The Manor provides two areas for a spectacular reception - an elegant setting with windows on several sides of the main ballroom to accommodate up to 150 guests or a tented reception on our lush landscaped grounds accommodating up to 250 guests. You may arrive four hours before your ceremony and get ready in our spacious bridal party suites. Hosting only one wedding a day, we pay special care and attention to every detail, making the wedding planning process stress-free and the event flawless for you and your guests.

Black Walnut Farm is a 34-acre historic estate in Saugerties, NY, where the Catskills meet the Hudson Valley and where weddings become full weekends of revelry. Settle in, welcome your favorite people, throw one hell of a party, and actually enjoy it all! Celebrate in our temperature-controlled 1891 barn with a four-foot disco ball, gather around the bonfire, and stay onsite in our 1747 farmhouse. 2027 Wedding Weekend Venue Fees are $13,500 off-season (Nov-April + July) and $16,500 prime season (May-June and Aug-Oct). A two-night farmhouse stay ($1,200/night) and 15% service fee apply; your welcome event has no additional site fee. Most couples plan for an overall wedding budget (including all outside vendors and services) of approximately $55,000–$100,000+. The building dates back to 1837, a three-level structure which was built by William Nelson. Peekskill lawyer, Congressman, and friend to Abraham Lincoln. A small stage, built on the 3rd floor in 1870, was identified as the “Dramatic Hall.” This emblematic building had been abandoned for about 20 years and fallen into disrepair until 2012, a complete renovation took place restoring the 1870-era theater. The Dramatic Hall serves as a space to host weddings, private parties, plays, live music performances, and more.
