“We planned our wedding from all the way across the country (Florida to California) so we already had challenges. From the beginning, the price was great and the photos looked promising, so we decided to go for it and we are so glad we did! Turned out to be well worth it. Michael connected with us immediately, assured us he would make it happen and not to worry about a thing. We communicated over the phone and through email, he always answered every time I called, ready to listen and note my requests. The day of, the photographer Michael booked for us, Michaela Gardener drove hours to be there for our special day and even brought an assistant. She was willing to be hands on all day, treated my children like family and even stayed late to capture extra shots. Her experience shows from her work. Both the DJ and Photographer arrived early to set up and are experienced business owners. The photos are great quality and high resolution. They came out so beautiful, even with our imperfect family and little ones running around, she somehow made us look great. “Isaac was absolutely fantastic to work with, and we couldn't be happier we chose Love Knot Photography for our wedding. From the start, what stood out was how much he cared about capturing the actual feeling of the day rather than just working through a checklist of poses. He and his co-photographer had a great eye for the in-between moments — the little glances, the laughter, the chaos of getting ready — alongside all the formal shots we expected. Looking through our gallery afterward, so many of our favorite photos are ones we didn't even know were being taken. He was also just easy and calm to have around on a hectic day, which mattered more than we realized it would. Weddings move fast, and having a photographer who was unobtrusive but always exactly where he needed to be took one more thing off our minds. One of the things we appreciated most: he and his co-photographer stayed well past the time included in our package, all the way until we started dancing. That extra stretch of time meant they captured some of the best — and funniest — photos of the whole night, catching our friends and family completely in their element on the dance floor. It wasn't something we asked for; they just wanted to make sure they got the shots. Isaac also went well beyond the package once it came to editing. Our contract included 300 retouched photos, but we ended up with around 550 edited images and 717 total files between web and print resolution, including alternate crops and versions of several favorites. It's clear he genuinely cared about giving us as much of the day as possible, not just fulfilling a contract. We're so glad we chose Love Knot Photography, and we'll be treasuring these photos for years to come. If you're looking for a photographer who will genuinely capture your day rather than just document it, Isaac is who you want.”

They also got our photos back to us super quickly—about a week after the wedding—which was such a nice surprise. The photos turned out beautiful and they captured all the big moments and some great candid shots. I especially love how cool the dance floor shots turned out. We received tons of compliments on the pictures! Highly recommend!”

I'm inspired by the way a great film makes you feel like you're actually inside the story — the anticipation before something happens, the quiet moments between people, the movement, the atmosphere, and the unexpected frames you could never have planned. I photograph weddings with that same instinct, moving with what's already unfolding rather than forcing the day into a shot list or manufacturing moments. The images move between digital capture and authentic 35mm and medium-format film, giving each moment the rendering that suits it best — creating photographs that feel like frames from a film you happened to live inside.

“Caz was VERY professional, very kind. He had a vision that aligned so so perfectly with ours. I LOVE his approach towards photos, that he captures genuine moments not posed photos. We took around an hour of actual posed photos and after that he was in the background, you would catch a glimpse of him taking photos from around the room and let me tell you WHEN I GOT OUR PHOTOS BACK I WAS SHOCKED!!! They were absolutely stunning. He was so so kind and so so amazing, at a very reasonable price. I would give him more stars if I could.”
