Gloria Bloise Photography LLC

  • Serves Dayton, ME

I am SO excited that you stumbled upon my work! I shoot weddings all across Florida & New England! Capturing raw, true emotions as they happen is what I’m all about. I want to capture it all on your big day. From the moments of you putting your dress to the tears running down your face as you read your vows to each other. To the first kiss and “OMG you’re my spouse now!!” feels. To the unexpected Taco Bell run you make after the ceremony or your grandparents getting down on the dance floor. Being able to grab the moments for you to hold to forever, is such a rewarding humbling job for me.

Awarded Best of Zola
Gloria was amazing! Not only did she create such beautiful photos for us (both engagement shot and wedding day gallery) she is such a lovely personality to have with you on your wedding day! The engagement shoot was great- she made us really comfortable and she got such beautiful photos! The day of the wedding we had a second shooter (Sam) who got such great candid background shots to add to the spectacular gallery Gloria shot! The team managed to catch every important moment and I will cherish these photos forever! Side note- Gloria saved the day when we lost hook for my bustle within the folds of my wedding dress, she stepped in and immediately solved the problem. I will be grateful for both Gloria and Sam every time I look at these photos!

Alba Lumos Photography
Rating: 5.0 (24 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,600
  • Serves Dayton, ME

I'd say my photography style would be something along the lines of "lifestyle photography". [That means that posing you in silly ways that seem fake / awkward isn't really my jam.] I mean, unless that gets some snuggles & laughs. I'm ALLLL about that. I like to capture REAL life with REAL emotions and REAL smiles. Your session should be relaxed and fun. [All while I get some kick-ass photos!] I will most likely make a giant fool of myself at your session, so you'll feel like a professional. I sing, trip, laugh, make noises, mention inappropriate things, show my nerdiness. AKA YOU'RE GOING TO DO JUST FINE.

Awarded Best of Zola
If you are looking for photographers who not only deliver high quality pictures but also help to make your day fun and enjoyable, April and Jordan are the ones for you! I can not even describe how incredible my experience with Alba Lumos was. April was able to use her own vison while also hearing what we wanted and incorporating that as well. My now husband is SOO uncomfortable being in front of a camera, and she was able to make his feel comfortable and even enjoy having his photos taken! The sneak peak pictures (attached) from the wedding are INCREDIBLE!!!! I will be doing all future photos with Alba Lumos, and highly recommend them!

Julie K. Gray Photography
Rating: 5.0 (22 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,750
  • Serves Dayton, ME

Hi, I’m Julie! I’ve been photographing weddings for about ten years now (holy cow, do I feel old!), starting with photographing friends' weddings and quickly falling in love with the work. While I adore capturing gorgeous portraits of the bride and groom and the quiet (and sometimes chaotic!), beautiful moments during a wedding/elopement/engagement session, those ridiculous candid moments (like when a stranger offers you a fry on the boardwalk during your bridesmaid photos) truly make your day uniquely yours. I'd absolutely describe my style as a mixture of classic, artistic and photojournalism, but my heart lies in capturing candid moments.

Awarded Best of Zola
Julie did an amazing job shooting our small elopement ceremony at Fort Williams Park. From the very first moment she made us feel comfortable and gave us some really helpful prompts. We had access to all of our edited photos within 48 hours and they truly are better than we ever could have imagined. We will treasure these photos for years to come.

We used Captured twice (elopement ceremony and then wedding reception a year later) and were so happy with everything! Almost a year later and I’m still loving my photos and trying to find a reason to work with Rebecca again. Johanna Sorrell Photography
Rating: 5.0 (17 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,500
  • Serves Dayton, ME

I’ve been making pictures since I was 12. My parents gave me an ancient 35mm Konica Autoreflex camera, told me to get after it, and the rest, as they say, is history. My role as a photographer is to capture the rare, vulnerable, epic, extraordinary, and wonderfully ordinary moments of life, as well as the beautiful details in between. I strive to make images that come from the heart and will tell your story for years to come. Also, I might cry at your wedding. It happens.

Awarded Best of Zola
I don’t know where to begin! I was hoping to find a photographer who was easy to be around, wouldn’t make us feel stiff and captured the true joys of the day. Jo is your person! She was incredible. We are avid hikers and mountain people and Jo didn’t bat an eye when I asked if she would come over to hike our favorite mountain for sunset/first look photos the Thursday before our wedding. They are the most special photos we have from our wedding and it truly was such an intimate time for us to share together before the big day (my husband, Jo and I all together!) and it made for such an easy transition to working with her on wedding day. Jo captured all the action, often pulling off crazy maneuvers or every laying on the dance floor to get the perfect shots. In the lead up to the wedding she was always available, happy to chat about ideas and really valued what was most important to us. She easily brought on an amazing second photographer as we got closer and picked someone who she truly thought would mesh well with us. I’m not someone who documents much with progressional photography, but I’m truly looking forward to more life events so I can give Jo a call.

I’m a New Hampshire wedding photographer, who specializes in candid, natural wedding photography, serving all of New England for over fifteen years. And my quiet and calm nature makes it easy for me to blend into the background, to get tons of candid photos that you will make you laugh and cry.

My love of photography began a decade ago when I was introduced to film development in my high school's dark room. I went on to further my education in college where I majored in fine art photography. I find that in my free time, I am hiking with my other half, Jameson, and our two lovely dogs! There are so many ways for me to connect to the world, whether through nature, furry friends, or a good meal I am happy to be sharing it with someone. I'm excited to get to share my passion with the world through Little Redd Photography.

Danielle is an excellent photographer! We hardly knew she was there! I love her personality and attitude! She did exactly what I asked and then some! She is funny and easy to work with! I loved that I got the "sneak peak" of the images the night of the wedding! The images are AMAZING! I look forward to working with her again!

I'm Eleni. I've been photographing weddings and elopements for over 10 years, on digital and film. Somewhere along the way I stopped trying to run the day, and started watching it — I'm at my best when I can disappear into a day: catching the look you two give each other before anyone else notices, the quiet minute before the ceremony, the stuff you don't stage because you can't. Most of my life outside work is spent outdoors, and the days I love most tend to end up somewhere with a view worth the hike. If you're planning something that leaves room for all that, take a look at my full galleries at elenipphotography dot com.

We absolutely loved having Eleni as our wedding photographer! She was friendly, responsive, and so helpful for planning our photo timeline! Her editing style is beautiful and we have received so many compliments on both our photos and our guests interactions with her since our big day! Got our gallery back fast too!!

Val Bozzi Photography

Hey, I’m Val, wedding photographer for the rule-breakers and the “we’re doing it our way” kind of couples. If you’re ditching the traditions that don’t fit and building a day that actually feels like you, I’m all in. I capture the real, raw, emotional stuff with a dark and moody twist. No fake smiles. No cookie-cutter poses. Just your story—unfiltered and unforgettable.

Awarded Best of Zola
Val Bozzi Photography was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding day. From our first interaction, she was quick to respond, personable, and easy to communicate with, putting us at ease right away. Their photography style is emotional, fun, goofy, and completely natural - they captured all the special moments and little details that made our day so unique and memorable. We tend to be goody awkward people and told Val to give us some directions so weren't so awkward in pictures and she did the perfect job of giving us small cues but let us be "us." Which resulted in the most stunning, authentic photos that we'll cherish forever. We can't recommend Val Bozzi Photography highly enough!

Jaime & Eddie were the photography duo of our dreams. Their balance of artistry and realism comes together to make the most beautiful images that capture the joy and emotion of our day, while still hitting on all the major “bridal” points. From the beginning, Jaime and Eddie vibed so well with us, really taking our vision for engagement photos to the next level (even driving us around Boston in their car to find hidden gems). They took the lead on ensuring our wedding timeline was well rounded and encompassed everything we wanted to do for the day (even taking the curve ball of a boat ride in the middle of cocktail hour in stride). Although they had never shot our venue before, they drove over on their own time ahead of the weekend to walk around the property - truly going the unnecessary extra mile. The results of their calm and professional, yet fun and lighthearted nature are incredibly beautiful. A mere day or two after our wedding, we had dozens of stunning sneak peeks to look through and share. A month later, we are still getting compliments on how amazing they were in person and how beautiful the finished product is. Could not recommend them more!

I wish I could put into words how wonderful these two are - both as individuals and as photographers. They’ve been with us since my husband’s proposal in 2021, then shot more engagement photos for us in 2022, and finally our wedding in the fall 2023. We’ve felt so comfortable around them throughout it all. They’ve answered so many questions about wedding planning for us and have instilled words of wisdom along the way. And OBVIOUSLY their pictures are beautiful - we have memories shot by them that’ll last a lifetime and beyond. We simply love these guys. -Emily Nick

Penny Antares Photography
Rating: 5.0 (8 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Dayton, ME

Hi! I'm Penny! I live in beautiful coastal New England, freezing slices of time in photo format since 2010 and I’m so lucky to love what I do. I strive to make my clients feel seen, at ease, and authentic. That’s just how the best pictures are made! There’s a lot of shape-shifting between director, fly-on-the-wall, and all the roles in between which means offering structure in the right moments and simply getting out of the way in others. For many of my clients, being in front of the camera is NOT a cozy place to be, and I do everything I can to make it feel safe and maybe even fun!? Your wedding is a great day to be unabashedly yourself.

TLDR: Penny is an artist and if you want photos that stand the test of time, hire her. When we were researching photographers, my inspiration was my grandparents wedding photo album from the 50s. Shot on film, no posed photos, full of life and not sterile and shiny — just family, friends, and a party. Thinking about our wedding photos, I wanted to sense the person on the other side of the lens, someone w/ a perspective that would bring the pictures to life. And boy did Penny deliver big time. My SIL’s first comment was “These belong in Vogue!” I’m so grateful to her for capturing these moments that, decades from now, we (and future generations!) can look back on and be able feel that day and all the joy it brought. No less important, Penny was such a fun and supportive presence on the day-of. AND she did it all while on a heeling sail boat, an incredible feat! I’ll wrap up by just saying thank you, Penny, and hire this woman!!!!

Herring Photography

My name is Dave Herring and I started Herring Photography in 2017. I live in Plaistow, NH with my wife Kalila, our son Davy, and our dogs Snickers and Chipwich. I have a dual background both as a pastor and as a financial analyst, but a few years ago, I bought a camera to document our trip to the UK and I never anticipated how much that would change my life. As a lifelong fan of photography, I became obsessed with learning about how cameras work and how to capture the important and beautiful moments of life.

Awarded Best of Zola
Dave was committed from the beginning. After reaching out to him about the wedding he called me and we spoke like old friends. He got to know us as a couple, individuals and what we wanted in our wedding photographer. Dave inspires true LOL moments, and proved himself as willing to take the extra mile. After the shoot he enthusiastically agreed to meet us down the street at a local pond to get the perfect sunset picture. We are so happy with that gallery! Fast forward to the wedding and Dave fit in like a member of the family but didn’t skip a beat with capturing all the important moments. I even had a couple guests ask if he was a family friend and by the end of the night he surely was. The only thing to complain about is that there are too many amazing pictures to choose from; we are ecstatic with the way they turned out! His style is super classic without leaving out all those fun lighthearted moments, which in the end are the most important. HIRE HIM, HIRE HIM, HIRE HIM. You will not regret it!

Hey there! I’m Katherine, a Maine-based editorial and documentary-style wedding photographer. I love saltwater, the color blue, pubs with booths, my dog Annie, and cooking a big meal to loud music at the end of a long day.

My husband and I got married on August 23rd, 2025, and Katherine and her second shooter, Pete, were such a dream to work with! Katherine was my sister’s wedding photographer last year, and I was fortunate to meet her then. I knew from the moment I saw her portfolio that I wanted her to also photograph my wedding! (Of course, if she was able and willing!) Thankfully she was able to, and from the first communications to the wedding, she was so helpful and made the process so easy. Katherine sent us a sneak peek of the wedding album the day after the wedding, and we were blown away! I highly recommend hiring Katherine to capture your special day! Thank you, Katherine, for capturing these memories for us that we can cherish for a lifetime!

Hi, my name’s Robb and I want to help capture your big day! I’m a Seacoast based photographer and I’ve been all over New England working to capture the natural, the real, and genuine beauty that our world has to offer.

Robb Goodell Photography was the perfect choice for our wedding photographer. From the very first conversation, Robb and his team were wise, knowledgeable, responsive, and caring. Their communication style put us at ease and made the entire process seamless. The quality of their work was truly wonderful - crisp, vibrant, and selective in capturing all the special moments that tell the story of our wedding day. Robb's candid style has a way of grabbing the moments from angles that make you feel like you are part of the picture, standing there with your friends mid-conversation and watching it all unfold. Robb and his team were on time, prepared for the unexpected, and easy-going throughout the entire event. We are thrilled with the beautiful photos that perfectly preserve the joy and love of our special day.

I’m a New Hampshire wedding photographer with a photojournalistic approach to documenting wedding days, and a contemporary twist on wedding portraiture. I have been photographing weddings in New England since 2003. I photographed my first wedding on my own in the Fall of 2008. Since then, I have photographed over 500 weddings, mostly in New England, but also as far away as Wyoming, New Orleans and the Cayman Islands.

We met Eric at our son's wedding in 2018. He has since done 7 wonderful family photo shoots. He is such a talented artist and professional. A true pleasure to work with. PW

I’m so happy we booked Rebecca for our wedding. Aside from our pictures coming out great, she was easy and fun to work with. She and her husband came to shoot and they seemed to really embrace our wedding vibes which you could see in the photos. The portraits were beautiful but my favorite pictures were the amazing candids of how much fun everyone had. I would absolutely book her agaib
