throughout our engagement Stephen was communicative and helpful with all things photo and even recommended other vendors. He is someone whose opinion we trust and would go to him for his thoughts and ideas, such as “What is it like when the bride walks down the aisle alone?“ On the day of our wedding Stephen arrived and got right to work! He stayed out of the way of hair and makeup, capturing detail shots while we finished final touches. During such a chaotic morning this was majorly appreciated. I truly believe that the wedding party fed off of his calm and supportive mood making the afternoon a breeze. The additional treats that Whiting Photography offers, such as the heirloom albums and The Zebra Booth are really what set him apart from other photographers. Being able to get the photo booth pictures the same night as our wedding was great. It gave us something to look at the next day and our guests loved it! They also commented on how much they loved Stephen, but duh. Not even two days later Stephen sent us a HUGE sneak peek which had us in tears. The love, light & romance we hired Stephen for was absolutely captured and then some. We cannot wait to get together to create our album, and hopefully schedule family shoots in the future.

I think there’s a real absence of authenticity in today’s world. Everywhere we look, people are polishing themselves into a perfect image for the internet. But that’s not where the beauty is. The beauty lives in the real moments — the big, loud, messy, emotional, human ones you can’t stage or script. That’s what I chase. Since 2016, I’ve been documenting weddings for couples who want to feel present, relaxed, and fully themselves. I gravitate toward the candid, the unplanned, the way a glance turns into laughter and a quiet moment becomes unforgettable.

Awarded Best of Zola
Steve was incredible to work with from start to finish! We had a very low-key and DIY elopement and he got us instantly. His manner in initial calls was warm and eager to learn about what we wanted and who we were as a couple, ongoing planning with him was always super clear, and on the day of he made us feel completely at-ease. His eye is incredible, and he not only managed to get very natural shots while working around every possible jogger on the esplanade but also was an absolute joy to work with.

I started my business with the goal of creating an experience for those who might be looking for something more authentic and unposed.

Kayla was the perfect fit for our wedding. We were looking for someone who would be able to do candid shots well, and she perfectly captured tears of joy, laughter, and a night full of dancing. We so appreciated her prompt responses and organization, and she coordinated wedding albums for us and our parents afterwards, helping me put together beautiful albums without the stress of designing it myself (admittedly not my strongsuit). We hope to find an excuse to work with her again soon!

Hi there! I’m Alexandria, a wedding and lifestyle photographer based in the Boston area. I’ve been in love with storytelling through photos since I picked up my first camera at just eight years old. My goal is simple: to create timeless, authentic images that reflect the joy, love, and little in-between moments that make your day uniquely yours. Before I turned my focus to weddings, I built my career photographing red carpets and editorials for Popstar! and Cosplay Culture Magazine, where I had the chance to work with artists like One Direction, Bella Thorne, and Stephen Baldwin.

Alex graciously shot our engagement and post-engagement festivities and did a fantastic job capturing the weekend. Alex is incredibly professional - she already scouted the locations and knew where to shoot, while still provided a fun and carefree experience. She brought a creative energy that made the photo session feel relaxed and enjoyable. The final photos were absolutely beautiful - timeless shots that captured all the special moments of our engagement weekend. The quick turnaround was also impressive, as we received the full gallery shortly after the event. AKM Photography came prepared, knew exactly where to shoot for the best lighting and backdrops, and were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We couldn't be happier with the photos that will help us remember our engagement weekend forever.

Nathan did our court wedding photos, and we couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. We had a big group with us, which can be a lot to manage, but he was incredibly patient and made sure everyone looked great in the shots. Despite the limitations of a courthouse setting, he came in with creative ideas that really made the photos stand out. He’s a perfectionist in the best way—very detail-oriented, professional, and easy to communicate with. He walked us through everything clearly and made sure we felt comfortable throughout the whole shoot. You can tell he genuinely cares about getting it right, and it shows in the final pictures. A Boston Wedding & Elopement Photographer The little moments can reveal so much "How do you want to spend your day?" It’s the question I ask every potential client, and almost always, the answer involves spending the day with the people who matter most. They want their photography to reflect their joy and the genuine emotions of the day. They seek artistry and authenticity, desiring a collection of images that speak to them on a fundamental level. They want to be present on their wedding day and they don’t have to perform for a photograph. I’m a documentary wedding photographer and that’s exactly what I do.

As much as Angie's photos speak for themselves, I've got a word or two to say myself: This photographer is THE ONE to capture your big day! We were initially drawn to the natural yet electric feel of Angie's work. The joy of her subjects feels very real -- because it is. Angie is there to capture real joy and real beauty and real love, not to force it through posing or a trick of the light. Her passion is for people and for love itself, and that's what makes her work second to none! Like I wrote above: these stunning shots very much speak for themselves (and they say "joy," "love," "BLISS!" and everything else we experienced on our wedding day) But Angie's talent isn't the only reason to hire her. She is a kind professional with a calming presence and a "sixth sense" for when & where to capture the perfect shot. She's got an artist's eye, and sought out unique locations & lighting to make the most out of our photoshoot around the MASS MoCA campus. (Check out that silhouette of our profiles! A spontaneous idea of hers ;) ) While we were still in the planning stage, Angie took the time to regularly check in with us and prepare. Whenever we were on the phone with her, it felt like she was in the room with us! Her friendliness and passion came through in our conversations, and we felt relieved knowing that we wouldn't have to worry about how we might "get along" with our photographer on our wedding day. Once Angie arrived on the day-of, everything felt natural. Throughout the day & evening, we never felt "overwhelmed" by her presence, yet she was always there to snap the most animated moments. And not just our most animated moments -- the photos of our guests are so charged with emotion, we can hear & feel them! Our favorite part of going through our wedding album has been seeing the joy on our guests' faces, all captured by Angie. Whenever we want to relive that night -- or live a new part of it that we didn't get to see -- our experience and all of our guests' unique experiences are just a few clicks away. I knew her photos would be beautiful, but I didn't anticipate this....totally immersive quality. Each shot is like a portal straight back to the moment it captures. These photos are ALIVE, and we are so grateful! Thank you, Angie, for all of the perfect lil picture-portals 333

Born and raised in Maine, I dream of one day retiring there by the sea, like a real life Miss Rumphius. But until then, I live just outside of Boston with my husband and our three cats. I'm married to my high school sweetheart, but we waited more than a decade before saying our own vows. Sometimes (okay, often) I eat cake for breakfast, so you can always count on me to help taste test yours. If I'm not photographing people in love, I'm probably enjoying a glass (bottle) of champagne on the couch or planning my next adventure. I believe everything is better by the ocean and you should never wait to explore the world.

As a wedding planner, I work with a lot of photographers, and Kendra remains one of my all-time favorites to know and work with. She is organized and professional, puts all of her couples at ease, and above all else, her work is stunning. The way she captures color, emotion, and details - plus all of the candid moments - is so special and can be hard to come by! I recommend Kendra to all of my couples, and everyone that knows her feels an immediate connection. She's one of those people that feels like an old friend right away, and is so good at making everyone around her feel comfortable and supported. I'd highly recommend hiring Kendra as your wedding photographer!

I am a wedding & portrait photographer and event planner based out of The Berkshires, MA. As an avid traveller, and photographer for the better part of a decade, I am constantly in awe of the human existence, and how we connect. As a wedding photographer, I aim to capture your wedding moments as they unfold. For me, the beautiful part about weddings is the celebration of life, love, unscripted moments (and all that comes with it). In all of the happy tears, big laughs and tight hugs. It is my wish to not only see these beautiful memories in photographs, but truly see the people in them.

Seriously, look no further for your wedding / engagement photographer! Finding a photographer was one of our top priorities when we initially started looking for wedding vendors and we cannot sing Abigail's praises enough. After months of research, we ended up choosing Abigail for her professionalism, warmth and artistic eye and it was one of the best decisions we made. She is extremely talented and did an incredible job capturing portraits and candid moments during our Korean Paebek and our wedding ceremony. Every single person we have shown our gallery to raves about the pictures and I have already referred Abigail to a number of other engaged couples. She was sincerely a joy to work with, made me and my husband feel at ease and captured absolutely stunning photographs that we will cherish for decades to come.

New England wedding & lifestyle photographer. Boston based, available for travel. I’ve been obsessed with weddings and photography for my entire life, so naturally when I graduated from college I immediately started this business. I fell in love with it after the very first wedding I shot back in 2012 and every day I have to pinch myself because I truly LOVE my job. There is nothing I'd rather be doing than this!

We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Anne! From start to finish, she was absolutely incredible. Not only did we have the most perfect wedding day, but Anne captured it in a way that lets us relive every moment over and over again. Anne brought such a calming presence to the day and made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera. She captured every smile, every happy tear, every little moment in such a genuine way. We’re endlessly grateful for Anne’s talent, professionalism, and kindness. We can’t recommend Anne highly enough, not just for weddings, but for any special event where you want genuine, beautifully captured memories to last a lifetime. Anne was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and we can't wait to work with her again!

Hey – I am so glad you are here! I am a professional wedding photographer based in Boston and I LOVE MY JOB! I have an Irish Doodle named Brooklyn that keeps me busy when I’m not photographing couples. This is my 10th year in business with over 500 weddings and elopements photographed. I discovered my love of photographing couples while I was working at Apple (super nerd over here) and it's been my passion ever since. Although I am based in Boston, I do travel for destination weddings and elopements (I also plan them) so do not hesitate to reach out!

Erin is, without a doubt, the most incredible person and photographer we could have ever hoped to work with. From start to finish, she brought an energy and enthusiasm that lit up every moment of our wedding journey. Her attention to detail and her rare ability to capture raw emotion in her work set her apart in ways we never imagined. Every interaction with Erin felt like catching up with a lifelong friend. She approached every meeting, every question, and every detail with such genuine joy that it made the entire process truly incredible. Erin has an extraordinary gift for making you feel comfortable and at ease, and the results are nothing short of breathtaking. The photographs she delivered are timeless and beautifully capture the essence of our day. She didn't just take photos—she preserved moments, emotions, and memories that we’ll cherish forever. If you're looking for a photographer in Boston or beyond, look no further than Erin. She is truly the most genuine person we’ve ever met.

When I was a kid growing up in Michigan, I was always fooling around with my mom’s old manual cameras and capturing everything my friends and I did. I took traditional art classes in high school, but even then, I was merely creating paintings of the photos I had taken. I went on to study documentary photography at the Maryland Institute of Art and abroad at the University of Wales, where I won the Nikon Discovery Award Grand Prize and was named one of the 25 Under 25 Up-and-Coming American Photographers. When a friend asked me to assist at a wedding she was photographing, and my plans changed in an instant.

Where do we even begin!? I feel so lucky that we found Gina. From the minute that we met her, we knew we wanted to work with her. Beyond being in love with her past work, she was kind and patient and warm and genuine -- she expressed just as much excitement about planning for our wedding as we did. She went above and beyond to answer our questions and was always offering to help in any way she could, even beyond photography-related things! She really took the time to get to know us and to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. We first met with Gina about 10 months before our actual wedding, but from there on out, she made a constant effort to check in all throughout our planning process and was incredibly helpful when it came time to planning our day-of timeline. She never hesitated to offer her expertise and always made time for us! She always made me, and my family, feel like a priority and I was so appreciative of that. Nothing like a little good luck rain on your wedding day, and in our case, it was torrential downpours! This threw a bit of wrench in our outdoor photo plans, but Gina jumped right in to help seamlessly transition our whole wedding party to our rain plan and made sure that we still got all the photos that we wanted. She braved the weather with us, sloshed around in the rain, ran in and out of neighborhood bars and never missed a beat -- all to make sure we got all the best pictures. I already knew this, of course, but so many of our friends and family members made a point to tell me how wonderful Gina was to have around us that day -- she captured the quiet moments and you didn't even know she was there, and then she jumped in to help keep everyone organized and on time through lots of pictures on a tight schedule, and still made sure everyone had fun! Our wedding photos came out better than I could have ever expected. She has an amazing way of capturing the magic of the moments -- big and small -- and every day when I look back through all the pictures, I get to re-live it all. She truly captured every emotion so beautifully -- all the laughs and tears and excitement and love. While the night went by way too fast, we're so lucky to have all of these beautiful photos to look back at forever and can't begin to thank Gina enough for making that possible. She's the best!!
