We LOVED working with Edgar! He was so friendly and really made us feel supported. His style really highlighted the bright colors at our botanical garden wedding, which is exactly what we wanted. We would recommend him to anyone!!

I have been a photographer for 8 years. Throughout my time as a photographer I’ve captured clothing, models, and memories. I shifted from corporate shootings to families and weddings because it gave me this warm fuzzy feeling when I edited my couples and families photos. Don’t be afraid to reach out to me and ask about my photography style, my editing style, or my favorite restaurant! I highly recommend scheduling a free consulting session!

She was concise, timely and super helpful. Grace went above and beyond to ensure the day went amazing. She even helped button my dress when we were struggling. I would definitely recommend using her for your wedding. She will get everything and everyone together to ensure your photos are exactly what you want!

Celestial Waves photography was by far the best choice we could have made. For one, the pictures are absolutely stunning. We got them back quickly, the system is easy to use, and the pictures are a perfect mix of posed and candid. I have gotten SO many compliments on the pictures, but also about Seth and the company itself. They did so much to help make our day special, from helping the groomsmen put on their boutonnieres to keeping everyone looking great and having fun. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did to make our wedding day such a special day, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a phenomenal photographer.

Mist Photography
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves Carterville, IL

Photography became personal to me through loss and the reminder that life is fleeting. After losing two of my best friends in high school, photos became more than images. They became memories I deeply treasure. I’ve been a self-made photographer since 2019, and in 2020 I spent a year in Atlanta second shooting luxury weddings, refining my craft and style. I later moved back home to Salem, IL to be close to family and now proudly serve the Southern Illinois and St. Louis areas, capturing meaningful moments with intention, joy, and heart.

Rachael is our all-time photographer and she blows me away every time we have a session with her! Our engagement and wedding photos were flawless and she was a dream to work with! She makes a bride and groom feel comfortable and captures every detail. I can’t recommend Mist Photography enough!

Welcome! I'm Brooke. I am so glad you're here. Grab a coffee, pull up your favorite chair and stay awhile. Catch up with the latest right here on the blog! My passion as a photographer comes from my love of art, creating memories, and my mother. In 2016 my mom passed away from Leukemia. My number one supporter, motivator, and overall most important person in my life was taken away from me way too early. Now all I have left are pictures.

I cannot recommend Brooke enough!! She was such a pleasure to work with for both engagement photos and the wedding day. Her work is BEAUTIFUL!!!

blkphotography

Hey y’all! I am Brittany, the photographer behind the dream team that is blkPhotography. I will be celebrating 15 years of business in 2024! I started this journey as a sophomore in high school with a love for capturing moments and memories, because they are SO important. I’ve grown throughout the years of weddings + portrait sessions and come to adore this “job” of creating and curating memories for my clients. It’s a passion I pursue every single day.

Brittany was a pleasure to work with. She put us at ease throughout the entire wedding planning process — from the initial Zoom call to the last-minute call the week before the wedding to calm my nerves with the tight morning timeline. The quality of her work was simply gorgeous — her editing style is so fresh and natural, which is exactly what we were looking for to capture the beauty of our venue and all the special moments of our day. Brittany even provided helpful posing tips ("shoulders back") on the wedding day to help us feel and look our best in our photos. The preview photos we've received are magazine-worthy, and we can't wait to see the full gallery. Brittany with blkphotography provided incredible value, and we highly recommend her to any couple.

Rebecca Ann Aesthetic

  • Starts at $3,800

My name is Rebecca and I founded Rebecca Ann Aesthetic way back in 2017. I started out my adult life as an art teacher - I felt that using my skills as an artist combined with my love for interacting with others and imparting knowledge would be the ideal way to give back to the world. As the years wore on I felt that something was missing, and that brought me here! I originally shot families, maternity and various other lifestyle photography before falling in love with weddings. There is something about capturing the raw emotion of a life changing event that really called to me and I quickly found my niche in fine art photography!

Derek Coffman Photography
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves Carterville, IL

I’m based in St. Louis and have spent over a decade photographing weddings and people. Over time, my work has settled into a blend of documentary observation and editorial sensibility, guided more by instinct and attention than by trends. I work with both film and digital photography, choosing each for what it does best. Film brings a sense of familiarity and softness. Digital allows for flexibility and precision. Together, they create a body of work that feels honest, considered, and lasting. That perspective and the way photos get made didn’t come from a single moment. It’s been shaped slowly, over time.

I'm Ashley a Cleveland, Ohio portrait photographer specializing in dark and concept driven imagery. With 18+ years of experience, I blend mood, storytelling, and artistic depth while offering a range of editing aesthetics to match each client's vision. I hold a Certificate in Photography from the Hallmark Institute of Photography and am also self taught. When I'm not creating, I'm with my supportive husband and our 2 cats Pumpkin & Goblin. We love traveling, trying new things, and discovering great food. My passion for photography began in childhood, inspired by my mother's photos and 90s magazine ads.

Awarded Best of Zola
Bottom line, Ashley is the best photographer you could possibly find for your wedding and I would ride into battle for her if necessary. We hired her when we still weren’t sure if we were doing a glorified elopement, a micro wedding, or a real wedding with most of the traditional pitfalls (spoiler: turned into a real wedding because that’s just how things go). We were maybe 6 months out and I didn’t even know if I wanted engagement photos. It all seemed overwhelming and I had no clue what to expect. Well, Ashley made everything so easy that I swear it made the rest of it fall into place. We did our engagement photos in two locations with my Corgi in tow. She ran that shoot like a precision Swiss watch. Photos are spectacular, dog was happy, we were ecstatic with how well things went. I got the photos back quickly and they were beyond my expectations. My husband and I are not really “picture people” but Ashley changed that for us. Then came the wedding. Again, she is so talented and efficient with her pictures we got all of the personal and family photos we asked for, on top of gorgeous candid shots, and pictures of our ceremony and reception venues that are perfect. On top of the great pictures, Ashley is a true professional and great to work with. She gave me great tips and was a fantastic resource for me, since I never really thought I would have or want a wedding with more traditional elements. I’m not kidding when I say I’d ride into battle for Ashley at this point. I could not recommend her more. My husband and I are 100% set we have found our family photographer for everything moving forward!

A decade in professional theater. Nine years as a fine art street photographer. Now I shoot weddings. The theater taught me comfort—how to help nervous couples relax and forget the camera. The street work trained my eye—finding extraordinary frames in ordinary moments, chasing light like it owes me money. The result: signature portraits that feel like paintings and a shoot that feels like hanging out with a friend. 300+ weddings. 151+ five-star reviews. A 10-photographer team. Zero cookie-cutter work. Camera-shy? Creative? Both? Let's talk.

Awarded Best of Zola
Jeremy is absolutely fantastic to work with; he is not only professional but incredibly positive and brings great energy to any event. Our wedding was the greatest day of our lives and we are so thankful Jeremy and his team were there to document it as it really comes across in the photos. His prices were very fair and we hope to work with him and his amazing team again in the future!

One of the greatest compliments I’ve ever received was that my photographs were beyond stunning and worthy of being featured in a wedding magazine—and I couldn’t agree more. I'm Meghan Ann Imagery! I'm an wedding storyteller and lover of love. I offer photography and videography services for elopements, micro weddings, and traditional weddings. Based in Alaska and servicing the PNW and New England.

Meghan Ann Imagery LLC was the perfect choice for our wedding photography. From the very beginning, her communication was very clear, and on a personal level she is incredibly kind and sweet to deal with. We weren't initially planning to have a photographer since this was our very small "legal" wedding and we were planning a larger destination wedding, but we're so glad we decided to book Meghan last minute. On Mother's Day, she gladly accepted the job and captured every special moment beautifully. The quality of her work was tremendous, exceeding our expectations with how fast she turned around our photos, and we now have precious memories to cherish forever. We are absolutely thrilled with the photos and cannot recommend Meghan Ann Imagery LLC highly enough.

Hi! I'm Christin, a destination wedding photographer based in Chattanooga, TN. Specializing in timeless and artful imagery, my expertise goes beyond just taking photos; it's about crafting a visual story that reflects the joy, love, and unique spirit of your celebration.

Working with Christin at Christin Sofka Photography was one of the absolute highlights of our wedding journey. From our very first inquiry to the days following our wedding, Christin has been nothing short of phenomenal—responsive, professional, fun, and such a warm presence throughout. We initially found her because of her stunning photography style, but it was her incredible personality that sealed the deal. From our first call, she genuinely wanted to get to know us—our story, our vibe, our vision—and it showed in everything she did. Before we even officially hired her, Christin was helping us find a venue that aligned with our dream, connecting us with other amazing vendors, and offering support in ways far beyond the role of a photographer. She was in it with us every step of the way. I’m usually awkward in front of a camera, but somehow Christin made it feel effortless and fun. She created an environment where we could just be ourselves—and that joy, love, and personality came through in every photo. Our pictures shine with who we are. Every idea we had, she embraced and brought to life in ways that exceeded our expectations. She was just as excited as we were the entire time—and honestly, I can’t imagine our day without her. Christin is not just a photographer—she’s a true artist, a cheerleader, and a calming, creative force you’ll be so lucky to have by your side. If you’re considering hiring her: do it. You’ll be singing her praises too.

A Charleston Wedding Photographer with a fierce love for storytelling, fostering memories and capturing those moments that you will want to treasure forever. I get to tell your story. And, I think that’s pretty cool. I love traveling everywhere and anywhere, talking with my hands, buying plants (and attempting to keep them alive), and spending as much time as I can with my loved ones. I have lived in Boston, Paris, and New York City, and am now lucky enough to call Charleston home, while also still traveling the world for my clients. You can usually find me on my back porch in downtown Charleston, right next to my favorite little park.

tldr: Jessica is amazing and I don’t think you can go wrong with her if this is the style of photos you like I had a lot of difficulty picking a photographer as I’m pretty picky with photos. I knew I wanted something bright and light, with kind of a whimsical or ethereal vibe, but it was really hard finding the style until I came across the “fine art” style. Jessica’s name came up while researching this style and I decided to reach out to her among a few other fine art photographers. I definitely hoped talks would go well with Jessica as the others I contacted ended up either not responding or were wildly out of my budget. Pre-Planning: Jessica was wonderful throughout this process. She promptly responded to my emails and answered questions clearly. I never felt like I was left in the dark for any part of the process. When I sent her the timeline of the ceremony/reception, she quickly came up with a timeline to slot in all the photos to be taken ahead of time at the location (We had access to the venue for a little over an hour prior to the ceremony). She also asked for a list of family photos that we wanted to take. This made it very easy at the wedding as she could call out people’s name to make sure everyone that was supposed to be in the pictures, were in the pictures. Jessica also sent over a list of ideas for detail shots and explained she could do this ahead of time. We didn’t want extra pictures of these and decided against it, however, I still thought it was very thoughtful of her to offer. Wedding Day: I loved her energy at the wedding. She was very calm and felt very competent. She directed my husband and I throughout the pictures, showing us poses etc. During family and wedding party photos, even though we had many bodies to fit in the frame in quite a few pictures, she led us through them with ease and the entire experience was very stress free (or as stress free as can be at a wedding lol). The venue was quite dim at specific locations, but the final results did not reflect that at all. The pictures were bright and did not look like they were taken in the dark at all. (This is a little off topic but I loved the little apron with pockets she wore for her equipment. So cute) I’m not sure when Jessica had the time, but there were pictures around the venue which were so beautiful. I definitely feel like the day was captured through the pictures. Post Wedding: Jessica sent us a sneak peak 2 days after the wedding containing 23 pictures. They turned out great and were beautiful. You can see examples on her website so I won’t elaborate, but they really are that good. The full gallery was sent almost a month after the wedding (minus 2 days) with instructions on purchasing prints or an album attached. The full download contained 650ish files, including the sneak peek pictures. Half of which were black and white, so this matched up pretty perfectly with Jessica’s estimation of the amount of photos when we spoke in the pre-planning stage.
