“After looking at many other venues, this one was booked on the spot because of its beauty, charm and it is so affordable for everything that you receive. There were so many scenic pictures taken because you have views for miles, foresty and the plains. They have a beautiful castle that guests enjoyed seeing, cool vintage campers and an antique yellow truck for wonderful backdrops. We had over 140 guests and there was plenty of room in the venue, outside on the deck and around the campers. The owners are very kind and laid back. We went out a few months before the wedding to see how our decor would look, a walk through with the caterer & coordinator and the rehearsal and weren't charged any additional time fees. They have multiple props in storage that you can use for decor. I also appreciated that you aren't required to use certain vendors which really saves money as well. The extra bonus to this hidden gem is a double wide, remodeled mobile home with decks to use as an area to get ready in. There was so much space for the bridal party and families to hang out in and enjoy getting ready without being in tight quarters. We received so many compliments from guests about what an amazing location it was. So, so happy with our decision and wish we could relive the day over again!”

“We are the wedding couple from the weekend of 9-18-26. We are nothing but amazed by how everything turned out. Jordan and her staff did an amazing job combining what she had with the decor we brought. She make our vision come to life. Though the venue is a drive it is incredible worth it. The scenery to the venue it’s self. Jordan the owner is amazing. She helped us every step of the way. She did my hair and makeup better than I could have imagined. Jordan seems to have a back up plan for pretty much everything. We had light sprinkles during ceremony but boy do that weather come for us during the reception. Jordan didn’t panic but instead got everyone in the barn where we continued reception. Protected our important decor like family photos during the rain. Please if you are willing to make the drive, Please look into The Wrangler Ranch! We looked for a wedding venue left with a friendship!”

“Once upon a time there was the most perfect wedding venue called The Oaks - from the staff to the service, the grand foyer, the suites, the food, the drinks, the party....just....1,000%. If you are thinking about booking it, please do snag that date ASAP as they become fully booked. It's not their fault they're so popular... I got married recently and was lucky enough to snag our date for 2025 in the summer of 2024, and things could not have been more perfect from the initial visit with ALEX LEIGH until the very last sendoff. Alex, (you rock!!!!!) our coordinator, was the one who helped all of our dreams come true.. She was truly the heart and soul of our wedding day and the fairy godmother of weddings. Forgot a lint brush? She has it. Bobby pins? Check. Don't know how to fill out your wedding license or where to stand at the ceremony? Yes she can do that too. At one point in the night she delivered me champagne and even helped me adjust and bustle my dress. Hello- this girl has it all. Alex literally coached us throughout so we could make the day as flawless as possible. Nothing was ever too much and she has the patience of a saint throughout the entire planning process, she was a dream to work with. For a bride who planned her entire wedding herself, who thought she thought of everything, ALEX was the one who was one step ahead of my Type A behind that night!! She truly never ever missed a beat for a good 15 months of our planning process. She had wonderful recommendations from decor to vendors (they have an amazing list of preferred vendors), to in-house food. From the very beginning, her friendly and approachable demeanor made planning feel so easy and enjoyable. She always made time to answer questions, offered thoughtful suggestions, and made sure every little detail was handled perfectly. I also appreciated the thoughtful service the Oaks provided. An A staffing group helps your day go smoothly with packing and unpacking your car, they truly delivered white glove service which was highly valued and fairly priced. ZANDER particularly stuck out to all of us offering golf cart rides down the hill for some guests to serving us appetizers when we sat down because we had missed them. Literally he was always so smiley and nice, I just appreciated the entire staff so much that day. They should be praised!! The day's timeline ran seamlessly, every vendor was exactly where they needed to be, and the entire day flowed effortlessly thanks to their impeccable organization and calm, confident presence. At our tasting earlier this year, Luna Justin and Anna were also sooo welcoming! Staff and leadership are amazing!! It's getting harder and harder to find exceptional service in 2025 but the Oaks nails it. Chef Rhett also delivered incredible food for us all, the gouda mac and cheese and steaks?! TO DIE FOR! Delicious! The place is a perfect blank slate to add your own flair and they will allow you to craft your dream day however you'd like! I felt completely at ease knowing Alex and team were managing everything behind the scenes, which allowed me to be fully present and just enjoy the day. Truly a class act, Alex combines professionalism, warmth, and top-tier management skills in a way that truly sets her apart. We love you Alex!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you’re getting married at The Oaks, you are so lucky - cheers to you guys and thank you so much for making our wildest dreams come true. Keep Life Spicy!!! 3 Lauren Andre 3”

“THE GOOD STUFF The Grange fit our needs really well for a 50 person baby shower. With the setup we chose, the room felt full but not crowded and allowed for ample room for people to move around. The fireplace added a nice atmosphere without making the room hot. The bathrooms and space were clean when we arrived. The Grange offers several table options which made it super easy for us to setup a kids zone, silent trivia area, and guest tables. Given that tables and chairs are included in the rental fee, it is fairly priced. A FEW BUMMERS While we wanted to have the garage doors open for an open-air feeling, it seemed that even the smallest bit of wind would knock over all of our decorations. Because we couldn't have the garage doors open, we did confine everything to indoors which changed our plans a bit with outdoor yard games as it wasn't super intuitive to go outside to the covered patio. We also would have liked to have been asked about the signage The Grange put outside. We had a co-ed baby shower but when we pulled up, the sign only listed the mother-to-be's name. Not a huge deal, but definitely could have been avoided. IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS A few things to note that may be important to you: 1. All setup, teardown, and cleaning is YOUR responsibility. So, if you don't want to haul tables and chairs, take out the trash, and mop the floor, this venue is not for you. (Note: We were made well aware of this prior to booking so it isn't a surprise but definitely a big consideration as it cuts into your rental time.) 2. The microphone works well for the main room but is very difficult to hear in the "back area" where the restrooms and food counters are. 3. When working on your budget, be sure to factor in the cost of getting event insurance as this is required and is an additional cost. (Again, we were made aware of this in advance so it wasn't a surprise.) 4. No table coverings/linens/tablecloths are provided so be sure you factor this into planning and your budget.”

“Cherokee Ranch & Castle feels like you’ve stepped into another country and another era the second you drive up. The architecture alone is stunning, but once you walk inside, it gets even better. The interior is layered with history, rich mahogany, intricate details, and rooms that feel dramatic in the best way. Every corner photographs beautifully. The staff was incredibly accommodating and professional throughout the day. Organized, attentive, and kind, which matters more than people realize when timelines are tight and emotions are high. There are endless photo opportunities here. The interior gives you moody, romantic, old world vibes. The grounds open up to sweeping Colorado views. And the rooftop view is an absolute must. The scenery from up there is unreal and gives couples something that feels cinematic and timeless. If you want grandeur, history, and something that genuinely feels different from the typical ballroom venue, this is it. From a photographer’s perspective, it is a dream location.”

“What a lovely space! I was here recently for a meeting and it was such a great space - could absolutely picture a stunning wedding taking place here. Elevated spaces, hotel rooms, and super yummy food all in the same place - talk about a one stop shop. The food we had for the meeting was fantastic and the service was flawless, so I can only imagine what it would be like for a wedding. The overall look of the space is stunning and you can tell that a lot of care and attention goes into the design and into making the space feel luxury and unique and still cozy at the same time!!”

A Little History. A Great Story. Originally built in the 1950s, All Inn has been thoughtfully restored as one of Denver's newest boutique hotels, preserving the character of its mid-century roots while creating a place designed for gathering. Located in the heart of the Bluebird District, the hotel blends historic architecture, locally inspired design, and warm hospitality into a setting that feels distinctly Denver. Fun Fact: Long before it became All Inn, the building welcomed generations of travelers along one of Denver's most iconic corridors. Today, it continues that tradition—bringing friends and families together to celebrate life's biggest moments. Whether you're reserving a room block, hosting a welcome party at FiNO, or gathering for farewell brunch before everyone heads home, All Inn offers a wedding weekend that's full of character, not cookie-cutter hotel ballrooms. Because the best wedding stories deserve a place with one of its own.

“Our marriage celebration was held at FINO, in the All Inn Hotel. It met or exceeded our expectations in every way. The venue itself is very comfortable and retro chic. It provided ample space for our group of 55 guests to socialize over drinks and passed appetizers, as well as for sitting in the large booths to enjoy a delicious custom selected buffet. The adjoining bar and lounge has plenty of room for casual mingling. The staff is friendly, attentive, and organized. Summer, the Event Manager, was a pleasure to work with and was verry collaborative throughout the planning process.”

“Knoebel Events is a beautiful interior with excellent friendly staff, including a staff member with a lifetime achievement award in events. We loved the interior stone and metal accent plus wine cellar. We'd love to come back and rent the wine cellar for our anniversary. The brick patio was an great cocktail space. We loved that we had an indoor atrium option for that too. There were plenty of bar locations to accommodate our guests. The tasting is not to be missed. It was a great opportunity to get a sense of their style of food. We gravitated to the sauces made with wine- very good. The beef short ribs were top notch so much so we had two helpings! The chef was very easy to work with as we had some special cultural food requests. He spent one on one time with my husband for a taste test of his special request. So speak up and see what they can do to work with you! Pricing worked for our budget! We found it to be one of the most affordable places to have a reception in Denver. Trust me, we research everywhere in Colorado! We wanted a step above an inexpensive church hall / outdoor venue at park but couldn't afford local mansions with caterers wanting a minimum spent, hotels with less character (or you would have to spend money on environmental decor on top of table decor, country/private clubs with required minimums / overpriced food, nor restaurants with limited space and a different vibe. You get beauty, class, style, versatility, a wine cellar, grand staircase, patio, atrium, and excellent service! FYI, there is a service fee in lieu of a tip which in the end worked for us. They were very forthcoming with all pricing. Trixie Farmer and team went above and beyond. They were always so friendly plus cool and calm under pressure. The student workers were very motivated and on top of it. I did not see any lazy workers. These student workers want to be there- hospitality is part of their study and career choice. We had many small details so we were pleased they helped set these up. Trixie took the time to get to know us. She made excellent recommendations and was very open about what we would and would not need while still leaving us the freedom to decide. She checked in with us, gave us tours, and let us do some small mock set ups of our center pieces. She also welcomed us when we arrived from the church ceremony. This is an event center and a school of hospitality so give the event center a little grace as the school year can effect how busy they are- finals week, breaks, etc. Being a former teacher myself, it was easy to understand this dynamic but as a bride I was eager to get the next email communication follow up. These employees know what they are doing so no matter what, it worked out! My only criticism is that due to a booking following our event we cut our reception shorter than we had hoped. We knew this was possible up front but an additional last minute request for 30 min less was a little disappointing. We were compensated- so that was pleasing. Overall you can not go wrong with Knoebel Events and with Trixie Farmer- Lifetime Achievement Award winner!”

“My husband and I have been visiting the Botanic Gardens for years and it was the only venue we wanted for our wedding day. The wedding day was everything we had hoped for and many of our guests commented afterward how beautiful it was. We also knew ahead of time that we wanted an intimate wedding and the Woodland Mosaic and Solarium as our location. The weather was fairly warm on our date but our guests didn't feel it because the venue has lots of shade with the solarium and trees. It also felt like a more secluded space, which is something that we wanted. Our wedding date was a very popular Saturday in June, and I believe 5 other weddings were taking place at the same time! Because our location felt so private, we hardly noticed. The only exception being the "golden hour" for photography, where we were taking photos in the Japanese garden and carefully maneuvering around other couples also taking photos. If you want to be the only bride in sight, keep this in mind. We didn't care though. Because we had such a small wedding (40 people), we chose not to have a wedding planner or day-of coordinator. I would recommend one for this venue if you have a larger group or if you don't have a lot of helping hands. We had a lot of help from our families on the day of the event - helping set up things like the gifts/card table and brining in liquor in coolers. We also carried out a lot of items ourselves at the end of the night. This isn't a complaint from our end, as we expected to do some of the coordination ourselves. Just keep in mind that if you don't want to have to do anything on your wedding day, be sure to hire someone for that role. Emily was great at coordinating from the Botanic Gardens side. She gave us helpful information when needed, responded quickly, and we also met her about a month in advance to walk through the site, going over details on things like chairs and tables. In addition, you get an hour walkthrough during the day before your event. On the day of, I booked a touch-up room (included in the price). They have a limited catering list and we were happy to use Serendipity Catering for our food, bartenders, service staff, desserts and floral, which made coordinating everything a lot easier! I highly recommend working with Brie and Raven. Another perk of booking this venue is that you can bring in your own alcohol, which can save money. Negatively, it was a bit of work for our families to haul all of this in and out while in formalwear. Depending on which space you book, you are also only able to have acoustic music. We wanted (and hired) a string quartet, so this worked for us. However, if you want to dance the night away with a DJ, you would need to book elsewhere for the reception or book their indoor ballroom. The best surprise for us was a free couples membership for a year to the Botanic Gardens. We are so excited to have the opportunity to spend more time here, enjoying their many event offerings throughout the year. We can't wait to return year after year!”

They went out of their way multiple times to ensure our comfort and it was so appreciated. Leading up to the day, they were very communicative and so welcoming with each visit we made. About wedding venues in Deer Trail, CO

What Makes Colorado's Wedding Venues Unique?

Colorado's wedding venues offer something truly special, blending architectural diversity with stunning natural scenery. You'll find sophisticated urban elegance at the Grand Hyatt Denver right alongside the rustic charm of Spruce Mountain Ranch. Every window at the Flagstaff House Restaurant frames breathtaking mountain vistas while Tapestry House By Wedgewood Weddings pairs Victorian beauty with meticulously maintained gardens. Mountain View Ranch takes indoor-outdoor flow to the next level with retractable walls that let you seamlessly connect with nature while keeping guests comfortable. When it comes to costs you'll be pleasantly surprised - Colorado venues typically run between $6,000 and $6,800, which falls on the lower end of what you'd pay nationally where prices range from $6,500 to $12,000.

How Much Does a Colorado Mountain Wedding Cost?

Planning a Colorado mountain wedding for 150 guests? You're looking at around $46,999 total. Here's how that breaks down across your key vendors: - Florists: 16% ($7,466) - Venues: 14% ($6,399) - Catering: 11% ($5,119) - Photography: 10% ($4,622) - Videography: 9% ($4,124) - Wedding Planning: 9% ($4,124) - Bar Services: 9% ($4,095) - Bands and DJs: 3% ($1,500) - Cake and Desserts: 2% ($801) - Hair and Makeup: 1% ($670)

When Should You Book Colorado Wedding Services?

Timing is everything when planning your Colorado wedding. Start with your venue 13 months out - that's 390 days before your big day. Your photographer and wedding planner should be next on the list about 10 months ahead. Most other vendors including your florist caterer and videographer need about 9 months' notice while hair and makeup artists typically want 8 months' heads up. Planning a fall wedding? Book even earlier since September sees the highest demand.

Which Colorado Mountain Regions Offer the Best Wedding Settings?

You'll find perfect settings year-round in Colorado's mountains. The Grange shows off spectacular fall colors with its aspen groves while Della Terra lets you host cozy outdoor ceremonies with snowy peaks as your backdrop. Spring brings wildflower meadows at Wild Basin Lodge and summer celebrations shine under Balistreri Vineyards' pergola-covered patio. September proves most popular combining perfect temperatures with reliable weather.

How Do Denver Wedding Venues Compare to Mountain Locations?

Whether you're drawn to city sophistication or mountain majesty Colorado's got you covered. Craftwood Peak puts you face-to-face with Pikes Peak while The Simon offers industrial-chic style with Denver skyline views. You can celebrate in the historic Kirk Of Highland or surrounded by Garden of the Gods' stunning red rocks. City venues like Rooftop1630 deliver urban views while mountain locations connect you directly with nature.

What Weather Contingencies Do Colorado Venues Provide?

Colorado venues know how to handle whatever weather comes your way. Mount Vernon Canyon Club keeps you connected to the views through its glass-enclosed reception space while Church Ranch Event Center offers multiple indoor ceremony spots with mountain vistas through massive windows. Want a winter ceremony? Ashley Ridge has heated outdoor pavilions and Meadow Creek Lodge keeps everyone comfortable with covered walkways between venues.

Where Can You Find All-Inclusive Colorado Wedding Packages?

Looking to simplify your planning? Wedgewood Weddings properties across Colorado including Tapestry House and Mountain View Ranch handle everything from catering to coordination. The Grand Hyatt Denver includes room blocks with their packages while Balistreri Vineyards wraps up wine service catering and coordination in one easy contract. These venues make planning easier with dedicated coordinators managing timelines and vendor teams.

How Do Colorado Wedding Budgets Scale with Guest Count?

Your Colorado wedding budget flexes with your guest list: - 50 guests: $20,802 - 100 guests: $34,304 - 150 guests: $46,999 - 200 guests: $58,346 - 250 guests: $69,693 - 300 guests: $81,041 This scaling helps you maintain the quality you want while adjusting for your perfect guest count.
