I'm a 25-year-old photographer with a passion for capturing life's most memorable moments. I'm a wife, avid crafter, and proud dog-mom. With over 7 years of experience behind the lens, I feel truly honored to document the best moments of my clients' lives, allowing them to look back on these cherished memories for years to come. I had the privilege of studying photography at NHIA, where I was accepted with a scholarship. During my three years there, I immersed myself in the world of film and digital photography, working both in the studio and in nature.

My photography approach is all about stepping back and observing couples in their natural element. I specialize in creating cinematic moments and blending them with editorial vibes to add an artistic touch. I thrive when there's a balance between natural interactions and structured posing, ensuring every shot is both authentic and stunning.

We couldn’t be happier with Julia! From the very beginning, she was professional, organized, and so easy to work with. On the day of the wedding, Julia made us feel completely comfortable and captured everything so naturally, the big moments and the little in between ones we didn’t even realize were happening. The photos are absolutely stunning and truly tell the story of our day. Every time we look at them, we’re right back in those moments. Friends and family can’t stop complimenting our pictures, and we’re so grateful to have such beautiful memories to look back on forever. The best!

I highly recommend Julia for any type of shoot!!!
My time with Julia Wakefield Photography couldn’t have been any better! I was worried that doing a photo shoot would be awkward, but Julia brought a positive and relaxing energy that made the whole experience a lot of fun. I could tell that she had put a lot of effort into thinking of poses before the shoot, and even included themes my partner and I are passionate about, like reading! The photos themselves came out absolutely perfect!!! Both of us look incredible, and you can see how much fun we’re having. I’m not someone who typically feels beautiful, but the poses Julia picked complimented my figure and made me feel stunning! I really couldn’t be happier with this whole process and would highly recommend Julia Wakefield Photography to anybody who asks.
