He read the dance floor perfectly, kept the energy high, and managed to play a least a few songs that appealed to every single one of our guests. His live piano music was a highlight of the reception dinner, and set exactly the mood we envisioned for our ceremony. There was not a single song request we had that he wasn’t able to accommodate. “I've been to my fair share of weddings the last few years and I can definitively say that Yazz Events is one of the best live wedding bands I have ever seen. My calves were more sore the day after the wedding than when I ran the Chicago Marathon a few weeks prior. That's how hard I was dancing all night. We had a bilingual wedding (Spanish/English) and the MC, Hector, was able to speak and instruct guests in both languages. SO AWESOME! They also played the perfect blend of songs in both languages. Many of our Spanish speaking guests had not seen a live band like this before and they loved it. Amy, the owner, was amazing with planning and giving suggestions for the setlist. We also hired the jazz duo for our rehearsal dinner. They added such a calming presence to that night. 10/10 all around. Thank you Yazz Events!”
