“We hired Bunn DJ Company Virginia to DJ our 150-guest wedding. Frank was our DJ, and he did a wonderful job all day helping us to curate several different vibes for different parts of the evening. The online tools from Bunn DJ made curating and sharing a playlist of our favorite songs as well as what songs to use where (first dance, wedding party introductions, last dance, etc) a breeze as well as very user friendly. Frank was a great MC, and got 150 guests wrangled to several different rooms throughout the night between cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing (all in different parts of our venue)! He did a great job balancing songs for different age groups as well as when to let songs play out longer or mix into the next song more quickly if the crowd was not into it. He is a big reason our dance floor was packed all night long! We were very happy with Bunn DJ Company Virginia’s services and specifically Frank’s skill as a DJ. Also, if it is within your budget, get the club cannons. Firing those off on our dancefloor was pure electricity for the energy on the dancefloor!”

“Joey’s DJ Service was an excellent choice for our Durham, NC wedding! Joey was so kind and friendly from the jump, and we liked and trusted him starting from our consultation call at the beginning of planning our event. Even at that early stage, Joey was already advocating for us to have the wedding we wanted, sharing tips on how to structure the day so we were able to set aside time for private moments of introvert connection during a very social, family-focused event. We ended up booking him to provide music for our entire wedding day, from pre-ceremony music (played while guests were arriving and taking their seats) through the ceremony (including microphones for the officiant and groom) through cocktail hour, dinner, special dances and toasts, and the dance party portion of the reception. Joey’s attention to detail, including making sure he knew which specific versions of the songs we requested we wanted to play, and which music lined up with specific points in the schedule of events, was unmatched. Joey’s client portal made it easy to share our music choices for all these different parts of our big day. He paid close attention to our playlists/requests for the dance party while also mixing in some of his own selections, reading the room and ensuring everyone had something to dance to; this was especially impressive given that our guests ranged in age from infants to octogenarians! He was also sensitive to the nuances of a big family gathering: My dad and I don’t have a close relationship, so my mom and I did a mother-daughter dance in place of the traditional father-daughter one. When my dad put in a song request later in the evening, telling Joey he intended to ask me to dance with him to that song, Joey pulled me aside to make sure it was okay first before honoring the request. My new husband and I loved working with Joey’s DJ Service for our wedding, and we would wholeheartedly recommend this seasoned professional to anyone planning a special event.”

“I am writing this review about Sarah. First of all, she was so great at being responsive which right off the bat was a big deal for me. Planning a wedding is stressful but during our first initial meet through Zoom I was immediately put at ease. Second, booking her was extremely easy and fairly priced. Thirdly, she was on time and I balled my eyes out walking down the aisle to beauty and the beast. I've never heard the harp in person and it was an experience I will never forget. “It was meant to be for us to have Sam be the DJ at our nerdy chic wedding. On a sheer whim, we emailed him when it was clear our original plan of "oh we'll just make a few playlists" was absolutely not going to happen. Only 6 weeks out, and he was free on our date *and* had played the venue before! Fast-tracked our consult meetings, worked with us on our timeline for our very short ceremony and reception and overall had great tips and tricks. There were one or two moments during the wedding that were maybe hiccups (including me kicking the plugs out!) but he rolled with it, we rolled with it. He's so personable, everyone loved him - we're all transplants from NJ/ NY and turns out he's practically related to at least one of my family. For sure, would recommend him!”

We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “HiMotive Entertainment & Photobooth was amazing to work with for our wedding. They had great communication - it was easy to coordinate with them through their app and they always replied to our texts quickly. On the day of, their DJ played a wonderful variety of songs that kept our dance floor packed all night. The song selections were perfect and the lights really added to the fun, lively atmosphere. Our DJ was especially great, even dancing some merengue with one of our guests! We couldn't have asked for a better entertainment team to make our wedding celebration so special.”
