“We selected Michael Keyes as our photographer because of his picture style but also because he was familiar with and had done several weddings at our venue. In addition -after we selected our DJ - he also recommended Michael. That just solidified our instincts on his work. He stayed in communication prior to the date and spent some time chatting with us (we live 5 hours away) about the day, timeline and special photos we wanted captured. He had great expertise on time frames needed to accomplish the pics we wanted as well. Our wedding day turned out to be picture perfect weather - in the shade. The sun was bright and shining but also humid which made my husband pretty uncomfortable in a full suit & tie. Michael was fantastic at directing everyone (we had a super large group photo we wanted) to get a great group shot and get it quickly so we could get our older guests out of the sun. But the groom was melting (and the bride to be honest). Michael quickly came to the rescue w/ his favorite (and very special) golf towel from Hawaii and saved the groom and our pictures! He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and our pictures came out fabulous! We wanted to get some pics around Claytor Lake using my uncle's boat after the wedding/reception and he graciously obliged and actually spent an additional hour or so outside of the contracted time to accommodate our wishes - the pics came out stunning and we are so grateful. He is a true artist in his field. We are so happy with our choice of Michael Keyes Photography for our wedding. We highly recommend Michael for your event!”

“I originally chose Holly for my photographer because we had a very specific theme for our wedding (Destiny the video game). It must have also been Destiny that she played the game and was familiar with the theme. Also, she was amazingly flexible and willing to work with our budget. Her correspondence with me was always quick and prompt. Even when it came to getting my professional pictures and sneak peaks all back, I was told it would be up to 2 months for return, but she had them back in only a week or two's time. Unfortunately, (as these things sometimes happen) Holly was not able to actually come do our photos due to getting extremely sick (which no one can help), so we had to have a stand in photographer named Justin. I know we (including herself) were all bummed she could not be there considering we were all excited and familiar with the theme. Despite not having Holly, Justin was still very nice to work with and did an amazing job. I did notice that the best pictures (of course) were the ones he had time to actually position and pose us for. I think my biggest regret was I wish I had had more time and funds to pay for more time for him to pose us and take these more less candid photos. I was sad to find that we missed out on getting individual photos of my daughters and all four of them on their own. Also there were no photos of my husband with his second oldest daughter which really upset her... But again, I don't blame the photographer for this. It really was chalked up to a lack of time. Also, one of my daughters changed into more comfortable clothes during dinner so that took away from us being able to get the nice pictures I had wanted. So I can't emphasize enough that I don't blame the photographers for this at all... It was just one of my biggest regrets on my part of the night. I again, wish I had built more time and been able to contribute more money to more pictures that could be done in this manner. I definitely recommend this team. They are so nice and do their best to check off all of the boxes that you want. They work with you and are quick and efficient with what they do.”

“Bhanu at Eternal Vistas showed he genuinely cared about making our day perfect. He was involved in planning every step of the wedding with us, and even monitored the forecast to suggest we order umbrellas last minute; this was a thoughtful touch that saved us. There were so many thoughtful touches that will not fit in this review (preparing a wedding outline, checking in on our mental health/stress levels when planning, suggesting a song to listen to while we looked at photos, and so many more things!!). We received sneak peek photos in less than 24 hours, and we were absolutely floored by the quality. They are beyond our wildest dreams. We had a main photographer, a videographer, and an assistant (an unexpected bonus assistant, I’ll add). Their attention to detail is clear in every shot, and the whole experience felt effortless. The value we got from working with them was outstanding and truly worthwhile. I could not recommend them enough to any couple looking for a photographer who goes above and beyond.
