“I had such a great experience with DJ Zazu as our wedding DJ! I first spoke with Roman and he was very friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable and confident that he would deliver a great experience for us! He had DJ’d an event at our venue before and knew about how the sound travels in the room which eased a lot of my worries, and he made suggestions on where to place the DJ booth to ensure the best quality sound for the space we had. He also made a special mix for my father daughter dance at my request and it turned out so beautifully! It was a song that was special to me and my dad, and I surprised him with it during our dance which he loved! Roman also worked with me to time the music for my entrance at a specific moment. He was very attentive, knowledgeable, competent, and overall very fun to work with! The app he uses to put your playlists into was very helpful as well as it allowed me to easily put down all my favorite songs that I wanted to play! I also made a small playlist for cocktail hour and dinner to help give him an idea of the vibes I wanted for it, and he executed it perfectly. He was able to get a lot of my shy family members on the dance floor which was a surprise, and he kept a great vibe the whole time at the reception! I’d go out to talk to guests or drink/eat more cake but almost every time I did, he’d play a song that I just had to go back on the dance floor for haha! It was the best day of our lives and we had so much fun, with DJ Zazu to thank for it!”

They were communicative, professional, and had a platform that made choosing songs and getting organized a breeze. It was affordable as far as wedding add-ons goes and classed up the wedding, our guests were all excited and impressed. Our violinist was incredibly talented and added an incredible flair. We chose a hip hop theme he nailed it (classy but also super fun and energetic). My only regret is that we were so busy that we didn't get to stop and truly appreciate it as much as we should have. Saroj James Hyoju, got into DJ industry upon walking into Latin club in Dallas, Texas in 2015. Coming from band background, he was surprised to see how people were moved by “Gasolina”, a reggaeton song. Observing how DJ was controlling the crowd’s energy while enjoying himself, this made him curious about club music genres, besides metal and rock. Following immediately, he hosted a Bring Your Own Beer (BYOB) house party, where 50 people showed up. A week later, he was invited to co-DJ at one of his friends’ wedding reception and rest is the history.

“We booked Sound Society for our wedding last month after seeing them perform at a wedding band showcase and WOW did they deliver!!! We ended up booking Sound Society as a three piece string arrangement for our ceremony and as a 10-piece band for our reception with emcee duties and they hit it out of the park. Every part of the process was simple and organized-- Neil from their team helped us choose special songs for the ceremony, tailor our do-not-plays and must-plays for the evening, and plotted out speaking cues throughout the night. A month later and we are still getting compliments about how alive our wedding band was!
